True, this was a special circumstance. But it shows the hardworking and caring people that make Cruise America what it is today, and for decades past as well. Anyone living in the PHX area, especially the East Valley, must regard Cruise America as a tactical asset. Look over their website. Book online or call. Pick up your RV. It's that easy. I did want to also point out that reviews for this Corporate location May include reviews for other locations as well. I mention that because the PHX/Mesa location is an RV buyers/renters dream. You should see their Motorhomes for sale. They're unique in the market. And gorgeous in civilian trim. All Cruise America vehicles are built to their proprietary specifications. Just sayin'.

They tried their…read morebest to help -- it was the CORPORATE decision makers and policies that are entirely unsatisfactory The first words on Cruise America's website on why a customer should choose the company are: ***Peace of Mind -- The stress-free convenience of vacationing with your room on your back allows families and friends to travel comfortably and in style*** Truly false advertising, because Cruise America's Rental Agreement details the ways in which they assume no responsibility for any of the features of the RV that would mitigate stress or enable comfort!!! Most of the Agreement details the responsibility and liability that the renter assumes, and the 772 words within sections 9 & 10 make it abundantly clear that it will not be a "stress free, convenient or comfortable" experience should anything go wrong. Even if, as in our case, problem was entirely due to Cruise America's failure to maintain the unit that caused the issue. And even though a simple solution was available (mechanic they sent to diagnose was at campsite with us & the nonfunctional generator and the part that needed to be replaced was just 20 minutes away & he was willing to install onsite) Cruise America would not authorize it to be delivered--despite my offer to pay for an Uber to pickup & deliver! Cruise America's admitted in writing that the company knows it's not true! The representative's exact words -- copied & pasted from his email response: "Our website messaging, including phrases such as "Peace of Mind" and "stress-free convenience," reflects the intended experience we strive to provide our customers. However, those statements are general marketing language and are not contractual guarantees." !!! Though we had zero use of the unit during our 7 day rental their final restitution was equal to just 1.5 days of the cost, with agreement not to claim for more. So this review is solely to warn renters that their advertising-by their own admission-is meaningless. If you want to use a/c, heater, microwave, electric outlets, charge your phone etc you'll need full hookup capability

The nicest RV camper that I've ever rented. We really loved the design, it's the perfect amount of…read morespace for us and the bunk beds are fun for the kids. This new model is so fresh and clean. But most important of all, the bed was so comfortable. Why even rent a camper if you are not going to get good sleep? The bed was spacious, cozy and had high quality sheets so we slept very well. The kitchen is fully equipped, we cooked every meal for the trip. It really feels like home after a couple nights. The host was so helpful and they provided complete guidance to keep everything running smoothly. The hardware to hook up was top of the line and made it quick and easy to get set up and pack up. TV, speaker and awning with the light were the cherry on top for entertainment. It was an amazing weekend in Sedona!

We had already figured out which camper we wanted and Tom's had one in stock here in Mesa and…read moreanother in their Prescott location so we stopped in to check it out. We worked with John R in sales and found him to be very good at communicating with us as well as negotiating a fair price to match the price of an out of state dealer. We knew we wanted to stay close to home because something is certain to go wrong and we know that you get priority service if you need repairs when you buy local. We scheduled a pick up date and they had the trailer ready, and even helped us choose and set up our new hitch and gave us some advice on towing. Gabe and his guys in service have also been great. We have had to take it in twice and they got us in and back out quickly. The only reason for the 4 star rating is that the floor was impossibly dirty when we picked it up. I have mopped it at least 20 times at the time of this writing and we may finally have it all clean. (The trailer was on the back lot and no doubt had a lot of dirty and greasy shoes walking in an out while it was out for sale).
