The day before my appointment I receive a text explaining "manager rules" in these rules it explains I have to pay the rest of the balance 2 hrs prior to the appointment. I've never heard of this practice I have several tattoos. I've never paid ahead. I explained I'm driving from Portland and will be on the freeway 2 hrs ahead and that I'm not comfortable with doing that. The person goes on to tell me that I can just pay now then in so many words, then kept texting me trying to pressure me to pay. Which gave me the ick. I was at work but I took a little time to look into the shop further with some co-workers. When I got home, I texted the shop. explaining I'm not comfortable in doing what they're requesting. Also that I think this is a scam. I don't have an IG but my co-worker did finding the shop on there and a website. The website contradicts what this person was telling me, including the deposit amount and the pricing. I explained this and that the website directs you to a different tik tok than the one I was on, the person said that's their back up account. I let them know after all of this I'm not comfortable driving 6 hrs for nothing, because I don't believe they're anything but a scam. I requested my deposit back. They refused even using GOD and Karma as a reason to not refund my money and their website that they never directed me to that says their deposit policy which I reiterated that the website contradicted a lot of what they told me so that policy is also invalid. I explained then to either return my money or I'm pressing charges and filing complaints with the state board and BBB. The person taunted me saying "ok, waiting for the police" "You will regret doing this maam haha ""Waiting for your report to get to me" & "Good". Don't waste your money or time. my Co-worker sent a message to the IG for this shop as well, never heard back.

I want to preface by saying that my interaction with Will was phenomenal from the beginning until…read morethe end of my tattooing experience. I wanted to get a henna-inspired tattoo for my 31st birthday, and I quickly found that getting an artist in the area to work with me was not an easy feat. I was turned down twice before I came across Tattoo Technique (it was explained to me that a lot of artists are intimidated to do this style). Will, however, was very open and welcoming when I walked into his shop and showed him a variety of photos that I was really drawn toward, and he discussed what his ideas were that he would love to incorporate. I didn't have any set final product in my head, so anything that he could come up with that would mesh elements of what I was explaining to him had a high probability of exciting me. I gave him a $40 dollar cash deposit that day and he got to work on a sketch for me. A day or so later I checked in with him about what he came up with, and I thought his design was stunning. I came in and got the job done with him a day or so later. We conversed tons during the visit, and I appreciated his attitude and care during the visit. He properly sanitized myself and the needles, and I overall enjoyed the vibe of the shop. By the time I left, I felt like I had not only gained a fabulous tattoo that I couldn't be more pleased with, but also a new friend. Couldn't have asked for a better dude. I am certainly coming back for my next tattoo. He specializes in traditional Chinese art! My next choice is a phoenix, and I know he won't disappoint. Highly recommend.
