    Engagement ring + wedding band

Cindy was amazingly helpful with our custom engagement ring and I can't recommend this store enough. We knew what we wanted going in to the store, but were worried we wouldn't be able to get the details correctly on a custom ring. We showed them pictures of what we wanted and they executed everything amazingly. The best part is I saved about $2k going here rather than the online dealer I had originally found. 5 stars!

Monica was amazing! I knew what I wanted and the ring looks amazing. I loved that they respected what we wanted and were not just trying to sell us expensive Diamonds like people on other stores. Diamonds and moissanites are super overpriced in other stores but here the prices were pretty good. I cannot stop recommending Monica, she was so good to work with and got my ring in 2 weeks!

Left side: Sierra West "fixed prong"; right side: what it SHOULD have looked like.

I brought my antique-style wedding ring in for a half shank replacement due to a thin band that had cracked. They originally suggested just a solder correction, and I had to request the half shank. They took a look at the gem and suggested a prong fix for an extra $15. I figured I may as well. One week later, I picked up my ring to find it mangled. The half shank was alright, though a thicker band than was originally on, and the beautiful engraved filigree on the edges of the ring almost completely gone. I would have left 2-3 stars if that was the only work done. However, the "prong fix" was a giant glob of white gold that didn't seem to have any efforts whatsoever to shape or match it to the original ring (see photo - right side is the original ring, left side is what Sierra West did). I was handed the ring, and I immediately asked for it to be corrected. After some, "oh, I guess, we'll have him take a look," (as if the error wasn't obvious), I left the ring. However, I was sick about leaving it for fear it would only be made worse. I went back in to retrieve the ring before further work could be done, and had to go to another jeweler and pay $170 to correct the Sierra West $15 mistake. The other jeweler was baffled at the Sierra West work, and stated it took them three hours to remove the gold. The other jeweler I went to did a great job, but some of the original filigree and detail in the ring is now gone forever. I had been assured by Sierra West that their jeweler could fix the ring. Maybe that was true. But after their initial hack job, I just couldn't trust the fix to be done. Needless to say, if you have an antique-style ring, PLEASE do your due diligence before leaving it here for repairs.

I want to start by saying that I'm totally in love with my ring and the woman that helped us initially was amazing but here are the problems we ran into.. *We were told my ring would take about a month (which is fine since we are already married) but it actually took about 6-7 weeks. *Then when they recieved the ring it was incorrect & they asked us if that was "ok." Which no, I definitely want the ring that I initially paid for. *Then when my ring was corrected they realized that the 2 bands were 2 different sizes. *I also had to clean my ring as soon as I got it. This isn't a big deal but I was already so annoyed that this was just the cherry on top. It was beyond frustrating for us & I can't imagine the panic I would be in if we weren't already married & we needed it by our wedding date. For these reasons, I would never reccomend this place, unfortunately. (I'm putting in pics of the first ring they tried to give us even though it was incorrect & what my ring ended up looking like.)

First, take a look at the attached image of their customer reviews. Notice a common theme: "cheap"…read moreand "quick." "Expertise" is also hinted. Therefore, imagine my understandable great dismay and dissatisfaction when I brought in a common Casio PRO TREK to have its rechargeable battery replaced. The initial associate whom I'd handed the watch and described the issues (battery not holding a charge; ABC features causing recovery mode; no beeps; etc.) to was a moron. He cluelessly inspected the watch with a puzzled look and repeatedly asked about it features and the problems, then suggesting that I should leave it overnight. My fair interrogative inquiry to the idiot: "There've been many other customers coming in here for the same thing. Why are you acting like you've never done this before!?" That was when another employee (boss or manager?) came over with an attitude. However, this one did show proper knowledge and promptly, correctly diagnosed that my Casio should get a new battery installed, BUT would cost 75 fucking dollars(!) and take a few hours. Again, "read the numerous reviews" as I suggested to the second individual, who faslely argued the rechargeable battery for my watch cost more, while also stupidly implying that in all the years the shop had been operating--with many customers visiting--no one had ever brought in a watch with a rechargeable battery. So, having enough of the bullshit from the two dumbasses, I curtly left. Subsequently, I ordered a $15 rechargeable battery online, watched a 5-minute video, and proceeded to replace the battery and reset the watch myself. No pointless, useless watch repair shop necessary.

Visited last week for a battery replacement. The worker estimated 20 minutes, so I walked around…read morethe mall and returned to find my $150 watch in pieces! I asked the worker what happened and heard, "It was already like this." It most certainly was not in pieces when I handed it to them. An older gentleman worker seemed flustered with the situation and said, "There will be no charge today." So, I don't have to pay for having my watch broken? The gentleman then asked me to return the next day to pick it up. When I returned the next day the watch had been pieced together the best they could and it was obviously not working. I asked if they could at least fix what they broke and heard, "No, we can't fix it. It's not even an expensive watch." I was handed my broken watch and the gentleman simply shrugged. I was offered no restitution or compensation. I would highly recommend NOT patronizing this business.

Then a week later I get an unexpected call that he has lost it, but will let me know if he finds it. Fast forwards 5 months he still hasn't found it and offers to buy a replacement which I was out of town for a month so l wasn't able to meet with him. Fast forwards another 1 month I finally get a call that they have found it. It's February 20th of 2024 When I get there, the first thing I was greeted with " you got the money"? I simply told him wow, you expect me to pay after 7 months! He like yeah it fixed isn't it. he showed me the replacement necklace he got me which was the cheapest necklace ever, it felt like straight plastic and wasn't even remotely close to the necklace that I took to be fixed. I told him there's no way I was gonna pay him after 7 months btw it was only $45. And once I told him that he tried to make me also pay for the replacement. I wish I got a picture because it was not anything close to the one that he lost. Since I wasn't willing to pay, he just simply cut the peace that he replaced and handed it to me and said this is the finished. So basically after 7 months I got a necklace that wasn't even fixed. The part that made me mad as I was patient and was really calm about the situation. Would definitely will never go back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
