The atmosphere is like a sports bar. The food was good, the only thing was the pizza crust was a little dough, but was good. The doublestack burger, boss hog sandwich and fish and chips were all good. Multiple tvs for multiple games. The whiskey selection seems like a good amount and quality. The service was good. Would eat here again. Nice place for a sports bar.

Yes, absolute yes. A chill bar with ALL homemade fresh food? New secret hideout is what this means. First off love the staff they're all super helpful and both friendly. Drinks are reasonably priced & food is even BETTER! When I said it's all made to order , I'm not kidding. Hand battered chicken tenders that have a different twist to them, the most amazing BAKED Mac & cheese & the most flavorful darn mashed potatoes and gravy I've ever had. We also tried the crispy chicken wrap & the whipped ricotta dip. 100000/10 we will most definitely be back. Nothing beats the prices and the quality at this place!

This place is a hidden gem! We went for a doctor appointment in that area and found it on Yelp! What a pleasant surprise when we walked in, so clean and neat! Tons of tables and chairs with a huge bar and so many TV's! The food selection was great, lots of sandwiches and burgers! The seasoned tater tots were amazing! Sammy, our bartender and waitress was so fun! She made me a drink called "Liquid Marijuana", it was delish! You must stop in if you are in the area, don't mind that it's in a strip mall with an urgent care beside it, you won't be disappointed!!

Not true Detroit Style, but it wasn't greasy and had a good crisp with caramelized cheese on the edges. Quite good!

They did a great job with the renovation! Very clean with a ton of space. Really slick looking inside. Food menu is limited, but overall looks decent. The Nashville Hot Chicken isn't true to style, but the chicken was very good. The chicken should be fully coated in the hot sauce and the sauce needs to be hotter, but not bad overall. The pizza is square, but not true Detroit Style as the toppings were on top and the sauce in the bottom. It wasn't greasy and had a good crisp bottom with a nice caramelized cheese edge. It was a little underdone; not doughy, but just a minute or two underdone. Otherwise, flavorful and quite good. No beer on tap is odd, but the bottle selection was decent. Would really like to see draught beer here... Otherwise, service was really good and overall, a good experience! Can't wait to get back to try a burger.

    Our food

The food is average at best . Mushroom Swiss burger with seasoned fries was ok , wife's naked chicken sandwich was a frozen chicken patty, forgot her onions , mayo on it , not on the side . Daughter's brisket sandwich had really large pieces of fat , reg fries, supposed to be seasoned.service was good , friendly waitress, time frame a little slow . Place was clean & good decor . No rush to come back . But maybe .

The food was good, drinks were strong and the prices very reasonable. My wife and I will work this into our rotation of pubs we visit.

A frustrating experience when I came to lunch with several friends, there were 10 or us. The…read moreservice is just so slow it is maddening. This isn't slow like - just relax - you're here with friends - it's slow like - is anyone ever going to take our order, bring us a drink or bring us our food? It's pretty irritating to sit at a table with nothing on it and wait for anyone to come by and ask us what we want to drink. Then when we finally did order a drink - (waters, beers, pops & coffees), where are they and where is she? Finally she returns with drinks - disappears again. Everyone is getting mad - we just want to order some food. Once our food order is placed we wait again a lot more. The food came out in shifts - poor kitchen management? I don't know. I ordered the Southwest Eggrolls that sounded delicious, but when they finally showed up they were undercooked and awful. I was finally able to send them back and the waitress promised they'd be cooked some more. In the meantime food was slowly coming out. One of the guests meal literally came after everyone was finally done eating - not kidding. Poor guy sat there and watched all of us eat - he was a saint. Waitress kept promising it was 'almost ready'. My eggrolls came back out - still not good. I just decided not to eat them. No one was happy when we left. This is my second try here, I won't be back. Several others commented that this place is always slow - so I think they won't be back either. They just lost 10 diners.

The loaded tater tots are hands down the best around. I've tried them at other places, but nothing compares to Johnny Black's. They're the one appetizer I keep coming back for every single time. The drinks are always made perfectly. I usually get a margarita, and it's consistently great. If you're a beer drinker, the beer on tap is always ice cold and exactly how it should be. The atmosphere is fun, the service has always been great, and it's become one of those places that feels familiar and comfortable every time we walk through the door. If you're looking for a great place to grab drinks, appetizers, and spend time with friends or your significant other, I highly recommend Johnny Black's.

The Parmesan fries are so salty. Oh my lord, I cannot stomach them most times. At one of their other restaurants, it's not as bad. But I think they don't realize how salty Parmesan is. Swap out for tater tots or don't upgrade from the chips. All that said, great place to eat. Just need to work on their food times. Ale and Eddie's blows them away. They are part of the same company.

The fall out fries were the move over the regular fries. The serving size was enough for 2 people. The side salad was run-of-the-mill. I ordered a medium rare, 1/2 lb bison burger on a brioche bun with aged white cheddar, caramelized onions, and bourbon ketchup. It ending up being rare instead of medium rare, and had fried (crispy) onions instead of caramelized. My wife crafted her own mac and cheese. After confirming the "chicken bites" were fried, she ordered a bowl of mac with those, onions, cheddar, and velveeta. The chicken appeared to be grilled rather than fried, and the mac itself lacked any flavor. Considering the mac was $21, we definitely wouldn't order it again. To say the least, I wasn't surprised to hear World's End closed. Had it not, I would have given it another chance.

Also, we ordered a full order of onion rings but only got a "half order" because "this was the last of them." He did only charge us for a half order thankfully. It was around 4pm so we were confused as to why so much of their food had run out. The service was really friendly but the let down of the food was really really dissatisfying. The Mac and cheese was a really good portion and the food we got was good. There were a ton of games alongside the windowsill in case you want to play. It was such a nice touch. There was a pirate vibe which fit the name really well. They do flights and had a great variety of mixed drinks. For a night out, this place would be good! There's no automatic doors however there are no steps required to enter this place. There's two handicap spaces.

They are located next to a gas station which comes in handy if you also need gas. I order the number 1 and my son ordered the pizza burger. Both were very filling and delicious. The original burger was cooked perfectly and the bun was pretty good. The onions and pickles were so good and I don't usually like pickles. I didn't try the signature sauce as I'm not a fan of thousand island. But many people will enjoy it the way it's suppose to be made I'm sure. The pizza burger was pretty cool. It had 3 nice sized mozzarella sticks on them and pizza sauce. We wanted fries and they only come in one size. The one size is big enough to share. We were suggested the lemon pepper fries and that was such a great suggestion. They are fresh cut fries and you can tell. I was happy they had regular fries and not the battered crispy ones a lot of place do. So they definitely will get 5 stars for the fries alone. It has some seating inside, but most people seem to get carry out. The men at the counter were so nice in helping us. They really suggested things we would like and we did. I will be glad to give them my business again.
