    Engagement ring + wedding band

Cindy was amazingly helpful with our custom engagement ring and I can't recommend this store enough. We knew what we wanted going in to the store, but were worried we wouldn't be able to get the details correctly on a custom ring. We showed them pictures of what we wanted and they executed everything amazingly. The best part is I saved about $2k going here rather than the online dealer I had originally found. 5 stars!

Monica was amazing! I knew what I wanted and the ring looks amazing. I loved that they respected what we wanted and were not just trying to sell us expensive Diamonds like people on other stores. Diamonds and moissanites are super overpriced in other stores but here the prices were pretty good. I cannot stop recommending Monica, she was so good to work with and got my ring in 2 weeks!

Left side: Sierra West "fixed prong"; right side: what it SHOULD have looked like.

I brought my antique-style wedding ring in for a half shank replacement due to a thin band that had cracked. They originally suggested just a solder correction, and I had to request the half shank. They took a look at the gem and suggested a prong fix for an extra $15. I figured I may as well. One week later, I picked up my ring to find it mangled. The half shank was alright, though a thicker band than was originally on, and the beautiful engraved filigree on the edges of the ring almost completely gone. I would have left 2-3 stars if that was the only work done. However, the "prong fix" was a giant glob of white gold that didn't seem to have any efforts whatsoever to shape or match it to the original ring (see photo - right side is the original ring, left side is what Sierra West did). I was handed the ring, and I immediately asked for it to be corrected. After some, "oh, I guess, we'll have him take a look," (as if the error wasn't obvious), I left the ring. However, I was sick about leaving it for fear it would only be made worse. I went back in to retrieve the ring before further work could be done, and had to go to another jeweler and pay $170 to correct the Sierra West $15 mistake. The other jeweler was baffled at the Sierra West work, and stated it took them three hours to remove the gold. The other jeweler I went to did a great job, but some of the original filigree and detail in the ring is now gone forever. I had been assured by Sierra West that their jeweler could fix the ring. Maybe that was true. But after their initial hack job, I just couldn't trust the fix to be done. Needless to say, if you have an antique-style ring, PLEASE do your due diligence before leaving it here for repairs.

I want to start by saying that I'm totally in love with my ring and the woman that helped us initially was amazing but here are the problems we ran into.. *We were told my ring would take about a month (which is fine since we are already married) but it actually took about 6-7 weeks. *Then when they recieved the ring it was incorrect & they asked us if that was "ok." Which no, I definitely want the ring that I initially paid for. *Then when my ring was corrected they realized that the 2 bands were 2 different sizes. *I also had to clean my ring as soon as I got it. This isn't a big deal but I was already so annoyed that this was just the cherry on top. It was beyond frustrating for us & I can't imagine the panic I would be in if we weren't already married & we needed it by our wedding date. For these reasons, I would never reccomend this place, unfortunately. (I'm putting in pics of the first ring they tried to give us even though it was incorrect & what my ring ended up looking like.)

Really helpful, reasonable, and great chocolates, will recommend! The rings we got were amazing!read more

We have purchased several pieces of jewelry from this jeweler over the years, including my…read moreengagement ring and wedding band, my husband's wedding band, and other jewelry. (Well over 14k) We loved my engagement ring so much that we continued coming back, and we even referred my sister, who also spent a significant amount of money here. We genuinely wanted to support this business, which is why this experience has been so disappointing. The first issue was with my wedding band. We were repeatedly promised it would arrive before our wedding, but it didn't. After being reassured multiple times that it would be here in time, it didn't arrive until after we returned from our honeymoon. While frustrating, we moved past it. The bigger disappointment has been my husband's wedding band. Before purchasing it, we specifically told Amy that durability was our biggest concern. We wanted a ring that would hold up to everyday wear, and we were assured this was a great choice, especially for the price ($500). We were even told it was durable enough that wearing it to the gym wouldn't be an issue. Within the first week, it was already scratched. After only six months of marriage, I reached out. The ring looked so worn that even the owner reached out and told us she was disappointed with how it had held up. We were told to come in and choose a different ring. When we arrived, however, Amy explained that our only options were to downgrade to a less expensive ring, purchase gold, or reorder the exact same ring. Since this was his actual wedding band and it carries so much sentimental value, we chose to reorder the same style. We were told it would take about two weeks and that it would be overnighted back to us. Two weeks passed with no update. I had to reach out myself, only to learn it had been backordered for several more weeks. No one contacted us to let us know about the delay. Although we brought the original ring in back in February, the replacement wasn't ready until May. After finally getting it back, my husband has only worn it during normal everyday life and work (he hasn't worn it to the gym this time.) Yet it is already scratched again and already looks worn after such a short time. We haven't even been married a year, and we've already gone through one replacement ring. That's incredibly frustrating for something that's supposed to last a lifetime. We also weren't offered a refund when I asked about it. Our only options were to downgrade to a less expensive ring, pay to upgrade or reorder the exact same ring that had already failed us. That didn't feel like much of a solution. The fact that a $25 Amazon ring has held up significantly better than a $500 wedding band says everything. What makes this so frustrating is that we weren't just first-time customers. We trusted this jeweler with one of the biggest purchases of our lives, continued purchasing jewelry here, and confidently referred family because we believed in the business. Instead, we've been left disappointed by the quality of the product, the repeated delays, the lack of communication, and the lack of a meaningful resolution. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I can't recommend purchasing a wedding band here. Attached is a video of the ring after 6 months. Which is suppose to be black VS when we bought it.
