My family and I went on a Saturday afternoon with no wait. Their service was top notch and delivered us our ice cream outside. I ordered the Old fashion ice cream and it was 10 out of 10 on taste. I will say their cookies and cream ice cream was the best! It was cool to watch them using the nitro when making our ice cream.

I got the rocky road in a cone with no cashews and it was delicious! The ice cream is super creamy and there was a good amount of toppings mixed in! They didn't have my favorite topping which is cookie dough but that's ok. Service was super nice and helpful. They were happy to let us customize a bit and were very quick at making it. Inside of the shop was cute and they also have nice outdoor seating.

Amazing nitro ice cream made to order. I had the chocolate peanut butter, which was filled with actual peanut butter. Very rich, flavorful ice cream. Only negative is the "regular" size for $7 was huge, I could only eat half of it. Would be nice if they had a small. But maybe that doesn't make sense since they hand make each order. I would just recommend splitting one if you don't want a huge portion.

Staff is super friendly and the whole experience is delightful. Always try the rotating seasonsonal flavors! Never been disappointed here.

Love this place in 2024 had to come back when I was in town. Had a cherry chocolate amaretto nitro I cream and it's still worth the $12.00. they accepted credit card and made to order. Only waited around 10 minutes because the place was busy but the staff was hustling. Still a cool spot in my book.

Big fan of Ices! The fun blue and pink colors on the building really lend a sense of whimsy to the ambiance. I am based in the Shaw neighborhood so the location is also great...quick walk down the street and delicious ice cream is served! Things to note: it is on the slightly pricey side for ice cream but the serving is a good size, whether you go regular or large. The regular size is plenty (although you will probably wish you had more once you finish it because it is so good!) They make the ice cream on the spot and the process gives it a softer serve texture which I like. It can take a little longer to get too since they make it right then and there so keep that in mind. While I haven't tried it, they also offer boozy ice cream which can be a fun twist for your dessert if that is your thing.

Alex, Heather and the grandkids enjoyed "Ice Cream for Breakfast" this morning. Ices delivery of this annual ice cream extravaganza was over the top. I had the French Toast and Alex had the Honey Grahams. Heather enjoyed the Orange Mimosa. The French toast was something to write home about with a piece of crispy on the outside and custard on the inside experience. The ice cream was super delicious. Ices was staffed up for the event and much to my surprise, they handled the line licitly split. The staff was super helpful and nice despite the overwhelming crowd. Love the whimsical ambiance at Ices. Wish you had more coconut milk options for Jeff who doesn't eat dairy or soy.

The last time I was here probably 8-9 years ago. Perhaps, I forgot about this place since it's kinda out of my way. We stopped by for some sweet treat Friday when we were in the area. I still think it's pretty cool to see they are making icecream in front of you using liquid nitrogen. I was also surprised that they had a very good Non Dairy menu. I was so tempting to get the boozy nitro ice cream but then I decided to save it for another day. I ended up getting German chocolate (non dairy) and Salted Dulce de leche. I liked the Salted Dulce de leche more, it was very creamy and tasted delicious but at the same time kinda sweet for my liking. I want to try their soy vanilla next time - it sounds interesting. Service was friendly and fast.

I came near opening on a Friday, Christmastime. The store was empty, yet hardly felt that way. The atmosphere inside was warm and cozy -- string lights adorned the windows, peppy Christmas music on the radio. Heart-shaped wire chairs and marble tabletops, just the most picturesque little ice cream shop. I got the S'mores, a holiday special. Not sure how they did it, and I don't know the magic behind nitro ice cream, but it genuinely tasted like it came right off the campfire. I've never had a S'mores-flavored dessert capture that smoky flavor before. I sat by the windows -- Ice's sits at the corner of 39th and Shenandoah, and I got to witness a bit of the Christmas magic happening right outside in the beautiful Shaw neighborhood. I will absolutely be returning again and again!

Their website only lists 7 dairy flavors. Is that all they have? I don't want non-dairy or boozy. Thanks!

They have the seven dairy flavors ALL the time. Then they have a rotation of specials. Usually 3-5 of them at any one time.

It definitely lives up to the hype in terms of popularity--the place was packed even at 10:30 PM, but the line moved quickly thanks to their efficient service. The concept is simple: the custard starts with a vanilla base, and you can customize it with a variety of toppings. They also offer a few other flavor options, so there's plenty to choose from. We tried a couple of different custards, and while they were good, I honestly didn't find them as exceptional as I expected given all the buzz. The flavors were enjoyable, but I felt they were a bit overpriced for what you get compared to other frozen dessert shops. One thing that surprised me was how quickly the custard started to melt, even before I had eaten much of it. Overall, it's worth trying if you're visiting St. Louis since it's such an iconic local spot, but for me, it didn't quite live up to the hype. It may be a beloved hometown favorite, but I'm not sure it's a must-visit destination for everyone.

Honestly that's what sold us! Arrived and promptly ordered that dessert and the carrot cake. Then the server told us of their "to die for" tiramisu and my partner immediately said yes. WOW let me tell you from a first hand experience two people do NOT need three desserts. Cyrano's gives you AMAZING portions. Just one would have been enough lol. Anyways, the carrot cake was my favorite. It was so big I had enough to take home! The tiramisu was good but it was being overpowered by the carrot cake that evening. As for the brain chemistry altering bread pudding.... That google review was 100% correct. It was delicious. 10/10. No notes. Please order it if you go to Cyrano's. We came in on a Friday evening, a little before 8, and decided to sit at the bar. We didn't get home until 10:30. And we live 10 minutes away. Two and a half hours. The bartender was great, very sweet, and was super apologetic. She made us fantastic drinks all night. And I will say, the food was incredible. But it took almost an hour to get just our salads out. And then another hour to get our main. A gentleman behind us came in at 9PM and was gone by 10PM. I'm not sure if our ticket got lost or what, but it was a very odd experience for us. We shared a few things and I will say, they split the plates for us and it was awesome. I was a big fan of the food in general. But my complaint the first time here was timing of service, and looks like it's a continuous issue for them. It's a bummer because I would love to come back, and maybe if we're not starving and in the mood for a long drawn out meal, we'll come back, but definitely not going to be a regular spot for us.

It allows people to gather eat a sweet treat and have general conversation conversations where you can actually hear one another. They do have outside seating too. The chocolate cake was soft and as a non-cake lover I found this very delicious. Definitely worthy of sharing. I ordered a quiche to go. I had mentioned they didn't have the spinach feta pastry that I had before. The gentleman stated we have some in the back, I'm happy to get you one. So I ordered that too. I'd attend such a meeting, but more so for the lulz (but also to share my beliefs). I'm pleased to report that there's none of that going on here, that I'm aware of. Granted, this was a Sunday morning. I was there with my running group as part of our ongoing unofficial breakfast burrito tour, the last such stop until this fall, due to upcoming marathon training. Of course it was the most unpleasant day of the year, maybe ever, with a heat index of 117 (no hyperbole). I changed shirts before I came in and then sweated through that shirt as well. One of the ladies I was with left a gross pool of sweat in her chair after she left. It didn't occur to me to pull a Charlamagne tha God until hours later. I'm growing as a human being. Part of that growth is gradually coming to realize that seasonal lattes, unless they have sort of especially distinct flavor, like banana, aren't going to taste like anything other generic artificial sweetener, let alone what they purport to be. I considered ordering an iced caramel latte, but I figured what the heck. I went with something called a Miso Brown Sugar Latte. It was good for what it was, but I don't know that anyone, if you gave it to them to try, could identify it as that. I liked the fact that it had a somewhat more pronounced coffee flavor, compared to some places where it mostly just tastes like a glass of milk. I wasn't as crazy about the fact that it took a while for the ice cubes to cool it down, probably longer than it would have taken if it were served in a glass cup. I went with something called the Annex Burrito, which I didn't realize until after I ordered it is not the only burrito they carry. I guess you can also get a bog-standard breakfast burrito with bacon, eggs and cheese. This one comes with corn, beans and some sort of unidentified crema for the same amount. Maybe they give you less bacon. Mine didn't have a lot of bacon, but the bacon it did have was not crisp and had a precooked vibe. The latter was more of an issue for me than the former. I'm a savage in that way. I did appreciate the fact that it was griddled, possibly using a panini press. The exterior was ever so slightly crisp, while the interior was pizza roll-level molten. The overall vibe was similar to those microwave burritos they used to carry at 7-11, but in a good way. All I needed was a mini truck enthusiast magazine filled with photos of bikini-clad Latinas and a Windex-blue Slurpee, but I was able to make do with a lukewarm mystery latte and the old ladies I run with. I'm resourceful.
