Of course you cannot reach them by phone to question anything so here's my review. No way 3 scoops of custard & toppings were there. I would love to give this 5 stars, but only one location is open all year apparently, and i didn't know that. I was traveling through High Ridge and it was closed so Arnold it was, I live in Fenton so it's not like it was that far of a drive. I stopped by today for my daughter and there was a young female working by herself it looked like. My daughter loved her and she was extremely helpful, hyping my daughter up about her choice of toppings for whatever Ice cream thing she got. Anyway, the young lady was amazing and I'm glad she was there, my kid had a better day after that, definitely a nicer experience than my other stops there, not that they were bad, this young lady just seemed more pleasant. read more

Went to the High Ridge location. Must of been a broken ice machine. I purchased a snowcone that was melted to nothing and what ice it did have was huge diamond chunks. When i ordered the Mounds snowcone the worker had no idea what i was talking about. it was on the board. I stayed and "drank" my snowcone at a table, i needed a straw it was that bad. the whole time i was there, the workers banged on machine and yelled at each other while throwing ice out the back door. horrible waste of my time and money. why is it so hard to get a damn snowcone right in missouri? read more

I really like the style of ice they provide as well, a downfall to this style of ice is that it melts very quickly even when the temperature isn't too hot. Always has been my favorite, because I grew up in Fenton and it's been around since I was a kid. This afternoon, we ventured out with the pups for some ice cream (they each get their own kiddie cup of custard). Since it was one of the first cooler days, we didn't have to wait in line. My #1 is cookie dough concrete....I love that it has tiny pieces instead of huge chunks. They have very good fruit flavored concretes as well. Doesn't taste like the frozen fruit syrups. Bf got a strawberry malt, which he always says is delicious. Doggies give it 4 paws up. read more

Went here a few days ago after reading their excellent reviews on Yelp. We just moved to the Oakville area from Illinois and was interested in finding a great local business to satisfy our cravings for custard. Our grandkids love snow cones, so the decision was an easy one. We were pleasantly surprised both by the selection, product quality and especially the reasonable prices. There were 3 adults, a teenager, a 5 year old and three Golden-doodles and for $16.00 we were all treated and happy we had made our first visit. If you are traveling on I55 between Arnold and Barnhart, MO, -- i.e., just south of St. Louis -- then this is your must-stop-here place! Even if the thermometer does not quite hit the 107 degree mark in your rental car, as it did for me, then this still is worth it for an indulgent treat and a taste of Americana. While visiting HOT St. Louis, a rich, yummy custard cup treat was a must and cooled me down in the Independence Day heat. I stuck to the creamy rich chocolate peanut butter custard concrete: it was decadent and yummy in the heat. SO WORTH IT. I smiled when the window clerk stated her mom had no idea about Yelp.com. And, I wanted to buy two concretes when I heard her explanation of the selection, but my figure stated eat only one! On this occasion, I sought refuge in the AC of my rental car. To me, it was shameful to waste the fresh air experience, but it was just too hot. I love a good Americana Drive-in experience and you will find it here. But, before you stop you should be aware of things to plan around. On other trips, previously, I had stopped here and did not gather up the fresh air for other reasons. The some of the parking lot and seating area has gravel not pavement. For my purposes with my uncle (age 86 at the time), this was less than ideal because he was and is wheelchair bound. Also, though the area is at the base of a good-sized hill, the eating area before sunset is not shaded. This adds to the heat factor of sitting outside along-side the highway. On that trip, my mother (age 74) really enjoyed her custard concrete in the car as well. Though I might opt for a more solid and chunky peanut butter mix-in, to cut the sweetness of the custard, it was still a great HEAT RELIEF experience. And, on my next trip to Liguori, MO., I will venture to try their fresh fruit concretes. There will be a next time... So... what's the reason for my "five stars" given my comments? Well, it is refreshing to see a "Mom and Pop" drive-in shop like this business. With the daughter at the window, it is a gem of a place that needs to be supported by locals. I promise to do my part when I am in the St. Louis area. read more

Typically we absolutely love coming here for a little treat . . . Tonight unfortunately was a bit of a disappointment. We always order Mini Snowcones and it's just the right size with a great 'cone'. Tonight all three of our cups where not even filled 3/4 and there was no 'cone' at all. There was a fair amount of people there and everyone's Mini ones looked all the same. The staff to night was very rude and just plain mean to some customers. Tonight's experience was not typical but it may deter us from coming back in a while. read more

If you love Snow cones go here! It's a really good place to take the kids and many flavors to choose from! "IF" however, you are craving ice cream...skip it! Seriously! Don't come here for concretes or shakes, because you will be charged an arm and a leg! I'm not a disgruntled customer, this is just factual information. They have a mini-sized concrete and I thought that would be to small...hence the mini, like for a sample or small child. So, I ordered the small $3.10 and they served it in a cup that is slightly and I mean slightly larger than a Dixie cup! The large milkshake was in a standard styrofoam cup and it was $6! To top it off, the concrete was average at best! The 3 star rating is simply because of the snow cones, if it wasn't for that I would have put a 1 star rating. read more
