    Chicken sandwich
    Amber B.

This restaurant/bar is connected to the Crowne Plaza Hotel in the West Loop and its 100% worth coming to, even if you're not staying at the hotel. I had the crispy chicken sandwich with fries as well as a whisky and Diet Coke with lime. The sandwich was really good and I think what made this sandwich unique was that the chicken wasn't super thick and all over the place. It was thinned out and not overwhelming to where you feel gross after eating it. I also loved the mustard on it! I wasn't sure I'd like that, but it gave it the perfect tangy experience. The fries were also my favorite type of fries! Homemade and really crunchy. You can't go wrong with a fry like that - ha! The only thing I'd change is the glasses the drinks come in. Maybe it's because my drink was very basic but I've never been a fan of a regular class for an alcoholic beverage, I don't know why. It just doesn't feel as exciting. Other than that, everything was great. The individual who took our order was super nice too. Oh! And the wait time to get our food was pretty great as well. Didn't wait long at all.

Stopped here to grab a quick bite after arriving in Chicago. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of space to spread out and the staff was very nice and accommodating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lots of light food options for a busy travel day! I got the Mediterranean salad and it was refreshing.

This restaurant is attached to the hotel that im staying at this weekend and I was able to try their breakfast buffet as apart of my stay. It was an average breakfast buffet the pork sausage links were very good . I left satisfied and full . I'll be back on Sunday morning lol .

I went for breakfast after a night out so not the full restaurant experience. It is a large space connected to the Crown Plaza hotel. You order from the counter and they bring your food is you choose to dine in. Service was fast but I only had a bagel sandwich. It was truly a NY bagel which was very much appreciated! It was a Gouda pastrami egg sandwich and was tasty. Coffee choices were good. There is a breakfast buffet available but I did not view that. The dinner menu looks good so I may try it out for a meal should I stay at the hotel again.

Cozy and recently renovated, lowkey bar/restaurant adjoining the Crowne Plaza hotel. Staff is very friendly (ask for Ting if ordering drinks), and will validate parking for hotel parking garage with purchase of 1 item Recently popped in for lunch - house smoked turkey sandwich was delicious, greek yogurt sauce, fennel, and lemon vinaigrette add an interesting flavor combo, and fries were hot/crispy PSA: check the hours ahead of time, as they can vary, and only recently added weekends (6a-2p, I believe, currently) Cheers!

This morning I grabbed breakfast at Rye Deli and Drink. It's a cute little corner spot with a bistro feel. The inside has lots of seating, and an order-at-the-counter system where they bring food to the table. They have a variety of bagel sandwiches, bagels with toppings, regular breakfast, or a buffet. There was also a fairly extensive coffee menu for something that's not a coffee shop. When the server brought my break to the table it was not was I ordered. They apologized and quickly made me a new sandwich while checking on my coffee. Even with the mishap, the staff handled themselves well and were very kind and helpful. I had a warm salmon bagel sandwich. The taste was good, but the whole thing was extremely greasy. The dill cream cheese they used didn't taste like dill at all. I appreciated the pickled onions as a finishing touch.

This is a conveniently located restaurant in the west loop. When I went I got the Applewood hot smoked salmon breakfast sandwich. Unfortunately this sandwich fell very short of my expectations. I'm a huge fan of smoked salmon and lox bagels. However, this ended up being a cooked salmon fillet on a bagel. It was really hard to eat and the sandwich was falling apart. The fillet was just too big for the sandwich and it just didn't taste right to have fully cooked salmon with cream cheese and egg. They do have a variety of sandwiches and next time I want to try the classic lox bagel. They also have a breakfast buffet for a reasonable price because they are connected to a hotel and they give a discount for residents that live in the area.

So happy this place opened back up! This place is massive, I couldn't believe the size! Super cute! The person who helped us was very friendly. We got our food to go, it probably took about 15 minutes, I would place a pick up order next time! I got the Rueben! This was delicious, so much flavor and the bread was crispy with melty cheese. The star was the fries, I love when they are a bit bigger and crispy! I really hope they open up a dinner and drinks menu here, I would love to get a cocktail here!

I have been sleepin on this place way too much! Had mostly hit takeouts but came in post workout and got stuck the fk in and it was amazing. This is a proper cocktail bar, the bloody was perfect. Chix & Waffles and the Lox plate hit too good , this is not a true "hotel restaurant" Best brunch in the WL since Chicken & Farm packed up and bounced from SoHo. Sweet staff too, coming back more.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is cool. It definitely has a hotel restaurant feel but it's counter service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lots of options and beer on tap. Unfortunately the food was inedible. We got two of the stratas for brunch and they were so dry and chemical tasting.

We ordered the Filet Sliders and Ruben Fries- both delish!

Really great lunch place!! Convenient location in the West Loop. The sandwiches are fresh and delicious. We tired the pastrami, the Rueben and the burger. Super impressed with all of them, but the pastrami was my favorite. We also really liked the house made chips. Definitely looking forward to trying the bagels for breakfast next time!

Favorite dipping sauce included the pimento mayo, chimichurri, and garlic butter. The cheese fondue is quite rich and the bread is quite filling so maybe get as much cheese as you can on each piece of bread. The chocolate fondue, I think is actually the best course as the Belgium chocolate melts so well and has a decadent but not overly sweet flavor. It pairs well with all that is provided for dipping, which includes poundcake, rice Krispies, strawberries. All of the food was presented tastefully with meticulous attention to detail. The salad is brought out as a shared dish, which is potentially a bit awkward. Not a problem since I was dining with my husband, but I would have preferred my own salad if I was with a less familiar party. The silverware and dishes were works of art in and of themselves, but our table was scratched up considerably. My dessert was presented very creatively - although my husband's was much more straightforward. Dessert was an optional add-in, so a separate bill was brought out for this at the end. PARKING Parking on Halsted on a Saturday night can be a nightmare, and it did take a minute to find street parking. North of the 1800 block is busier because there are several restaurants within a two block radius. Side streets are permit parking after 6pm. Meters on Halsted are $2.50/hr. ATMOSPHERE Willow Room was pretty packed. We had a reservation for 8:15pm and my party of two was seated right away. The restaurant features a full bar, dim lighting and is nice and roomy. They have banquette seating around the perimeter, in addition to tables in the middle. SERVICE Our server, who was very nice and accommodating during our dining experience, came by and gave us our menu's. I had already decided on the RW menu and after review, my friend was interested in the Beef Wellington (not on RW menu). Our server informed us that normally the whole table had to order off of the RW menu if one person does, but said she would check with the kitchen since this was the last day of RW. Luckily, we were able to proceed with ordering from different menu's. FOOD I ordered a raspberry Cosmopolitan. I'm a Riesling/Moscato girlie, but I tasted the Riesling and didn't like it. RW dinner was priced at $60. I ordered: First Course: Caesar Salad (Typical salad, was good) Second Course: Mussels (Tasted fine, came with a baguette) Third Course: Short Rib (Could've been slightly more tender and better seasoned. I've definitely had better. Wouldn't order again.) Fourth Course: Orange Ricotta Donuts (Donuts were very good. Three were served, a few more would have been more filling.) My friend ordered a glass of Pinot Noir and: Truffle Fries (Fries were very tasty. I would order again if I went back.) Beef Wellington (The breading was buttery and very good. The beef could've been more seasoned. I wouldn't order.) Key Lime Pie (Was not sweet and had no taste. When our server came back and saw it was uneaten, she offered to take it off the bill. It should be removed from the menu altogether.) The busboys and server were very attentive. Our water glasses were always filled. OVERALL The atmosphere was nice, our server was great. Of all the food we ordered, I would order the truffle fries and Cosmopolitan again. I did leave full and did take my leftover Short Rib to go. Main dishes needed more seasoning. I would dine here again and try a different menu (brunch/lunch), or Happy Hour if they offer it.
