I had a great experience with RV Repair Bear in Manassas. I brought in my five year old Class A diesel pusher for an electrical issue. Called last week, dropped it off on Friday before the holiday weekend, and they promised to call Tuesday after diagnosing. Sure enough, they called right on time, followed up with a detailed quote, and the price for parts and labor seemed very fair. I approved it, and they had the coach fixed and ready for pickup the next afternoon. I mostly worked with Art--super helpful and friendly, and the whole staff was knowledgeable and easy to deal with. The shop parking is a little tight, but it's manageable. Overall, everything went smoothly, the repair was done quickly, and I feel confident about coming back. I'll definitely use them again and won't hesitate to call for future RV service needs. read more

ONE STAR TOO MANY!!! Those people are thieves. On the day that I supposed to pick up my RV I was told that I must pay them CASH as though their credit card machine did not work. I didn't have almost $1000 in cash so I suggested for them just to take credit card info and charge it when machine comes on line - they refused. THEY STOLE MY GENERATOR (new more than $4000 used half price). Our generator had less than 10 hours of use on it. Man that was at front desk knew that we had to leave the state that morning and took advantage of the situation to STEAL FROM US. We will report him to respectful authorities. Oh by the way they do advertise that they accept credit card payments, but apparently they just wanted my generator - CROOCS- THIEVES!!!! read more

Tried to use this shop for needed repairs to my motorhome. Red flags from the very start. Very unprofessional way to answer the phone. No ID to the business but just a first name. Have to ask if you reached the business I explained what I needed three times before I arrived with my MH. No memory of who I was and what I needed. I arrived as they asked, the shop yard is a dump! Literally a dump. Crap everywhere strewn here and there. Art was rude and behaved as if I was bothering him. I asked for one person to coordinate my work and he said he was too busy for that. He quickly went into a position of not wanting to work with me. After the look and condition of the shop and yard, his attitude toward me as a customer, the extremely poor customer service and lack of professionalism, I left and am taking my business elsewhere Do not use the shop for service or repairs to your RV read more

We attempted to ues their mobile services but was told every time that we would have to drop off the RV for service as the mobile service charge would be very high, yet they never said how much. Clearly they are not a real mobile service provider as the items that we need done are really easy for a real service company. After reading the company reviews, I now see that we dodged a real bullet. read more

I was charged $1,200 for a battery replacement and ultimately left with none of the key issues I had requested being addressed. I had just purchased a 2002 RV and brought it in for a full inspection to ensure it was travel-ready, as I was planning a trip the following weekend. I clearly explained that the generator had been giving us trouble -- it would start but shut off after running for a while -- and that this was the main concern prompting the visit. After a few days, I was contacted and told the issue was with the batteries, which needed to be replaced. I found this a bit surprising, since the generator was starting, but I trusted their professional advice and authorized the work. Unfortunately, upon picking up the RV, I discovered that the underlying issues had not been resolved. The generator still malfunctioned, and a prior mouse infestation in the generator compartment -- which I had pointed out -- had not been addressed at all. To make matters worse, the shop damaged my RV during their work. They attempted to operate the living room pop-out without releasing its travel latch, resulting in it being forcibly torn from the floor -- screws still attached to the latch, now lying on the floor. Additionally, the brakes are still squeaking, the front AC unit is still inoperable, and I was left to find all of this out en route to Virginia Beach -- in 87-degree weather with three dogs on board -- which made the experience both stressful and disappointing. I emailed the shop on Sunday evening to express my concerns and have yet to receive a response. I will be contacting my bank to dispute at least $600 of the charges, as there is no justification for $700 in labor fees when the work performed was both incomplete and in some cases damaging. read more

Needed extensive repairs on van on cross country trip. They charged exorbitantly. They put in a new toilet, but didn't do it correctly so I had to pay (again) to have it redone when I got home. Sent them a copy of their invoice and the new one and asked to be reimbursed. Never heard from them even after two letters and contacting via their website. My experience with "RV Repair Bear" was Awesome and charges were very reasonable. On my way home from purchasing my little 2018 "Travel Lite" 800X truck camper, a sheet metal panel flew off the front of the camper. This was no one's fault except maybe the manufacturer's. I had a bad experience with another local camper repair company with my old travel trailor, so I shopped around and found "RV Repair Bear". I read good reviews about them and I had to take it someplace, so I took it to "RV Repair Bear" They were friendly and courteous and very insightful in explaining how it was to be repaired. They scheduled me in and took care of the repair and I picked up the camper in excellent condition and it looked like brand new. They even threw in a free wash as the camper had a lot of road grime on it. My camper looked happy. This fall, after the repair, I went on a cross country trip in the little "Travel Lite". Coming back home, driving across Iowa, the very same panel flew off again. Needless to say, I was very disappointed, putting it mildly. For over a thousand miles I had to listen to the remaining sheet metal flapping and flexing in the wind above my head. When I returned home I called "RV Repair Bear" and told them my story. I was fully expecting a runaround and denial, having been in similar situations before with auto repair shops. Talking to Eric and Art back and forth, they told me the shop was full and I could bring it in in a couple of weeks and they would take care of it. They were very apologetic and understanding about the whole deal. There was never an argument about anything. I scheduled it in again and after inspecting it, they called me and said they would like to reinforce the substructure of the damage with more wood and screws and replace the cheap factory sheet metal with, more expensive, diamond plate sheet metal and seal it up tight. This they did. The job that they did, was way beyond my expectations and way beyond the call of their obligations to guarantee their work. They did all this at no extra charge. My camper not only looked happy again, it looked stronger. The folks at "RV Repair Bear" are truly legitimate professionals who care about their customers. It is refreshing in this day and age to know that there are still people out there who actually care about customer care. I will highly recommend "RV Repair Bear." I had such great hopes with the repair of my RV. They initialing had it from October 2022-February 2023. Art, the owner promised just like new. Went to pick it up and the winterization they did was done improperly along with a rodent infestation. The hot water tank was cracked and had to be replaced, also later during our travels we encountered other issues relating to the faulty winterization. This was one of many issues. Going to back to the initial repair it was evident that they didn't repair the issues and made things worse. With much trepidation we patched up the repairs and did a short trip only to return back to get the initial repairs done correctly. Fast forward almost 4 months later, I cannot get a return call back to the status of the repairs. I did receive a call on May 22nd from Art's wife saying the repairs would be done by the end of the month (May). Here it is July and I cannot get a response. Hopefully this ends with an amended review, but as of today I cannot recommend this shop. read more

This is a top notch service center if you're in need of RV repair. It was really difficult trying to find a place to service our RV. Most places we called didn't have appointments available for several weeks. How crazy is that! However in my quest to find a place I prayed that God would lead us to a service center that could help. My prayers were answered! We found Naked Bear RV Service Center. I was amazed because someone answered the phone. Crazy right! Several places we reached out too didn't even answer the phone. We were very impressed by the customer service we received. It was outstanding! And they fixed all our problems. As long as we have this RV Naked Bear is our go to. These guys are great. I called about a headlight issue on our diesel pusher, I dropped our rig off on a Tuesday and they had it all repaired by Friday. They had to trace some wires and found a burnt our diode that I never would have found. They called me multiple times to keep me updated and were more than fair with what they charged. I hope I don't need to go back but I'm sure I will, I am definitely using RV Repair Bear! read more

I first submitted a service request with this company through their website contact form, and never got a response. Three or four days later I called to make an appointment. I was told to call back when I received the parts I was to have installed. When I told them I already had the parts they still told me to call back a day or two before I arrived in town. I'm a full-time RV'er, was traveling to their town and wanted the install done while I was there. I called back on that Friday to let them know I'd be in town the following Monday and was once again, told to call back when I got in town; That they would not be able to come out on the day I arrived but they would definitely get me in during the week I'd be there. I called, now for the fourth time, on Monday morning. My call went to voicemail where I left my name, number and why I was calling. Not having been called back, I called again late that afternoon and was again sent to voicemail. I NEVER heard back from anyone! read more

i called them to do a prepurchase inspection new tires, brake service, hub repair and asked them to make sure a taillight that was popped off worked i was constantly told "we will have it ready in a few days" and it never was. 3 day estimate turned into 4+ weeks with only two phone calls the last week. i had to call every 3 days for them to say " call back in a few days we'll have it ready" and when i call back they wouldn't answer or be on lunch and not return calls. i was charged for a new brake system without ever telling me it needed it. Then they replaced all the lights on the trailer without telling me they all were bad or asked if i wanted them all replaced and EVERY single light either has exposed holes from the old light and or a very visible gap from the light and trailer with exposed wires. they tore out some insulation in the wall and just left it on the floor inside my trailer. the cost to ship my trailer went up 600$ because they kept giving me false completion dates. and then when im having it picked up he feels the need to tell me that they didnt take anything out of the trailer and i should make sure i trust the guy shipping the trailer..
