I stopped here today after my windshield sprayer decided to take a shit on my Ford Focus. Originally I went to O'Reileys but the $18 part I purchased was a universal part and sadly didn't fit for my Focus so my next place to look was the dealer. I didn't purchase my Ford at this dealer but this was the closest one and I wasn't going to complain. Eric was really helpful at the Parts desk. I told him my sprayer connecter snapped off and before I could even finish what I was saying he knew exactly what part I needed. Apparently it happens to a lot of Ford's. Shame on you Ford! Wish I came to Russ Milne first because the part was only $7, I was told it was going to be $25 when O'Rileys told me. Well done! Was in and out within 5 minutes. Very clean and very helpful. Lots of vending machines and couches/seats to sit in. Will definitely consider this dealership when searching for a new car. read more

Worst ford dealership around I'd rather recommend suburban ford before this place but Serra ford is the best to go to. Terrible communication about my service appointment. Took my vehicle into the body shop to have repairs done no problem there. Everything was fine there, but I asked for my old part and they already threw it out which that's illegal. And then found out my passenger side mirror wasn't working after the fact told me to take it to the service. I try to not go to dealerships and Russ Milne Ford has not made me feel any better. Towed my 2022 F150 there and when I talked to service manager he sure seemed god like which I do not need. He seemed to really focus on talking down to people instead of being polite and helpful. Remember , I am the customer and you know nothing about me. I was a bit unsure about taking my Daughter's Focus here given the reviews but decided to take a chance. I found the entire staff to be very welcoming and friendly. My service writer Christopher Wilson was helpful in the assessment of my repair ( front marker / signal lamp). I also had the oil changed and tires rotated. The work was done quickly, and I was out in no time. Keep in mind we did not have an appointment, and it was the day after Thanksgiving (they were very busy with five or six vehicles ahead of mine). I was flirting with the idea of getting a Mustang convertible for a while. I finally decided it was time and I met a cool salesman Dave Curtiss. We talked numbers (out the door price and my trade in). I warned him I didn't want all the unnecessary accessories and/or add ons. He understood and reassured me they don't do that. Steve the finance manager asked a few questions and he and I asked if I wanted at least the wheel and tire protection. Unfortunately I had an incident with the previous vehicle and I had to pay out of pocket. So this add on is actually not bad to have considering Michigan roads and it's good for 7 or 8 years unlimited. Hopefully I don't use it but if I run over a nail or something my tire will be fixed or replaced. Overall the buying experience was great and I recommend the dealership and Dave. read more

UPDATE: I took my truck to Roy O'Brien Ford in St. Clair Shores, Michigan to get a second opinion before looking for a new vehicle. Luckily, Roy O'Brien Ford was honest. They told me I needed a lead frame replacement & quickly had my truck repaired for under $2K within 2 days. My truck DID NOT need a new motor and transmission & I did not have to spend $6K - $8K for repairs like they told me at Russ Milne Ford. Be careful who you trust. Scheduled service appointment for back hatch clips needed re-install. At check in, was told they had mandatory $180 diagnostic fee, and when I questioned "$180?!", service check in man said he would not be insulted and requested I leave. I apologized for any misunderstanding, and still needed my appointment for repair and he said I should "leave," turned around and walked away. I've never entered a negative review before, but do save your time (and cash) and go somewhere where your business is valued and needs are addressed. read more

Terrible customer service, at least in the service department. I've been coming here every so often since I bought my car here in 2013 and every time pretty much I've ended up crying. Usually they have pretty good/decent communication in the past but this last experience with them was ridiculous. Took me a week to get an appointment (which is fine) but then I hear nothing back at all until I call four days later just to find out they didn't even LOOK at my car yet. Why give me a Monday appointment if you can't even get to it until Friday??? It would have been fine if I was made aware of that in the first place but I was under the impression I would have my car back later that week. Then my car isn't even finished until the next Thursday, almost 2 weeks to fix a wire. Also tried calling the general manager to talk to them about this issue before leaving this review and he didn't even return my call for an entire week, and leaves a rude voice mail being confused why I even called him. I'm just never bringing my car back here again and I would advise also just save yourself the headache and go to a dealership or mechanic that actually cares and knows how to handle customers in a better way. I have worked in customer service for many years and it just seems crazy to me that they get away with this terrible of customer service. The people that answer the phones right away and the cashier are always nice at least. There are nice people in the service department, I just haven't really had the best time here ever. Made a week out detailed SCHEDULED appointment explaining needs of oil change and SENSOR FAULT to be fixed and noted I will wait in lobby. Once there, "Ford service member" says the "APPOINTMENT" only covers "TALKING" to service rep about the sensor BUT not fixing it! What is the point of a week notice scheduled appointment detailed "Sensor Fault" just to "TALK" and NOT FIX. Waste of time, still have sensor fault! I recommend Suburban Ford or Crest Ford, an appointment there gets your issues resolved. We have been dealing with Brad in service for years, mostly without issue, until recently. We take both our vehicles here, 40 minutes from our home, out of pride thinking we're getting the best. At our last oil change they failed to check our fluids, leaving our windshield reservoirs empty in the dead of the slushy winter. Our F250 never had a single leak issue until after the last oil change. We complained, took it back being lead to think they'd fix the issue on their dime since they caused it only to be called a day later expecting $500 out of our pocket (Ford covering $400) to fix it because their investigation resulted in them not being at fault. Be careful doing business with the service department here. It seems you spend a little bit of money and then they charge, charge, charge as if you're rich. They cut corners, cause more issues and refuse to fix the damage they caused. Taking our business elsewhere! read more

Made an appointment for service for a very simple repair. The service advisor on the phone told me I would be able to wait for my vehicle. I took the day off, took it in for my appointment and a different service advisor said it more than likely wouldn't be today and he couldn't even tell me if it would be done the next day. He said the appointment was only to drop it off and talk to the advisor and that the advisor I made the appointment with shouldn't have told me I could wait. I ended up leaving because I needed the vehicle the next day. I don't see the point of the appointment. This isn't the first time I've had problems with the people working in service. My husband took his truck in 2 weeks ago for a warrantied transmission issue. He called yesterday and they said they will try to get it done today. I am not going to hold my breath. They are so rude, nasty and I feel racist. They have piss poor attitudes when dealing with blacks. Even after they were cut a check for 25k not even 45 days ago. Chris in service is by far the worst. I wanted the vehicle appraised while being serviced and oh boy was that an issue. The service rep Chris became a jerk after I told him I didn't want another ford. Maybe the lack of diversity in that place is the issue!! I've talked to 2 black women who have had issues with the service department as well. Charging them thousands to fix a vehicle, but the vehicle is having the same issues. Attempted charging another diagnostics for the same issue, another had to get her husband to go up there because they failed fix the problem or order the part. On a previous vehicle purchased a remote start fob, it needed to be programmed, everyone acted as if it was a problem. Horrbile place to do business, seem very racist, unprofessional, rude, no real diversit in the employees. I've seen 1 black sales associate the times I've been. I haven't seen one black service representative. Do better!!!! Be better!!! Or is this what Ford Motor Company stands for. I lead a busy life. Russ Milne helped me cope with that the other day. I have a 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid which I purchased new from Russ Milne Ford. It doesn't always get the attention it deserves, but I am pretty good on the maintenance end of things. Well, the battery gave me some trouble a couple months ago and I put it in the back of my mind to have it checked. Trouble reared it's ugly head again last week as I was preparing to leave on a road trip. I knew that Milne's service department was open till 9pm, so I decided to swing by and see if they could help me. A few questions about the source of my concern and they took it in. I was questioned about the age of my current battery and I offered up that it probably had not been changed since new. They said they would check on it for me. About 20 minutes later, my vehicle was brought back around. Apparently, it really was the original battery that I came in with and at 135,000 miles, I told them that I probably wouldn't have to put another battery in it again. Quick service and friendly service, as well as efficient and competent technicians make this my first dealership on the list when I require service. On a side note, in the showroom they have a couple 2006 GT-40s on display (and apparently for sale), as well as a supercharged Mustang convertible. Awesome cars! I waited six weeks patiently to take my car in and they got the dates mixed up so I had to wait another week to get my car in after waiting six weeks and it took them six days to tell me it's gonna cost $8000. Great Sales and Customer Service, and I got to deal with RUSS MILNE for the whole transaction. I DID NOT have to deal with anyone else and the whole process was quick as a lunch break. THIS PLACE WILL SCAM YOU OF YOUR MONEY. They're prices are ridiculous for not even completing their services. Went in for a check engine light and I had maintenance, costed 1000$. Engine is back on after, come back in less than 3 months later and they say it will cost almost another 500$. Last visit, I paid 800$ just in service fees, not the parts. So tell me how I paid you to fix my engine light and it is still not fixed. They said that it was a different reason for the light and it did not show up last time I was there but it is THE REASON my engine light is on. They said it just was not caught last time I was there. Also, wanted me to pay for new brakes and rotators but when I asked about my breaks 2 months ago they said they were fine. None of this is adding up, all of a sudden I need new breaks, pins and caps, exhaust, breaks, rotors, windshield wipers!! They knew they messed up so they offered me a discount, but I will be taking my money somewhere else. You only gives discounts to keep your customers. YOU CANNOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. they will try and get every last dime out of you. Everyone I talked to in the car dealership/mechanic industry said that they were playing me and I just don't trust them anymore. I came in for an issue, and payed 1000$ to leave with the same issue. Happy to try and upsell repairs and grab money on a recall visit, but asking for a loaner in the meantime isn't going to get you anywhere. NHTSA launches safety recall campaigns on vehicles with issues that deem the car unsafe to drive, which isn't the owners fault. Since Ford and their suppliers dropped the ball with unsafe design flaws, wouldn't you think it'd be fair to provide the owner of said vehicle with a reliable loaner in the meantime? Don't give me the chip shortage story either, you've got a lot packed full of cars, you can afford to put a couple in your fleet. I'd advise you not to waste your time here. read more
