I have mixed feelings about the help here. I flew all the way from Idaho to shop here for a home we're building for a client. Didn't get much help from the four people that were sitting behind the counter. They had a sale going on so I chose some items that would fit in the car and let them know I'd come back to get the rest at the end of the week for the rest to take to storage. They wouldn't give me the discount because the purchase was on two separate invoices which I would have done different had I known. When I asked if they could refund and add them to one invoice she said no. I flew back a couple of weeks after to pick up and make another purchase. I asked for a box / card board to pack the items in for transport in our Penske truck and they said they didn't have any. Didn't even try to help. Asked to switch a lamp shade to an exact lamp bottom to match a set and they said no. This store has good pricing and some great items but the staff should be more HELPFUL and thankful that people come in and spend money. read more

I totally disagree with the negative posts on Yelp about poor customer service at Rustic Furniture. They have always been friendly to us. We appreciate that they allow us time to wander around and look at things without any sales pressure. I know we're not the only ones who have gone in to look several times before being ready to buy anything. As soon as we make a decision (or if we have questions before making a purchase), someone is always willing to help us. Today we purchased a bed we had been looking at for months. Before making a final decision, we went to NFM and spent 2 hours there. Found something we liked, but the quality of wood just didn't compare to what we saw at RF. So, we came back and bought the bed we had originally picked out, confident it was the one for us. Save yourself the extra time. If you like something you see at Rustic Furniture, you might as well go ahead and get it. If you look elsewhere to be sure, you'll probably be coming back. We are also very happy with a hutch we purchased here a few months ago. It wasn't available in the color we wanted so we had to wait several weeks for it to be customized and delivered, but it was worth it. We love it and get so many compliments on it. They don't even look at you on the eye or say hi to you while you're walking around in the store. The furniture is from Rustico and they get it all from Mexico and then over charge you a fortune. Was very dissatisfied with service and delivery. They called just minutes before a delivery (after having waited several days) saying they didn't charge me enough and didn't charge me for delivery. And they wanted more money. Said they had new employee that messed up. I told them just refund me . After I called back when delivery showed he said he would split the difference of THEIR mistake. But wanted me to pay full amount again because they refunded my original charge. But that amount wouldn't be back on my card for 4-5 days. Worst customer service from the first time I went in. 5 kids hanging out at the front desk, could care less about helping out customers in the store. This place doesn't get enough credit! All of their furniture is made with real wood and is heavy and durable. I got a beautiful king bed set with a mattress for $2000, which is a total steal! For $60, the following Saturday, they delivered and set up my beautiful furniture! As far as customer service, Shaey walked all over the store with my mother and I while we looked at everything and was so patient because after we bought the furniture we went knick knack shopping! Wonderful experience! I was searching for a new bedroom set and this place was the only store online that had the distressed look I wanted. I called to make sure they had the set I wanted in stock and drove two hours to pick it up. Customer service was great and the men at the loading dock helped us load our trailer and we were out of there pretty quick. Will definitely be back in the future to pick out more furniture as I found lots of pieces I loved. I had a really great experience with Rustic Furniture Depot and highly recommend checking them out. I've been to pretty much every furniture store in the area like Anderson's, Weir's, Dillards, Leather Sofa Co. and Nebraska Furniture Mart, but I ended up buying an entire living room set of 5 pieces from Rustic Furniture Depot. This furniture store has items at all price points and the quality of the woodwork is very high. The employees are friendly and helpful, but they don't push sales on customers the way that competitors do. I bought the items over the weekend and they were delivered to me in Plano for $59 right on time. I'm really happy with this purchase and the price I paid. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE, RUDE STAFF, BIG CHEATERS and LIERS. We got a new house and ordered furniture from few stores. All other stores are on time in delivery with no other issues at all.This store staff is very rude, made us pay the full amount upfront , changed the delivery dates for two more months, even though we are being patient, again changed the delivery terms. When you are helpless in taking the furniture due to their last minute changed policies , they charge 15 percent penalty for the cancellation. I spoke to KATIE few times regarding this issue , she is very rude and this is the first time I ever had this kind of horrible experience from the stores. read more

I had an issue today that I bought a few items I failed to check it when I picked it up once I got home noticed that it had significant damage I imidetly called and spoke to a gentleman who advised me to send an email with pictures so I did, I got a call back once sent from Katie we discussed that she would exchanged the item I asked that because im an hour away from the store if she could meet me half ways with the delivery fee, I didnt even ask for free deliver one because it was my fault that I didnt check the item but again the furniture should be checked upon them loading it I was very disatified with her response, normally there customer service is good but today I didnt feel like they did anything to help me with the delivery she explained the policy I asked to speak to the owner she said he would not be givng you a call, the resolution is that I will have to drive back waste my gas, put milage on my car because of the damage furnitre. My experience with them was that the staff was friendly enough when we were in the store and buying furniture. But after the furniture was purchased, they didn't deliver on time. They never even contacted us to let us know the delivery was delayed. I had to call them each and every time only to be told there were delays. Despite their delays and poor customer service, I was dumb enough to order a coffee table and 2 end tables. They told me at the time of the order that the end tables were available and I intended to pick them up along with the dining room suite I was waiting on. When i did pick up my dining room suite and two end tables, they told me then that the two end tables weren't available and that they are awaiting delivery along with the coffee table. I placed the order for the coffee table and end tables in December. We're now in February and I had to call them only to find out it would be yet another 3 weeks before I get my set! I spoke with the Manager and her response was that their furniture is coming from Mexico and given the border issues and lumber issues, so based on this information, they're not even sure the furniture has even been made let alone provide a realistic delivery date. Disappointed would be an understatement. We lost all of our furniture in the flood during the February Winter storm. We went to rustic furniture depot to replace all of our living room furniture. I was a little disappointed in the customer service then and that should have been a huge red flag.They said it would take about 12 weeks for the furniture to arrive which is understandable. About 12 weeks in we called and they said that 2 pieces were in and the 3rd would be here Monday. We called back on Tuesday and they said everything was here and that they would deliver on Friday. On Thursday we called just to confirm the delivery and they said that everything was ready. Friday morning they called to tell us that 1 piece was missing. They said they could reorder the missing piece but it would take 12 weeks to get in again. Frustrated but not wanting an incomplete set I agreed. I asked them what they could do to compensate the huge 12 week inconvenience and they said the best they could do was deliver for free but they could not give us any discount. Later that day the delivery for the 2 pieces came and one of the pieces had a crack in it... just overall disappointed that I couldn't rely on customer service or quality of the product. read more

My wife and I have purchased quite a bit of furniture from this company in the past and have had decent service until recently. We had ordered a bench from them in late March and was told it would take 30 days.Checked on status several times, each time being told it was still on back order. My wife asked to speak to a manager and was told she would be called back by the end of the day. That never happened, even after a couple of follow up calls. She was finally told by a person that answered one of the calls that they couldn't find the order, even though we provided the order number and it was already paid for! we finally asked for our money back which they did, without even a simple apology. I understand the current situation with product delays, but I cannot understand poor customer service and blatant disrespect. Wish I could rate below a 1. Worst customer service EVER! We did our part as a customer. Picked out furniture they sell, paid in full for two bedroom sets at time of purchase and paid for delivery. Waited 6 weeks for products to be in and schedule their 3 hr window delivery. They didn't deliver one of the nightstands b/c they said it was damaged, and would take another 4 weeks to reorder, and the pieces of one bed frame didn't fit together. (We had put the previous frame in storage in preparation for delivery);so our out of town guests slept with mattresses on the floor for two night before RFD could get back out with corrective parts demanding another 3 hr. window. Fast forward 4 weeks to night stand delivery. they called o inform us that the night stand was in and I scheduled yet another 3 hr window. They confirmed the night before, then called right before the delivery time to let us know that the night stand was damaged and they would have more in in two days. They demanded we schedule yet another 3 hour window for possible nightstand delivery in 3 days. RFD never offered or provided any confession for our loss of work or trouble for them to fulfill this order. No delivery refund, no discount, no exact appointment time to make us not have to wait another 3 hours. I will NEVER purchase from RFD again and looking at the furniture that I was once excited to get, now is just a reminder of the ridiculous struggle to get it And how much more it cost us in missing work and aggravation. read more

I cannot begin to convey how disappointed in the Monterey Leather Power Recline Sofa Set that I paid over $4,000.00 for. I would never recommend this furniture to anyone. It is by far the worst purchase I have ever made. After 2 ATTEMPTS at fixing this disastrous recliner that rocks from side to side and leans every which way but the way it is suppose to. I wish like H**L I could go back and order from somewhere else. ANYWHERE else. I was shopping for furniture for the new house and went to just about every furniture shop in town and no one had the "look" I was after and then I stumbled across Rustic Furniture Depot's website and I was in LOVE. When I found out it was just a quick 20 min away from my house we took a field trip to browse around and make sure their merchandise was as awesome in person as it looked online - and it was! We've gotten a TV stand, round table and chairs, an end table that's actually a square chest, sofa table, star decor, rug and 2 framed decor items from Rustic Furniture Depot and I've been pleased with all of it. The prices are awesome and they will deliver for a fee - its varies depending on where you live, but I think it's a flat rate for as much as they can fit in the truck (I think!!) I know I'll be back here soon when I need some more furniture or decor. If you friend them on facebook they will tempt you with photos of new merchandise when it comes in. read more

This was our first time purchasing from Rustic Furniture Depot and our last. We went to look at the Riverwalk dining table because we fell in love with it in their website. Well wish we didn't. The whole thing was a nightmare. Went in over Labor Day weekend found the table and loved it so we inquired. We were told they had 15 of these tables coming in around 9/15 so we could get one of those. We thought great as we were moving at the end of sept so we would have it delivered to our new home. Well that didn't happen. Called back several times and keot being told to call back. I finally get someone on 9/18 to admit to me that delivery came in and these tables weren't on the truck. Now our new due date is end of October!!! What!? We sold our old table and now have to wait another 7 weeks!? We Would have appreciated some kind of follow up. I had to call several times and not once did I feel as though Rustic Furniture cared. Never received a call back always had to call again. When I said that I might need to cancel my order as I had no kitchen table and a party scheduled I was told I'd have to pay a 10% restocking fee. How can you charge a restocking fee for a table you never had in stock. Absolutely terrible customer service. Then when it finally arrives it looks nothing like the table we fell In love with. If the manufacturer and your company are aware that what you are selling may not look like the item in the store or online then it should be mentioned somewhere. Warning: please read before purchasing anything from The Rustic Furniture Depot they sell cheap furniture. After 1.5 year my 40lb 5 year old son learned over the edge of the table and broke a leg of the pedestal of the table. When calling the only excuse was it was "clearance" because I bought the table that someone ordered round they sent square so I bought it. Full of excuses to avoid the truth of cheap furniture. Pleasr look at the picture to see how cheap their furniture is. This doesn't even count the couch and chair that have now started pulling from the seams after a year. I asked this guy for a price on a piece of furniture that I LOVED btw & he told me "it wasn't his area" and walked away without a word. Hubby and I have been here twice now to purchase pieces for our bedroom. Our king size bed has been amazing over the past year and we just added our dresser and night stands. The night stands did have to be ordered and we are expecting them in 3-4 weeks. Terrible customer service. I was not greeted as I came in. Walked around the entire store, not a single person approached me. Had to go ask for help. He gave me a price, but didn't talk much about all the sofas, much less ask what I was looking to buy to maybe discuss what my options were. I was given the impression he didn't care to be there. I ignored it and decided to spend $1,500 cash on 2 pieces along with a $125 delivery fee, which I was okay with, yet was told I needed to wait 2 weeks for my furniture! That did it for me. The voice in my head told me to leave and that is what I did. As much as I wanted a sofa & recliner from there, I refuse to do business with bad customer service. If I was to ever need them for any warranty issues with my furniture, I can only imagine how they'd be if they don't even care to make a sale! So Disappointed! I even spent 2 hours driving. Big waste of my day! Crazy part is I mentioned the bad reviews to them on Instagram the day before, because I didn't want to waste my time, yet they talked me into ignoring those reviews!
