The octopus came next, it had a nice balance of acid, was well seasoned, but some octopus was very overcooked and rubbery. The gnocchi was soft and pillowy with great brown butter notes, however the guanciale was burnt to a crisp and affected the dish. The sauce and tapenade were great. Here's where they shined, the agnolotti - perfectly cooked pasta, nice acid, goat cheese and pea notes. The fried chips provided a really nice contrast to the pasta. The ramp pesto is delicious. The asparagus's and peas are flavorful and well cooked. I can't believe this came out of the same kitchen as the last pasta fish and bread. If they can fix a few easy cooking mistakes and have a more friendly front of house, Allora could be the top of the GR food scene.

At 9:10, we finally had a table! They did bring us complimentary prosecco since our table wait was 40 minutes past the reservation time. Our server, Levi, was phenomenal. All in all, the food was spectacular, the space is gorgeous, and service once seated was amazing. While the dishes looked beautiful and high quality, the portions were quite small for the price and felt too specific for my personal taste. When we arrived, we were seated in a private area near the front window at a long table, which was nice in theory, but the space was extremely hot. So I ordered a small Amore Pizza ($20). This has House-made sausage, ham, bacon, pineapple, mozzarella cheese, and tomato sauce. I got mine without the pineapple. The pizza was good. It just wasn't special. The ingredients all seemed tasty enough. The crust wasn't my favorite, but I didn't dislike it either. I brought some home and I liked it even less cold. I've had so many better pizzas. Not sure how people think it's the best. The service was outstanding. Definitely service with a smile and enthusiasm. Overall a 4 star review. Would I return? For the pizza, no. Maybe to try something else. It is definitely an above average place, just maybe not for me.
