Service Requested: On a 2016 Forest River Travel Trailer. Needs: Awning repair and yearly maintenance. Yearly maintenance consisted of Greasing Wheel Bearing, Checking the Refrigerator Unit, AC Unit, Heating unit and changing out the Anode rod. Jesse quoted me a price and after comparing with other vendors for like services, I determined that his price was very fair. Others quoted me an hourly fee plus a trip fee. Jesse quoted a job fee. I explained that the motor in the awning had burning out on my last trip and needed to be replaced as well as the awning fabric as it had many wear spots and micro splits. The awning arms, in addition had been tweaked in the heavy rains of North California. The arms were also missing aligned from the rain. I end up replacing the whole awning roller, arms and material. Again Jesse quoted me a price which was incredible fair. It took him 3 days to complete the work as there were a couple of complications. His price never changed even though he needed to bring two other workers in to assist in getting the new awning up and mounted. Long story short, I installed a bike rack on my A-Frame which required me to unhook the batteries as well as the short-stop electrical circuits so I could mount the bike bunk onto the frame. In doing so I screwed up all the electrical components and stripped the critical wires that connect to the battery in the front of my travel trailer. I called Jesse, he was the only one out of many rv repair services that answered. Additionally, he answered right away. He was very pleasant to interact with on the phone and said he was just finishing up and would be right over. Sure enough, Jesse showed up late on a Friday night! He diagnosed the problem and determined what he would need to fix it. Jesse was able to get everything put back together, this made my family extremely happy as we did not have to cancel our upcoming trip to Pismo. Great company! This mobile service can fix many of the issues we have with RVs. They have been in business and have experience in everything on an RV. I had a fantastic fan installed, other vents replaced, roof resealed on several trailers, general maintenance the cleaning of the water heater and refrigerator it's great to have them come to you. We spoke with Jesse on 12-19-2023, regarding the inspection we paid him to conduct on our 2006 Tiffan Allegro. He did the inspection on December 11, 2023 and we paid him $350.00 to conduct the inspection. As of 12/19/2023, we still do not have the inspection sheet from him proving us with his notes and summary of the inspection. We purchased the motor home on 12/11/2023 for $80,000 cash because Jesse gave us a verbal inspection on the phone by telling us "this is a nice motor home and everything looks good". Jesse failed to turn on the water and heater that is run by the aqau hot system to check if the aqua hot system was working properly to produce hot water and to provide heat in the motor home. He admitted on the phone with me on 12/19/2023, that he briefly turned on the aqua hot system, heard it running and turned it off without testing the hot water or the heater. He sent us a text on 12-18-2023 that he was going to come to our home and look at the aqua hot system and he failed to show up or even communicate with us that he was not coming. I asked if he could come any day this week and he replied he is too busy and he is off December 27th to the 29th. However, he mentioned to us that his business is really slow right now and he doesn't have any work coming in. So is he a liar too? We would have never bought this motor home if Jesse would have done his job properly and communicated to us that the aqua hot system is not working properly! SOLD ME BAD BATTERIES I hired Jessie because I was having electrical issues with my coach and it turned out to be two dead batteries. Jessie sold me two "new" batteries and installed them. Unfortunately, the batteries only lasted about a week, and then went dead again- these were not high quality batteries. I then took the coach to an authorized service center. They pulled both batteries and ran a test, which came back as "replace batteries". Turned out that one of the batteries had a production date that was a year old! When I explained this to Jessie, he said he would replace them. He then showed up at the service center with two different batteries that when hooked up to a tester got the same message, "replace". Apparently, these were off-brand, Powerstripe batteries??, that appear to be re-conditioned. I purchased two new Interstate batteries form the service center, and everything is fine now. I was very frustrated with how much time and additional cost I had to go through to get this resolved. I am now out a lot of money because not only did I hire Jessie, but then had to take my coach to a service center after to fix the problem he created. Jessie refuses to give me a refund for the bad batteries which are now I now sitting in my garage :( Unfortunately, legal action may be the only way to resolve this, which is unfortunate. I don't like leaving poor reviews. However, this has been months coming. I have waited for a return call/text. We had over $3800 worth of work done by Jesse 9/2020. Brakes- which weeks after installment had to be replaced by another company. Awning- coming apart in the the corner. Poor installation. Roof- leaked with first major rain. Had to have a emergency RV service come to our campsite to repair. Again, we paid another company to fix his work. Curtains- were not sewn even and about 8 inches short for a "privacy" curtain. Each curtain is also off over 1.5 inches per panel from each other. So they do not line up at all. They lost our hub cap when Jesse's brother in law was sent out to check our brakes after installment. It was never placed back on after the tire was removed. It can't just fall off on its own. You must remove bolts to remove it. Those are just some of the items. I'm very disappointed. I feel that we were very patient. We reached out multiple times. I'm sad that we chose to spend our hard earned money and what we got in return was basically cheap parts and work that we have to pay double to fix. His word for his "Guarantee" is no good. Before I wrote this I reached out one last time to Jesse. It's been over a week with no reply. So, if you want to take his "quote" and double it that is what the end cost will be. read more
