A couple weeks ago we rented the Thor Siesta Sprinter to go dry camping in the White Mountains. It was a good experience. The customer service was great. We made our reservation and it was clean and ready to go when they said it would be. We got a quick rundown how everything works (this is pretty simple to operate from a touchscreen) and all our questions were answered. While camping, the engine battery died. We used the 24-hour tech line and spoke to Chance. After attempts to jump it failed, he made arrangements to send someone to us with a new battery. Since we were remote, it took a little back-and-forth but Howie found us and swapped the battery. It started right up and we were on our way only about 30 minutes later than we'd planned. On returning the rig, we did a quick walk-around and mileage check and we were done. Easy peasy. We highly recommend paying a little extra for the "Drop and Go" service. Worth every penny. Their pricing is extremely fair and we went with the GeoPro which worked very nicely with our SUV. We didn't even need to install separate brakes and it ran off our car's brakes. I felt comfortable driving the RV through cities and mountainsides. Jamie their handyman set everything up for us and went through the entire RV explaining how everything worked in detail. We were also given numbers in case anything went wrong. Their contract was very thorough which made me have full confidence in their company. We recently rented an RV from RV Rentals Outlet for a week long off the grid camping trip. Our trip was super fun, but overall, I was disappointed with the rental process. Pickup Process: This took an exceedingly long time, with most of our time sitting and waiting. The check in and walk-through process were very quick. Our suspicion is that the rental was not ready, even though we had a scheduled time. Overall RV Experience: While we really enjoyed the RV experience, our feelings about the actual RV were that the maintenance was sub par. Everything worked - just not as smoothly as we expected. Also, the rental only had ONE battery on board, which didn't last the night (even though the LAST thing we did each day was turn the generator off and the FIRST thing we did each morning was turn the generator on - I mean, who wants to listen to a generator ALL night long?) Return Process: This was probably the easiest part of the trip. The real problem here is that we returned the rental 5 days ago and have YET to receive our deposit refunded. I've called and left VM messages every other day for a status update. No response yet. read more

My first experience with a C Class was a pleasure / easy to drive. Because they only stock new model RVs milage is limited, so regional trips are best, but if you have to go over the 125 miles alloted a day their price per mile is reasonable. Tip: Be sure to know where to fill up the internal propane tank if you camp somware cold, this is your only heat source. Filling locations can be hard to find in certain locations. read more

I reserved an RV in February of this year. I paid a 200.00 security deposit. Unfortunately, our plans changed and I called to cancel. When I called in the gentleman I spoke to said they will only refund 50%. Was not happy about that but, it is what it is. I called to cancel first week of March. I have not received my refund. Great team who answered all of my questions and provided me with an excellent rental unit at a fair price for my trip to King of the Hammers. Dry camping is not recommended for 1st timers but with no hookups available in Hammertown it was the only option. The 25' travel trailer towed well behind my 1/2 ton truck and worked out great for our trip. I would suggest sway control if towing through hills or high wind areas. $40 to dump the tanks upon return was well worth avoiding the unpleasant task! They have earned my future business and referrals. PS- Following return while packing up supplies, I realized several items were accidentally forgotten in trailer's storage compartment. I was concerned that these might grow legs and wander off but 1 text after hours on a Sunday and an immediate reply later I was assured that all items would be pulled from trailer and set aside for p/up at my convenience. The coach we had was nice and clean when we picked it up and drove well. Once we started camping however we had issues with the electrical systems and had to spend some time working with RV Outlet to get it resolved. Ultimaley they sent out a local repairman who replaced the batteries and that resolved most of the issues. There were still a few electrical issues that we were able to work through and completed our trip. Once we returned the RV they offered to comp a couple days and waive the mileage overage, which I thought was huge. The pick up process was a little lengthly... but this isn't just a car you are renting. Chance and the rental staff at RV Rental Outlet are very friendly and very easy to work with. We rented a Sunseeker Class C RV for a 15-day trip from Phoenix to Yellowstone with our two dogs, and we are completely happy with our experience. We had never before rented or even driven an RV, and RV Rental Outlet prepared us in every way. When we set up the reservation and contract, RV Rental Outlet did not rush us, and they did not pressure us into getting something we didn't want or need. The rental staff took the time to go through the contract terms so that we understood them fully (including answering follow-up questions by phone and email). They also discussed rental options (we opted for the generator, bike rack, and camping table) and explained insurance options (including using our own auto insurance to cover the RV; there was also the option for mechanical/roadside assistance and pre-paid cleaning on return, and we chose to get both). There was no pressure to purchase anything additional beyond the RV rental - they wanted us to choose what was the best fit for us. When we showed up for our appointment to pick up the RV, it was ready for us and was so clean it looked brand new (it had almost 23,000 miles on it). We were given a comprehensive walk-through to allow us to become familiar with how everything worked - running the generator, hooking up the water/sewer/electric, as well as operating the slideout and appliances. Because so many items were unfamiliar to us, we took notes during this familiarization tour; the rental staff took their time, and did not rush us, giving us plenty of time to make our notes. During the trip, the RV worked like a dream. We had no mechanical difficulty with the vehicle or any of the systems whatsoever. We used the generator and the slideout many times, and had no issues with them at all. The appliances worked perfectly. We had an awesome trip! When we returned, the check-in process and inspection were quick and hassle-free. I started my rental process back in February for my trip to Burning Man in August. They were great getting all the paperwork to me I needed for my insurance and contract pages. It was easy to add additional items to my rental, like chairs and coolers, later on after the initial paperwork was done. Lance specifically was a great resource since I had never driven an RV before or even stayed in one for that matter. It was all very foreign to me, and he helped with tips and advise to make the trip easier. Everything worked great on the RV with no problems. I rented the 29 foot Coachmen. It was perfect for my needs with plenty of storage. They recommended to estimate 1 gal of gas per hour of generator use. I think our actual use came out to about 0.33 or 0.50 gal of gas per hour of generator use. read more

Where do I begin? My husband and I decided to take our two young girls (ages 4 and 6) on our first RV trip for Spring Break this year. From the moment I found their website with detailed videos of all their rentals (check them out, they are 100% true to form) to the first conversation I had with Lance to our walk-through with Jamie and our final return, the experience was top notch. We were a bit late in the game trying to book an RV and I spent some time with Lance on the phone - from our first phone call, he was extremely helpful, even helping us rearrange some things to get an RV with them (we didn't want to go with one of the mass chain rental places). As a newbie, I had a ton of questions and Lance was totally patient and helpful and went so far as to give us his cell phone number to help out. Our flight to Phoenix was late and it took us a little longer than expected to get back and Lance and his team were incredibly kind and accomodating with us. The RV itself was amazing. It was totally true to form from the videos online - it was clean, easy to operate and comfortable. Jamie did a great walk-through before we left and we were set. It was a 2013 model, clean and equipped with all the bells and whistles - TV, DVD player, generator. We rented a kitchen kit, BBQ, chairs and a table from them. Turned out we didn't need the table, but everything else was great. The kitchen kit kept us fully prepared! We weren't even done with this trip and already started planning our next RV trip. Our family rented an RV from the rental outlet to drive to Oregon from Phoenix with a few stops along the way to and from. We love not having to pull the RV for the entire trip and being able to drop it off and go. Great prices, great service. Staff does a run through on how to work everything before you leave.
