I haven't been to this location since it was called Taco Loco, met a couple of friends here for lunch and it was fine. For me the biggest lack was the salsas. The one they serve with the chips tastes like tomato sauce. Almost like the sauce around Spaghetti O's, super bland. The green sauce they brought out tasted like nothing, water. The red sauce had some heat to it, just a touch, mixing it into the tomato sauce made it better, but the texture of this one is so thin it pours off of whatever you put it on. I got the ham & hot dog torta. Don't @me, the hotdog tortas are amazing from each place I have gotten them. I will say it was a little dry and for sure needed more toppings, it was mostly lettuce with a tiny tiny amount of tomato, avo and jalapeno. I fo really like how they split and grill the meats though and there was a generous portion of both. The quesadillas are HUGE. It is basically their burrito flattened out. Overall, not bad, not good. Service was slow, but there was only one server and she did a great job overall.

Well I'm editing my last review after my two most recent trips. Unfortunately things seem to be going down hill since switching over from Taco Loco. After my most recent visit I don't think I'll be back. Taco Loco was one of our go to lunch places at work so we decided to check Tres Hermanos out on Monday knowing they recent remodeled. Despite a new sign they still use the Taco Loco menu. We planned to split a carnitas burrito but they were out of carnitas (which I think they may no longer carry as they've been out the last three times), so we decided on the bistec guisado and a mini carne asada quesadilla. The meat in the quesadilla was small bits of beef, not what I imagined for carne asada, and very greasy and salty. The bigger disappointment was the guisado, this dish used to be my favorite a red spicy sauce with tender steak. Now though the red sauce had no flavor, no heat and the steak was very tough. It was so bad we couldn't eat it. The service also had gone down hill. Our waitress may have just been having a bad day but she seemed irritable with little requests (like more water). I'm sad to mark this place off my list but it isn't what it used to be.

Almost as good as moms cooking. Food here is delicious, great prices for the portions and service is always great. Their Chilaquiles Verdes are by far my favorite. Tacos are soooooo good too, especially with their hot red salsa. The only negative thing I have to say is the salsa used for the chips, it's not very good. Instead request their green or red salsas but only if you can handle spicy salsas.

    Cheese enchiladas! So amazing!!!!

Love this little gem! Amazing food as always! Super friendly service. No matter what I get it's always amazing. I'm a huge fan of the enchiladas, they are the best ones in Dayton!!!! If you haven tried this place you're missing out on real Mexican food!

Delicious tacos at a more than reasonable price - we're extremely filling too! The chips and salsa were amazing as well.

Think we were over charged. The food was good. I was craving guacamole and chips and decided on them because pricing seemed good.

Vallarta Mexican Seafood…read more All the vibes of a Mexican Pacific Coast restaurant. Finally persuaded my 100% Italian wife to visit Vallarta Mexican Seafood, and she loves this place. Caveat: Vallarta Mexican Seafood is several rungs above the average Tex-Mex joint in the Greater Dayton Metropolitan Area. We really enjoy Sonora Grill Seafood Steak Bar & Grill, and Vallarta Mexican Seafood merits special attention as well. On our radar: La Poblanita Mexican Market and restaurant. A note on stars; Sonora Grille is on Burkhardt, and in a small strip mall; I am not inclined to award a strip mall restaurant 5 stars; however.... Vallarta Mexican Seafoodis also in a small strip mall with plenty of free parking. Folks inclined to visit and dine at The Greene might go west to visit Vallarta Mexican Seafood. Travel Tip: do check menu Spanish definitions to avoid order errors. We can depend upon Yelp whilst researching: Here are 5 Star Reviews for Vallarta Mexican Seafood. Several of these reviews encouraged us to visit Vallarta Mexican Seafood: ...but their food is SO GOOD!! Fresh, flavorful, not your typical Mexican restaurant. Visiting from Seattle and was looking for some good authentic Mexican cuisine. Found it here! Vallarta Mexican & Seafood... a MUST try for super fresh, delicious, LARGE portion seafood! Amazing service, fantastic portion sizes, and the food was awesome! will definitely be back! Throughout our 60 year relationship, my wife enjoys dessert as an appetizer, and today is no exception. The Churro's are delivered in a flash; we discovered this special treat nearly 50 years ago during an expedition to Spain and Portugal. The very best Churro's were prepared by roadside vendors, and our friends, Bill and Ellen Rose agreed. Neat ambience, and delightful service. Music is Boomer Music.... My wife insisted on MAR Y TIERRA - Mexican Surf and Turf. Grilled chicken, steak and shrimp served with rice, charro beans, sour cream, lettuce and tomatoes - expect a togo box. My son elected QUESADILLA DE ASADA A flour tortilla filled with your choice of grilled meat, stuffed with cheese, grilled bell peppers, onions and tomatoes. Served with rice. And I selected Steak PARRILADAsteak cooked with bell peppers, tomatoes and onions. Served with rice, charro beans, lettuce, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo and flour tortillas - expect a togo box. Way too much Tilapia on the menu - we recommend to lose this fish and replace with REAL fish. My wife is Very Pleased, and she advises that we shall return

My parents come here often and I tried it for the first time tonight. Major issues. I asked if the soft serve margarita had dairy (I'm vegan) and if the beans had lard. The waitress didn't seem to understand what I asked, so she brought over another waitress. The other waitress simply said "I don't think so", I need a definite yes or no. She would not even go check or ask. I ordered the veggie fajitas. NO sour cream and NO cheese. It came with both. When I asked them to correct it, they brought out a different kind of beans containing meat (which was mixed into everything) and the fajitas even had a piece of chicken (which I can usually ignore but it genuinely felt personal). I'm not usually someone to complain. If you look at my other reviews, they are fairly positive. However this pissed me off. I would be fine if it was just a translation issue, I understand. However the number of things that occurred was unacceptable. And "I don't know" is not acceptable to someone with an actual allergy. That being said. I really did like the overall vibe in here and the robot came out and danced which was fun. But all of that did not make up for what occurred. I wish that it had been better.

I'm sure the waiter who was ignoring my table and delaying service like paying for the meal or asking if "another soda" would be something wanted, while she was spending excessive time chatting to the staff and investing her time on the phone doesn't describe all waiters, or the manager who couldn't be bothered with helping a waiter to get me a glass of soda and simply ignore my request is an off night experience.
