I don't know if they understand English or not but I was reluctant to go to my appointment. February 18 came around. I drove to the Choa Hair Salon. I circled around Dempster looking for the establishment wondering was this an actual place of business? I called the salon and they gave me directions. As I pulled up the sign in front of the salon was Cordia Hair salon along with Korean characters. What in the Korean hair salon?! Then we walked in and handed our Groupons to the receptionist which was also the hair stylist. My cousin and I flipped through the binder with magazine clippings to get an idea on what we want. She pointed to a honey blonde color and the lady told us that she can only dye our hair a dark color because our hair was long and it won't cover my cousin's "gray hair". I told her our Groupon stated Coloring/Highlighting. She explained she won't honor it because they will only dye it dark and we had long hair. It didn't state anything like that on our Groupon! The end result was TERRIBLE. My cousin's hair was tri-colored (honey blonde on top and red all over with black spots) My hair, was fine. Although, you can't even tell I got my hair dyed as it was just a brown color and 4 strands of highlighted hair. Bad service. Won't honor Groupon. Not worth saving the $30. Go somewhere else.

I go for balayages as it is able to give me a break for going to the salon often and I was overdue in getting my hair done. I was able to make an appointment days after Christmas and her responsiveness is the reason I came back. She was able to analyze what was the best method to go about and fix the prior hair situation that I had going on without the long extensive process that I was used too. So many compliments from family and friends and the hair still looks amazing and soft despite the bleach!
