Have eaten here 4-5 times in over the summer of 2024. Basically, it's a decent place to grab a beer, and maybe an appetizer as long as you sit close to the bar, wouldn't recommend actually eating here though. Went Friday 11/8, and honestly, probably won't go back. Not sure if it was a new cook, or if there was a staffing issue but everything was bad. We got seated away from the bar and our waitress could give a rats ass if we were there, slow to get another beer. Food was absolutely awful. Had the Greek pizza and it was like an undercooked cheese pizza with cold toppings and dressing poured on top, basically was doughy and cold. My kid got a "grilled" turkey sandwich, and the bread was only toasted. Have had nachos in the past, and they were drenched in canned cheese. This is our absolute favorite spot for a Saturday night cheat meal. Bar atmosphere is always enjoyable with many different games on the TVs, servers are friendly and always quick, and you literally cannot beat the Reuben pizza. It is hands down a top 3 pizza I've ever had. read more

May 23, 2023. Food was good. Ambiance was good. Waitress (Cheri) would not make eye contact or really engage at all, but she was with other customers. Not sure what we did to offend her because we are always polite and tip well and aren't demanding. Maybe I just have an ugly face. Our office is across the street so we just startrd getting them for lunch, at first i was iffy to try it but when we did i was very impressed! My husband and I went to watch the Michigan National Finals. I ordered a pitcher that was supposedly $6 and a half order of Nachos. Not only were the Nachos over priced for a half order the nachos were extremely over saturated with nacho cheese that made the nachos soft. I ended up ordering an additional amount of nacho chips to compensate for the extreme amount of cheese. The waitress (Brandy) was completely unattentive and she instead of asking us if we need anything else she brought the bill a quarter in the game and also charging us $7.75 for the pitcher. After bringing it to her attention that the pitcher was charged $1.75 more than she said.. she then corrected it. Once we were done, we fairly tipped her at least 20% which I feel is fair. once we left I discovered that there was an additional Dollar charged to my bill without my consent. I would never recommend anyone to go to this place because nobody is entitled to take money from someone especially if the service and food wasnt up to par. This is completely unexceptable. read more

Saturday, October 3rd. 2020 - Our Motorcycle Group, This Ride Goes to 11 set out for our 3rd Annual Pizza Run. We visited 5 restaurants, selected by our group members in a vote, and asked each restaurant to serve us their very best pizza. There were 7 of us on our ride that day and with that said, Wise Guys did not disappoint on any level. The service was great, very friendly, and very accommodating considering our group size, the food was exceptional and fresh and we all enjoyed the atmosphere and added interest in our quest. We were served the Mac Daddy Pizza, and it was delicious. Well, good morning Ladies and Gents. Me and the Wife when here last night pretty friendly place, friendly staff. I had two Bud light and Corned beef calzone and the Wife had some Buffalo wings and a Long Island ice tea. Food was great drinks as well. Only reason I'm giving it a 4 because they had this one obnoxious lady in there she was loud. I mean it's ok to be loud, it's a bar, but this lady was loud beyond that. Honestly, wasn't impressed at all. It's a nice place inside, but my servers have been mediocre and bad the two times I've been there. The first time I went, the server didn't check back frequently at all. We were there for almost an hour and a half and I think we saw her three times total. Terrific corned beef sandwiches!!! One of the best in the area, for sure. My favorites are Hygrades, Noahs' and Parrot Cove but this corned beef sandwich ranks right up there. Go there just for that. Very inexpensive lunch specials. We've been to Wise Guys a couple times now and have been very impressed with the quality of the food and service as well as the atmosphere (fun). If you're trying to watch the game, this is the place. It's impossible not to have a good seat as there are televisions covering the whole bar. Service is fast and reliable as the wait staff uses iPads take your order. The décor is new and fresh and a nice change from the other local watering holes. If you know anything about their original location, you know the food is top notch. The menu has transitioned to the new store and still contains some of the best specialty pizzas around (I suggest the Reuben!). Either a hit or miss, depending on the server you receive (ps, most servers there suck). Been going there for about a year, and service continues to decline. Day or Night, Lunch or Dinner, it doesn't matter because most the service is terrible. The servers are neglectful, and barely serve their customers because they are too busy entertaining their "friends". Not to forget about our previous server who completely messed up our whole table order because she was too high to function (yes, HIGH.. saw her outside smoking a joint). I hadn't been to this local mainstay since it was the Firehouse 10 or so years ago. A few months back my friend and I were looking for a place for a late night beer and some grub. Being that Wiseguy's is less than 10 minutes from both of us, we met here. First we enjoyed the decent beer selctions from both taps and bottles. We each ordered a sandwich and were very pleased. I had a turkey sandwich on a pretzel roll. Food was above what we were expecting. The menu has something for everyone. Usually when you see a menu that size, it can be a sign of trouble. You worry about how they can execute quality while offering so much. I assure you, they take great care in the food. The second time I was here my friend and I shared the nachos. So amazing. The ground beef is actually seasoned! Usually bar nachos are bland ground beef on top of salty chips with cheese-snot. Not here! They do use liquid cheese but offer shredded cheese for a small upcharge. The portion was huge, more than the two of us could eat, and we ordered the half-size! My husband had the ribs. $20 for a full slab with soup or salad and fries. I had some of the left overs the next day and wow. So good, tender and juicy. The fries reheated really well in the oven and were so crispy. The establishment itself is clean, with updated decor. They have plenty of flat screens, a huge bar and ample seating in the dining room. They have a dance floor and a DJ that takes requests. He's not obnoxious, and plays something for everyone at a reasonable volume. The restrooms are clean and modern. The "wiseguy" theme is a little over the top, with the gangster motif almost everywhere you look, but it's not cheesy. It is fun. Crowd is mixed but they do have a "doorman" to keep things on the up and up. There were younger people, middle aged, white, black-it is very diverse, but well behaved! Staff has always been friendly and efficient. I can be critical of wait staff, but everyone here knows how to do their job and seems happy to do it. And I am happy to tip well for it. We will be coming here a bit more often. Close to home, quality food and a nice atmosphere. What more could you want? read more

We've been to their other location but this was our first time at the new restaurant. Today's special was 50 cent wings and $2.00 bottled beer. The service was fast, friendly and efficient.
