Updated Review: I originally thought it was a good deal based on where I was looking for and upgrade based on my credit but be wary and get a mechanic to inspect any of their vehicles. I purchased this car at 56000 miles and had to replace the clutch within 4 months and less than 4000 miles added. I called in and the dealer rep let me know that's a wear and tear as they "they do not know" my driving habits so I paid the repair to avoid fuss. $2100 to fix. At 67000 miles the engine blew and cost $10000 to repair all the damage and their extended warranty service went above and beyond to avoid paying anything and look for any reason to void your contract. So I ended up dishing out 7000 for those repairs, again the dealer reps proceed to tell me there's nothing they can do. Now at 76000 miles the springs and steering parts are needed at the cost of an additional 3000 dollars because they suspect this car was abused and/or crashed by the prior owner along with after market parts that were not disclosed when purchasing. This car is valued at 9000 and the repairs up to date are over 15000 not including the monthly payment or insurance. All under 20k miles and a little over 2 years since owning this vehicle. Everyone looking to purchase a car from this dealer be wary and take a mechanic for and inspection so you don't end up in a worse situation economically. read more

Walked in, asked to see the car. A 2016 Mercedes C450 RED. As soon as we're in, not even greeted. A not even a "Hi, Hello, how can we help You today?" Only Asked "Do you have an appointment" We stated "no we do not but we do know which car we came to look at". We go over to look at the car. We did go over the CARFAX. as the car has a previous front end "MINOR" Accident. It seemed more than minor. Going up to the car, you see bad orange peel, overspray on the front of the hood as an attempt to do a blend from the bumper to hood for the color match since the bumper was either repaired, replaced (which I doubt) and repainted. FISH EYE ALL OVER THE BUMPER, a clear sign of contamination in the paint refinish of the car (since the front bumper was repainted), SUPER STRONG smoker smell, even then WE STILL made an offer. We spoke to the gentleman at the back left of the show room. He didn't even get up to shake our hands for gods sake. Very unprofessional view on that. We did state that WE ARE READY TO PURCHASE, pre approved with our bank. As soon as we stated our offer, ( We offered $20k out the door. The cars price online is $20k), he rudely stated and told us to go buy a car at the auction. For lords sake THAT MERCEDES LOOKED LIKE IT WAS PAINTED IN THE BACK BUILDING OF AN AUCTION. Over a month ago, I arranged to buy a car on line and through emails and texts. Sent them $7000 cash by wire, followed up with lender's check for the balance by Express Mail. They thought the check was a fraud (it wasn't), but did not call me to discuss. They did not even try to deposit until I called and yelled a lot a week later. Finally they deposited check, but did not follow up. It of course cleared, which they verified another week later when I called. Promised to arrange shipping within 2-3 days. Instead I got a call from Hector saying they needed ink signatures on some documents, promised to send them FedEx. Five days later, no documents, no car, and no contact from them, but they are still holding over $22,000 of my money. I called again today, no response. 1-Star Review I bought a Tesla Model X from this dealership just 4 days ago, and it's already been a nightmare. The vehicle was advertised as having Full Self-Driving capabilities -- a big reason I made the purchase -- but that was completely false. After speaking with Tesla directly, I found out I would have to pay separately to activate that feature. This was a misleading and dishonest sale. To make matters worse, the main center monitor glitches and shuts off even while driving, which is a serious safety hazard. The passenger seat also makes a loud squeaking noise when adjusting -- Tesla confirmed it needs a new motor. I called and spoke to the manager, Hector, who said he would return my call. It's been 4 days, I've called every day, and now he's ignoring my calls entirely -- even going as far as blocking me from his personal number. I've been nothing but respectful to him and his staff, yet now they're being rude and unprofessional. They treat you well until the sale is complete, then you're left on your own. When they first send you a quote they throw $4000 on top of their listed price for ceramic coating and 3M film. They said it's automatic because they do that for all their cars. I just got a scratch on my bumper from a rock that tells me there is no 3M film on it. In the end I haggled the $4000 down to $3000. But that just means I paid $1000 over their sticker price for no reason. read more

Well, everyone told me not to trust car dealerships, but I made a mistake trusting those people buying the Acura after I watched the video on their website and reading all the cool things about it. It was advertised for $13,500. They ended up with $18.200. They said they had some fancy upgrades they did on the car... The guy delivered the car (as they promised, for free, just the tip), and I gave him a check for more than 18 K (they didn't give me a penny discount for paying cash). So, I don't know what fancy upgrades they did (and in the video, the car really looked like new), but it even arrived a nasty dirty belt, small cracks on the windshield that spread after a couple rides, and not even 1 car mat inside! Then I noticed some stuff hanging from under the car in 2 places. The splash shield was torn. Good grief, what fancy updates did they charge me for? When I went to the mechanic, they said I had to change the whole thing because it was too big and already cut and fixed sloppily, so it wasn't me. It was expensive. I called the dealership, the person who sold me the car, and... No one was ever available or returned my call. When I left the message that I was calling the last time, the manager finally called me. He said to go evaluate and let him know how much it would be. Anyway, we decided to fix it ourselves as Orange is a long drive from us and we didn't want to deal with them. Than a goose chase about car mats started! Again, no calls back, saying that they have them in the back, promised to mail them. The car should have Acura mats, and they are expensive. Finally, they mailed me some cheap mats of unknown origin which don't even fit! So, now I have to spend extra $200-300 for the mats or drive without them. I can't believe they are BBB certified, I am thinking to file a complain just because all this experience left me feel very disrespected. read more

I will start by saying that I did not want to have to write this review, and gave SoCal Preowned every opportunity possible to avoid this. At the beginning of the year I began searching for a very specific car, that being a 2016 or older Model S with a sunroof in all black. So Cal preowned happened to have this exact car in the form a 2015 Model S 85. Upon seeing the listing I called and scheduled a test drive, knowing that if everything was as listed, I would likely buy the vehicle, as it is a very hard one to find. I met Mario, who was kind, but certainly did have many concrete answers. He more of a yes guy trying to get the sale. After the test drive I concluded that the car had some issues, mainly that sunroof did not work properly, there was some odd adhesive on the dashboard no one bothered to clean up, the tail light was out, there was excessive road noise, and a blinker malfunction. However, non of this was enough to not get the car if the deal was right. Now the deal, is laughable. Mario came out with a little piece paper, and all it had on it was what my monthly payment would be. I did openly laugh. Where's fine print? How is this breaking down? Why is it so high? As everyone here seems to know, they tack on a $4,000 fee to the list price automatically for some special kind of coating to the paint. When asked about this Mario's response was "Well would you have come to check out the car if it was $4,000 higher?" No sales person should ever say this. They also tried to sell me on a 11% interest rate. Luckily I knew exactly what I needed to pay monthly, what interest rate I needed, and how long I wanted that term to be. After much back and forth and numerous walk outs, they gave me exactly what I asked for in the first place. Lesson here, this place could be fine as long as you know exactly what you want to buy and what you want to pay and stand firm until you get it. I had it written into the contract that they would address the issues with the car as part of the deal. This was a nightmare. Knowing I had a trip coming up I took the car for a few weeks and then scheduled to bring it back in just before my trip. Mario greeted me and I went over all of the things that needed to be addressed. He assured me they would all be taken care of, yet he wrote nothing down. I said "are you sure you got all of the items?" Since it's a Tesla, I watch it through the app just sit on the lot for basically two weeks. Then when I returned the car still was not ready. After a lot of non answers and misinformation, they told me they were waiting on specific part for the sunroof. All together they had the car for over a month. That's a month of me paying on vehicle that I can't drive, and having to work around not having a car. Once I picked the car up the sunroof did work, but nothing else had been address. The adhesive hadn't even been removed. I wiped it once to goo gone and it came off. How hard would that have been to address? The tail light was still out. Blinker, road noise, etc... After mentioning this Hector told me to take it Tesla and send him the invoice, that he would reimburse the repair. So I did, and sent the $1,300 invoice immediately. Now it has been two months and no reimbursement. Not only that but every time I called I was promised a call back. To date, I have never been called back once. This place has very shady business practices. And while everyone I dealt with was kind, they ultimately lost a potential repeat customer, and garnered this review, over many little items that could have been easily addresses. Even if someone told me "Hey this invoice is larger than we expected, we can only cover x?" That would have been something, but to just ignore a customer, it's unacceptable. read more

I get a letter in the mail saying the dealer never funded the warranty company therefore my warranty was never active and have been paying interest ever since. I have been in numerous times HECTOR tells me to come back to meet with him and the finance manager to get me a new warranty and refund all money owed as this is contract FRAUD. I then go back in and the finance manager is no where to be seen and Hector says he can't provide me a warranty which is the only reason I bought this vehicle. The owner or finance manager needs to contact me asap or else I will have to move forward with a my lawyer. Mind you my key isn't even the original key and doesn't even have a cut key and have gotten locked out of my car and was told "why did you wait so long" sir if you guys couldn't even take care of the tires when I took it and I was there all day what makes you think I'm going to be driving back and forth and get the run around. The car was due for an oil change that some month 7/2024 which I took care of the tires were from 2017 I called the dealership drive 2 hours only to find out they were only changing 2 tires.... When I told to go back for the other 2 had one of the tire pop while I was on the freeway! My check engine light was turning on and off since the moment I bought (my 2 screens need to be replaced + a misfire+ white smoke from the exhaust) the car I was told again to take the car was there for over 3 hours only to be told "the air was released from the system" okay I asked for paperwork documentation was told "the mechanics don't write reports" okay so what was billed ? because I now took the car to a REAL mechanic and it has a bunch of issues and I've only put about 9k miles. Another thing I was told the car came with warranty for 24k miles or 2 years come to find out I'm paying 3k for the car was priced at 19k and after all the paper work 30k ??????? When I mention I need an alignment I was told "HOW DO YOU KNOW" I was because the car doesn't drive straight...... then was told "it needs an alignment after it gets tires changed" mind you my tires are from 2017 it's not rocket science it obviously needs new tires and an alignment. At this point it would be nice to speak to the owner not the Manager HECTOR since nothing ever gets resolved. Moral of the story sad to say I do NOT recommend this place.
