Got a cold brew and it was horrific. $5.75 and super bitter and dark. Don't recommend.

Pair it with a stroll through Liberty Station and you've got yourself a pleasantly eventful experience. AMBIANCE Parking: Plenty of parking around Liberty Station for the most part. Seating: A good amount of seating both indoors and outdoors with a variety of options. Great for groups, pairs, remote work, or solo coffee adventures. Vibes: Welcome to Point Loma and welcome to the iconic Liberty Station. There's plenty to do here--from shopping and exploring the grounds to grabbing a bite or simply enjoying the atmosphere. The coffee shop itself is inviting. I dig the shared space and eclectic seating arrangements. The alternative music in the background was chill, and the hum of conversation made the place feel lived in and local. Great spot to get some work done, catch up with a friend, or enjoy some alone time. Moniker blends coffee, retail, and community into one experience. The aesthetic is clean, modern, and welcoming without feeling pretentious. You'll find students, remote workers, families, military personnel, and neighborhood regulars all sharing the same space. FOOD / DRINKS Pistachio Matcha (Recommend) Oooiii! They have their signature drinks, but don't sleep on the seasonal menu. The Pistachio Matcha was excellent. I enjoyed the earthy matcha flavor, while the pistachio syrup softened some of the bitterness with a subtle nutty sweetness. The cream on top was a nice finishing touch that tied everything together. CUSTOMER SERVICE Soren was a cool dude. Friendly, quick with service, and genuinely welcoming. He went above and beyond and brought great energy to the space. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars.Good selections, reasonable prices, and an overall pleasant experience. Moniker isn't just serving coffee--it's creating a place where people gather, work, connect, and recharge. If you're exploring Liberty Station, looking for a study spot, or simply chasing a quality matcha, this place is worth the stop. TIPS * OG location * Check out the seasonal drinks

What a beautiful coffee/shop/bar here near Liberty Station market and so glad I randomly stopped…read morein! I will definitely be coming here, over and over again! In the early afternoon, this place had a line, which is a good sign. The line moved quickly but also gave me time to study their menu to see what I wanted. They specialize in Hawaiian style drinks, so I settled on a Hawaiian matcha. The guy taking me order was super sweet and friendly. I was wearing my favorite Monterey Bay Aquarium sweatshirt and he commented on how that aquarium is one of his favorites! Me too! He asked me what was my favorite thing about the aquarium and I told him the sea otters. I asked what his favorite was and he said the jellyfish exhibition and omg that was soo good! I remember being at that exhibit for awhile as the jellyfish light up and there are so many kinds and so cool to see how they move! In any case, it was so nice to talk about an aquarium we both love!! The Hawaiian matcha was great! I love that they used their Hawaiian syrup in my drink. The drink was pricey, so with oat milk substitution, and a tip, it came to $10. But, think of it this way, you are also using their beautiful facilities and you can lounge here and do work, read, spend some time here. The place is massive, with tons of seating inside (its all open space, so a nice ocean breeze keeps coming thru), and lots of seats outside too! I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I will definitely be coming back here and next time, gonna bring some work and books to read and post up here!!

They have lots of fresh pastries and breakfast options such as breakfast burritos! They also have breakfast sandwiches and lots of special drinks! I have gotten the iced mocha here and it's really good but I opted to try the white chocolate raspberry. When I first tried it, I couldn't taste the raspberry, but I stirred the syrup on the bottom in my drink then I could taste the raspberry mixed with the white chocolate SO good! I love the breakfast burritos with green salsa and any coffee drink I've tried. Service is always super friendly and welcoming. They always are happy to give suggestions and answer questions! I had really high expectations for the breakfast burrito since one of the other reviews said it was the best burrito they'd ever had but I would say it was pretty average. A little dry but with some salsa or green chile it would have been better. The tortilla was really good though. Location is great right by the harbor. No inside seating but there are tables outside. Staff was nice.
