I've recently sold my car and was assured I would get my extended warranty money back if I did not use it, I've called "bob o'hara" atleast 5 different times and days, Leaving a voicemail every time; and no call back nothing, same as the general manager, it's like no one works there, or they can't seem to find their phone, it is ridiculous that I was assured I would get my money back on a extended warranty, but when it comes too, no one wants to answer me. The lady answering the phones is very nice, but everyone after that is no help. I have purchased 2 trucks from this dealership. Always took my truck there for service. So when I got a dent in it, I took it in to the body shop. After a week I still didn't have an estimate or an update so I called in. The body shop manager said it was going to be around $5k and he would get back to me. I later got a voice mail saying we would get around to it next week. When I called back I advised the body shop manager that I still yet to receive a written estimate and time to repair was too long. He told me to come pick it up! So I did. When I got there he told me "we don't want business from people like you". Okay. I went in to advise the GM of my issue and treatment. He was just as rude and obnoxious. I said I would take up my grievance on the internet and BBB report. He later called me that evening and threaten that he would take "action against me" if I made any complaints or posting on social media. Okay. I took my truck to a local body shop. The estimate took 10 minutes, Not a week. The cost was $3400, a 32% difference from their padded estimate. My local body shop will have it done within a week. That is before Russ Milne Ford could get around to doing it.....Oh, and they made me pay for a rental call for 6 days while I never got an estimate. Not only did they fix the problem the first time they made both me and my car feel cozy and welcome. I got free coffee while I waited and it was clear that my car got the star treatment as well! I received my repaired vehicle on time, freshly washed, waxed and detailed on the inside. Further, they threw in a handy driver side sanitary floor mat cover thingy and a half a roll of Lifesavers perched thoughtfully in my cup holder. Bought a brand new bronco sport with 850+ miles on it from Vanessa in sales. Asked for a discount on the price due to the mileage and sales manager Bob O'Hara assured me it's in good condition cause the owners wife was driving it and there's no budging on the price. Over the next two days noticed the alignment was off, shredded cheese and food crumbs under the seats, loose change in the back, pine needles and dirt in the trunk. Dropped the car off before they opened on a Tuesday one week after purchasing for it to be fixed and cleaned. Service department was short staffed and couldn't get to it that day which is understandable. Upon arriving to pick it up Vanessa said she cleaned the car. Went to inspect it and she just washed the floor mats and left the food. Went to talk to the GM Keith Batko and he said the owners wife being a slob isn't his problem and he doesn't know why I am in his office. Service department manager recognized the situation and cleaned the car himself, found a loaner and fixed the car the following day. Big props and a thank you to the service department! Spend your money on a vehicle else where, or at least avoid Vanessa, Mike O'Hara, and Keith Batko. read more

Called the service department about 3:30 in the afternoon on a Wednesday with a problem with the brakes on our Diesel tow truck. Everyone was extremely helpful when I got there and the truck was finished on Friday! Almost a week earlier than estimated. Excellent service. STAY AWAY FROM SERCICE AT ALL COST . I have always took my vehicle to the dealership and pay top dollar to have them fix it. I understand dealer prices are more than your avarage shop. Well I dropped off my Car on Monday 1/6/2020 for a Headlight issue and now over 10 days sitting at the shop and first quote was $745 for a SJB replacement I said ok . Well they replaced it and still no headlights so they need more diagnosis time at $110 a hr I ok it . Then I receive a call 1/10/2020 that I need 2 new Headlight Assembly at a price of $4500 for Motorcraft parts WTF .Well they tell me I can get aftermarket parts for $2500 which now I'm fed up and just want my car so I agree . They call Monday to say the parts still are not in and that there now Used parts which I never agreed to they just made that decision for me . So basically Over 10 days no vehicle and possible over $2500 for used parts with no warranty that I did not agree to . And if I just wanted to come pick up my car they want over $ 700 just for Diagnosis fees which they didn't even diagnosis right to begin with . MICHAEL THE TECH IS NICE BUT HE RARELY CALLS WITH ANY UPDATES. LONG STORY LONG THEY ARE DEFINITELY GETTING OVER ON ME . SHOULD OF WENT TO THE Lincoln dealer instead. *******Update 1/15/2020 still haven't received my repaired car yet and was called to ask if I wanted to replace a single Fog Light for around $90 when I have proof of both working and installed prior to bringing it in so now they have to order new Fog lights that they some how magically lost and my car sits for who knows how much longer . Think after all this time I'd be offered a courtesy rental car for all the mistakes they have made . So now I'm still having to pay for Ubers till I get it back . read more

Went to see about a 2019 Ford F-150 Platinum w/ 3.5L Ecoboost and trailer hitch; I'm looking for a F-150 with max tow pkg. Well it was big waste of time. First, when I walked into their sales floor no one made eye contact, approached me, asked me if I needed help or if I was looking for anything in particular. I felt invisible as sale people did not look up from their desk, paper work, computers or stop conversing with each other to acknowledge me. I looked around for a few minutes then went out to lot to look at the truck I came to see about. Once I returned to building I approached a finance and manager person for assistance; he sat me down with a salesman. The salesman couldn't even tell me what it towed, stating "it wouldn't tow more than 6000-7000 lbs." and that it didn't have max tow pkg. He told me I should get a F250 and they don't carry F-150 w/ tow pkg unless it's special ordered. He informed me a lot of women are driving F-150 because they drive like a car but if I want tow a camper I should just buy a F-250. For the record, the F-150 3.5L Ecoboost with trailer hitch tows roughly 9000 lb. and w/ max tow pkg., it tows 13,200 lbs. Also Ford dealers do have F-150 XLT, Lariat, and other trim levels with the max tow pkg available w/out special ordering them; there is no need to special order or buy a F-250 if you don't want too. I even asked about new ones bc I seen one on the lot yesterday in red tone w/ max tow pkg. He said he need the VIN or car ID # to look it up; he did a brief search and told me that they did not have any F-150 with a tow pkg and they did have anything I was looking for. He never inquired about how much money I wanted to spend, cash down or trade in I had, whether I would lease or buy. He just had no interest in selling me the truck I came in to see about or any other vehicles for that matter! I kind of did test this 65-70+yr. old salesman just to see how much he'd help me, his knowledge about their inventory and Ford trucks He was useless. I knew more about some trucks available on his lot and he had no idea. He acted like he didn't want to sell this woman a car and I was clueless in what I wanted!!!! So I left this dealership and went to another one in Rochester; I'm going to be buying a F-150 XLT 3.5L Ecoboost with max. Tow pkg. 0% for 72 months and I have the Ford A/Z discount. I can understand why Russ Milne does not have 5 star reviews; I'd give them 1 read more

Exactly how long does it take to re-paint the back door on an Expedition? I had this same problem last August. I took my car to the Russ Milne Ford body shop last Monday which was 5-11-15 to get the back door repainted under the warranty for the 2nd. time because they apparently did not do it right the first time last August. I called today, Friday 5-15-15 and it went to the paint shop TODAY!!! They had my vehicle all week long and it is being painted today?????? I was told MAYBE I will get it back next Wednesday! WOW!!!!!!!! Over one full week (AGAIN) to repaint the rear door on the vehicle. I will never, ever buy another vehicle from Russ Milne Ford! The body shop is terrible. They take your vehicle in as scheduled, but they do not work on it when they take it in. read more

We took our 2006 Expedition to the service department because it was running very rough. A tune up was performed and the the truck ran good for 1 week. We brought the truck back with the same symptoms as the first time. This time it was recommended that we replace the solenoids. The truck ran good for about 2 weeks. We brought it back for a 3rd time and this time it was recommended that the engine be rebuilt. Unwilling to do this I had the truck towed to another garage. They found the problem right away. A used solenoid was placed in the engine and had a tear in protective mess. So the solenoid that we just payed over $500 to be replaced had to be replaced again. We have now had the truck running great for the last month. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND RUSS MILNE FORD FOR ANYTHING. read more

They told me they couldn't even look at my car until Monday and when I called to check on the progress of my car they said they'd get back with me and never did. Horrible service department I just moved here in January and around that time my husbands truck would not start after coming out of work we have a 14 F-150 with only 15k on it so it is still under warranty I had it towed to this location on a Friday night so over the weekend they were closed when I stopped by on Monday to check on the status of the truck I was told it had flooded but they couldn't explain why and then was told not to use E85 in it even though its a flex fuel cause it was to cold for it so alright I wouldn't so by the end they could not tell us why the truck was having problems other than it could be the gas but they weren't sure OK so I go finish up with them and they tell me there is a $52 dollar charge for them diagnosing it even though its under factory warranty I should not have had to pay anything for it and when I spoke to the service department manager he was rude and unkind and told me I didn't have a choice but to pay it cause they couldn't find the problem and had to charge someone for it and that was it. How about my warranty should have covered it and 5 other dealerships said the same I shouldn't have been charged anything. Needless to say my truck did the same again and was towed to Dorian Ford this time who gave exceptional service and was even kind enough to put me in a loner vehicle for a few days for the inconvenience of not getting to my vehicle for a few days. I will never return to Russ Milne yes I am still pissed and want my money back I have worked for ford for the last year in NC and we would never dream of treating people the way your service department people and manager did. My name is Mike Catalanotti I went to Russ Milne to lease an escape for two years with 15,000 miles a year, I got a price for $350.00 a month for 2 year lease. I asked what is three years? they said $ 300.00 a month I agreed, just before I went to sign papers they take you to a room where the accounting area is, this guy tells me that the factory warranty is for 36,000 miles , I need 45,000 miles for 3 years , the 2 year lease was too high to lease for a basic escape. I could lease a Lincoln MKC for $360.00 a month. The guy at Russ Milne tells me I have to buy insurance for extended warranty at a cost of $12.02 extra a month. By useing scare tactics such as you will be responsible for expensive head lights and computer conponets. I feel that I was tricked by their scare tactics I have been a loyal Ford customer for a long time, I felt that I got beat all the way around at Russ Milne. read more

We just purchased a new Edge from Dino(sales) yesterday. Our friend gave us his name and he is the best car sales person I have ever dealt with. We didn't like the car for the color that we picked out on the internet and he brought the cars up with different colors until we found one we liked. We purchased so there was a mountain of paperwork which he was an expert(obtaining every rebate possible) He also gave us what we wanted on our trade which really sealed the deal. All of this, car prepped - transferred all of the stuff from one car to the new one and we were out the door in 2 hours-20 minutes! I also really enjoyed the dealership as I thought I was in Jay Leno's Garage with the Ford GT's sitting there with the new cars. We didn't drive from Hawaii to get there as I registered with Yelp many years ago over there !!! Update-12/11/2018 We just ordered and purchased an Edge ST from Dino and had the same results as above. Since our order was custom, Dino kept us updated and the ST was delivered just in time for Christmas. Since I had time to clear our trade out- he had us out the door in 1 hour and 20 minutes. We could not be happier with the ride and tech in the new Edge ST. I found myself planning a 30 mile run to buy 1/2 gallon of milk. It makes you feel like the test drivers in the you tube reviews! Russ Milne Ford is an honest dealership and worth the drive if you live anywhere in Metro Detroit. We could not be happier with our selection on the Edge and the dealership.
