The business owner is active in helping out in the community and even allowed my Girl Scouts a little tour and complementary ice cream a couple of years ago. We try to support this local business whenever we can. The wooden games (tic-tac-toe, Connect Four) on the tables in the seating area are a nice touch and make the atmosphere inviting and family-friendly. It helps to walk to and from the shop on a nice day as a reward for the kids. :)

The create your own flavors were good too, but I wished there was more to them - i.e. a cinnamon swirl in with the roll pieces or extra glaze swirled into the ice cream. Something like that. It's pretty PRICEY ice cream. $25 for 2 pints but it also depends on the type of ice cream. I'm sure pricing will be different when they have a storefront. The company is local and the folks running it are really nice, motivated and creative. They also care about STL and helping revitalize the Crestwood area. Can't wait til they open a shop.

If you want the perfect sno-cone, go here. They literally soak your sno-cone in juice. Literally...it's dripping with sugary goodness. And how good is their flavor selection??? It covers the side of the sno-cone hut. They also pile the ice on...and it's perfect ice. Smooth, no chunks...it's amazing. And....it's cheap! My child ordered a regular root beer float, but after trying it, he really didn't like it. We politely asked if we could swap it for a small single-flavor sundae instead, and the employee told us no and was pretty rude about it. We even asked the manager, and they also refused to help. I understand places have policies, but a small customer service gesture would have gone a long way, especially for a first-time visit with kids. Instead, we left disappointed and won't be going back or recommending this location. Hope this helps anyone considering spending money here.
