I usually enjoy Mexican Food but this place was just downright disgusting. Food was bland and had no taste. Place was filthy. The food was so bad, I didn't even finish my burrito. I think they're using new meat. It's disgusting. I don't even think it's cooked. I think it's canned and warmed. I don't believe it was ever me to begin with and when I called to ask them if they had a new recipe from Karina dog food, she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about and that everything is yummy. Sad sad just sad... hectors bought out vitro and they have started using half ass of everything. We went here weekly like religion, we've tried 3 times before signing them off, and they will never get another penny from us. Low low quality of meat, and they keep the chewy gross stuff in it, and the new portions are just rude, you know how victors would smash food into container they gave so much, now it's ridiculous more wasted space instead of food. I went to this location and spent $60, and my family and I threw everything back up. We did not finish the food. The meat was purple. I called to speak to a manager, and the lady that answered was beyond rude. She refused to let me speak to a manager and told me I would not be receiving a refund. I called the health department, and they did nothing. I called Victor's again to try to speak to someone else, and as soon as I asked for a manager, the same lady hung up on me. I love me some Nachos! And before having kids, hubby and I would enjoy sitting on the patio of a big restaurant taking our time. But now with a toddler and infant, life doesn't always work out that way. Lol. Thank goodness I can get my nachos here! There are tables outside if you're able to stay. Or just hit up the drive through and enjoy at home! We got the super nachos - for only $8 they were loaded with beans, guacamole, sour cream, cheese and Carne Asada. The cheese was melted and it had the flavors I craved! Hubby also loves their tacos and the adobada burrito. That pork was super delicious!! I'll have to get it for myself sometime. I also tried the enchilada. Here was the only problem of our visit - I ordered cheese and was given chicken. There was only one lady working the window and the line was long enough that I didn't bother asking for it to be fixed. Fortunately, even the chicken enchilada has a decent amount of cheese. The flavor of both the sauce and the tortilla was so good! I can't wait to go back and get just the plain cheese!! For our son we got bacon and cheese fries. The fries are solid. What really impressed me? The thick chunks of bacon! And they use their awesome quest, not crappy shredded cheese. Seriously delicious! I certainly look forward to another visit soon! I've come to Victors a time or two before--and it wasn't bad. I like the corn tortilla soft shells they use for the tacos. However, after today, I'll continue to go to Hectors Taco Shop regularly. I ordered 3 fish tacos and 4 shrimp tacos with no lettuce and add CILANTRO. The guy taking my order said he got everything and my total was just over $14. We had 2 fish tacos and 2 shrimp tacos and they gave us at least 2 medium onions diced up on top of the tacos. I can't even fathom why they think that would be delicious or an okay substitute. Hectors, also in Fairborn, doesn't disappoint. Give them a shot. read more

I love victors. it's one of my favorite places to eat. Memorial Day, we ordered the Supreme Carne asada nachos. Our chips were stale. The Carne asada had zero flavor, and they didn't have hot sauce. We asked for extra green sauce and got 2. Every time I ask for extra hot sauce, we don't get it. I like hot sauce, I especially like yours. I was just disappointed today. I go here regularly and normally the lady is nice and provides great service, however, tonight I got there at 9:34PM and they were already closed and she stated that they are only open until 10 on Friday and Saturday. Victor's Taco Shop is located on the corner of Central Avenue and Broad Street, with entrances and exits on both street corners. The shop is a small little shop with no interior seating. There are four tables outside if you're eating there. I'm not sure how busy they get during lunch, but the tables could be taken when you arrive. There's a drive thru window for the taco shop, and four parking spaces in addition to one handicapped parking spot. There are specials Monday-Thursday at the shop. Monday - $1.99 for a cheese quesadilla Tuesday - $1.99 Beef or Chicken Taco Wednesday - $1.99 for three rolled tacos (taquitos) with sour cream and cheese Thursday - $1.99 Beef or Chicken tostada We ordered the #9 Beef burrito and Beef taco, a side order of rice, and three tacos (carnitas, fish, and adobada). We weren't too fond of the beef meat since it was more the shredded beef instead of the carne asada which they also have. The carnitas and adobada were great, with the carnitas being the better of the two pork meats. The fish meat was a little disappointing. It was too crispy and hard since it was fried for too long. And it was tiny. Its thickness was about the size of my middle finger...slightly bigger than my middle finger. The tacos come with lettuce and salsa but the salsa isn't really hot. It's more like lettuce and pico de gallo. You also get hot sauce in little containers so we asked for the hot one vs. mild. The hot wasn't too spicy either. The entire meal was a little too salty, but it wasn't to the point of being inedible. We enjoyed our meal at Victor's Taco shop! I really loved the side order of rice! I had a long-standing 4 star review because I really liked coming here. Unfortunately in the last six months I have tried it 3 times and it just messes my stomach up! I think it's the beef. Ok, so I was fully ready to write a bad review on my first time here.... but I tasted the food and it changed my mind. I will start off with the "negatives": the first being that dang speaker at the drive through, get it fixed because it's VERY loud and you can hardly understand the employee. Second, the wait in the drive through was about 10 minutes. HOWEVER, when I got home and ate my tacos they were DELICIOUS, even the shells weren't soggy like a normal Mexican restaurant. I do wish it said shredded beef as normal tacos come with ground, but I wasn't complaining at all. I also ordered a chicken quesadilla, and it came with sour cream where as you usually have to ask for it. I literally just came into this place for the first time this evening. I was the only customer in the restaurant and the COMPLETELY messed up my order. The lack of self-awareness is astonishing. I asked for no onions or cheese on my crispy tacos. They put extra. I asked for no onions on my street tacos they put extra. My friends were craving tacos and happened to hear about this place from our instructor. I was astounded by how much they gave us and how delicious everything was! I ordered 3 soft tacos; one carne asada and 2 chickens and I loved all of them. The red sauce gives a nice kick but nothing that will make you uncomfortable or sweaty. The wait time was fairly quick too. This is definitely a 2-3 sitting-sized meal; the tacos were LOADED with goodies. No shortage in the protein, guacamole, salsa, cheese; the works! The only downside was that the limes were dry and didn't seem fresh. But besides that, I'd definitely come back during my short stay here. If you're in the area, stop by! I lived on the Arizona/Mexico border for ten years and moved back home to Ohio. While I never regretted the move, I did regret the loss of delicious, genuine Mexican food. Las Piramides in Huber Heights is amazing for that as a sit down meal, but sometimes you want some quick Mexican. That's when I head to Victor's Tacos. Their food is incredibly genuine, tastes amazing, and is ready quickly. Both their pico and guac are just like being in Mexico and the marinated pork is wonderful and flavorful. For those posting reviews about the food being "bland", well, that's how they do it down there. The primary dish IS bland, with all the seasonings being added with the pico, the guac, the sauces, and such. Don't try to compare Victor's to Taco Bell. We got a few things to try (flavors) Adobada(pork) burrito Carne asada(steak) burrito Mini tacos(adobda, beef, chicken and steak) Chips and salsa Everything was really, really good. The Adobada and grilled chicken were expecially tasty. The only small downfalls... The steak was a tad dry. It was still okay. The salsa(that came with the chips) flavor was off. I'm not sure what. A great dive restaurant that is worth the drive to Fairborn! A couple of co-workers and I tried Victor's for lunch and were very pleased with our meal. You can either drive through or order at the window and there are four picnic tables outside for eating there. Between us all we tried the loaded nachos (5.99 for a TON of food!), chorizo, egg and potato breakfast burrito (breakfast is served all day!), a carnitas soft taco and a crispy beef taco. I would order everyone of these items again and couldn't pick a favorite if you asked me to. The taco shells are freshly fried and the carnitas were crispy and flavorful, unlike many you get at other similar places. Everything was inexpensive and the portions were large and plentiful. I am from Texas and truly value my Mexican food so trust me when I say this is a place I will frequent again and again! read more

AUTHENTIC MEXICAN ALERT! Oh goodness I may have found the glory hole. Authentic Mexican that is amazing, and has a drive thru?! Yes friends, it does exist. Located at the old Rally's in Fairborn, you will find Victor's Taco Shop. It is new to the area and is a huge hit. It's not like any fast food. It's definitely good food, fast. We had read good reviews of Victor's, and we always see a long line, so tonight we finally tried it. Portion sizes are big- both the chimichanga and the burrito were large enough to have half tonight and half for our lunches tomorrow. They were both packed with meat and had good flavor. The food took 20 minutes or so (four meals), but to be fair, it's made to order and they were busy. Just don't let the drive thru trick you into expecting fast food. The only things we didn't like were the hot and green sauces- they came in tiny cups and were very watery. read more
