I"m a regular customer coming every 3 weeks.Today I was serviced by the attendant in the chair at the far left as you enter. My first unsatisfactory haircut. Hair left on the base of my neck . I moved to the area and I was looking for a barber to do a neck trim weekly and hair cut monthly. Since new, I tried based in all the reviews decided to go here for a neck trim first. Yes, a neck trim only. I was charged $10 for a fricken neck trim only while hair cut is $17. It is way too expensive which means $57 per month for me. No customer service at all. When I didn't live a tip , she was staring at me. Why would I give a tip while I was charged more than was supposed to. Well, I have decided not go back there. read more

Great Place. We have lived here 4 years and have tried several shops. This by far has the best stylists and most attentive owner. I have brought my 8 year old son here as well as myself. I only get clipper cuts with finger length cut on top, and this place does it perfectly. Their english may not be the best but they know what they are doing. I have to also commend the owner Ryan. You can judge a person by how they talk to/react with kids, and he is great. No pretense or showmanship, just a caring realistic guy. Very nice barber shop for adults and kids. Visited Ryan's Barber Shop this weekend with my two sons. The furnishings are really nice, very upscale. They have two special kids seats that look like race cars that the kids can sit in while they get their haircut. There is a very nice waiting area complete with children's play area. Both of my sons received great "little kid" hair cuts. The two gentlemen working were very nice and listened to what we wanted before cutting. Prices are comparable to others in the area: $10 for a kids cut, $14 for adult. We will definitely be back! read more

I described my haircut to remain long on the top, which was about 10 cm long. This was a good length, except the weight cause the hair to flatten. I wanted to keep the length on my sides to about half as the top (5 cm). They did a pretty good job of following the description while giving me a trim. I think it's best to bring in a picture if you really want to have a certain style. The price was not that expensive for a good haircut. read more

I decided to try getting my son's hair cut at Ryan Park Barber Shop based on a few recommendations I saw on Facebook and was thoroughly disappointed. It was my 15 month old son's 3rd haircut, but first time at this barber shop. He has been great the other 2 haircuts so I figured this would one go smoothly, but the lady who cut his hair just made it awful. First, he didn't want to get in the cute car and the lady tried to comfort him, but that made it worse as he has a bit of stranger anxiety. Finally I had him sit on my lap. The lady started out with a buzzer, which he had never seen before and he was terrified of it. I had to tell her 2 or 3 times to please switch to scissors because the buzzer scared him before she finally did. He was so scared he cried through the entire haircut and toward the end, when I thought he had enough and his hair looked fine, I asked the lady to stop cutting his hair THREE TIMES before she finally listened to me. If that wasn't bad enough, she kept trying to cheer him up by touching his face, tickling him, etc which made it worse. I am his mother and when I ask you to stop touching my child, you need to STOP TOUCHING MY CHILD. His haircut looks alright but I have no idea how this lady is still working at a place that cuts kid's hair if she has no idea how to interact with scared toddlers.I figured maybe it was a fluke but other moms in my Facebook group said they've had similar experiences at Ryan Park. I will continue to drive 40 minutes out of my way to go to the place he had his hair cut the first time so we never have to have another experience like this one. read more

I have been using Ryan Park Barber shop for about 8 months (usually go about once a month). I have always been pleased with their work, the staff is very friendly, and the shop is very clean. Prices are very reasonable, and they are well equiped to cut kids hair (they have special barber chairs shaped like race cars and they play kids videos at those stations.) read more

seems like a nice place very clean and modern. However, I have been twice now in two days and have left both times due to the wait. In both cases it wasn't even that crowded it just seemed like things we not very efficient. It looks like they sometimes use the number system and sometimes not which creates confusion. I will not be going back as I have wasted time. I guess if you have nothing to do you could hang out there and it would be enjoyable but most people have to keep moving. read more

Sincerely the worst barber shop I have ever been to, let alone the worst business practice I have witnessed thus far. The nice man (I think his name was David) who cut my hair did not talk much, but was very friendly and asked me detailed questions about what style I wanted. However, the owner and the other lady that works there were conversing loudly in their language and even smoking in front of the barber shop! After having been completely turned off by this place, I left the tip to my barber and paid at the front. However, after I walked out the door, the owner (Ryan) came running after me and asking me why I didn't tip David, when I clearly did and handed it to him before paying at the front. After I told him, he turned in disbelief and angrily shouted something to the workers inside. I think this was the worst business practice I have ever experienced first-hand. Do not let the modern looks of this place fool you - service is what makes a company great, and this place is certainly NOT meeting standards of conduct. Poor management, rude customer service, and bad location. The owner shouldn't have wasted money investing in this barbershop because it is clearly not doing well, nor has any future. Avoid this place at all costs if you're looking for a decent barbershop in Ashburn. read more
