I actually never signed up with S&R Insurnace directly. I was with another southern california local agent that sold my policy to S&R. Firstly, I was never made aware of this. So came as a suprise when I went to contact my agent. Everytime I needed a change with the previous insurance agency I could just shoot them over an email with whatever documents I needed and get it handled. S&R you have to call, wait on hold, and when you do finally get ahold of the agent they act like you're inconviencing their day. It is just attitude everytime. I asked for a quote to add a vehicle and instead of being provided the quote they just add a vehicle to my policy. This is without my concent, approval, signature, nothing. When telling them to remove it as I was just asking for a quote, they removed it but it caused my premium to go up!! This was done with a classic car and I asked for a quote on $15,000 worth of coverage. They said they would get back to me with a quote because a classic car with a declared value are a different process. I then got an email stating the classic car was added to my policy at a $9,000 declared value. So not only added a vehicle to my policy without my approval but it wasnt even the amount I asked for. Not to mention like 5x the price of another quote I already have received, which that included the full $15,000 desired. Super unprofessional. I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

I just wanted to say I had the most Pleasant and helpful experience with your young lady associate named Monique Mendiola . I went to the DMV to find out that my insurance was canceled from a payment that I somehow missed. I had called and was told by another associate that I would be receiving a call back to see if there was a renewal extension possible and needless to say I never received the call back. After I called back 2 hours later I was helped out by Monique Mendiola and let me tell you she was extremely helpful and caring scene that I was stressed out about having my insurance canceled and she went above and beyond to make things reassuring and pretty much help me write a new policy for just a few dollars over what I was paying previously with a step by step and patient walkthrough for my new policy write-up . I just want to to let you know that this young lady needs some kind of a raise as many agents will not go through all this to help somebody out and I'm glad that there are still people out there that will take their time to genuinely help you out so thank you very much Monique for all your help !! read more

Our experience was a nightmare to say the least. Office staff screamed and yelled at me on one call. And finally, the straw that broke the camel's back, Tommy our sales agent and his staff kept us hanging with paying for a homeowner's policy that had been canceled. We ended up contacting our mortgage company and canceling the policy ourselves. This cost is over $600 that we probably will never see again. if I could choose zero stars I would. Working with S&R insurance has been quite literally the worst fucking experience of my life. i signed up for a payment plan option for general liability insurance I put down a down payment of $788 with a remaining balance of $547. I would pay $54 a month until the $547 is paid off. the first month I was supposed to be charged $54, they charged me $547. I had to wait 24 days before they refunded me (only after I said I would report the transaction to the bank did they issue a refund the next day). during the time I waited for my refund, the company tried to bill me TWICE for the monthly payments. tell me... how the FUCK am I supposed to make the mo they payments when YOU HAVE ALL MY MONEY. by the time I got my refund back, they had cancelled my policy because of "nonpayment". But... you had all my money so how did I not pay... ON TOP OF ALL OF THIS. they refuse to give me any refund for the down payment because I chose to leave the policy cancelled after all this BULLSHIT. in fact... they are trying to charge me MORE. they said that just because the policy has been cancelled, I still am responsible for paying off the loan. They are now threatening to send me to collections for not paying off the rest of the loan. Words cannot describe how fucking awful this whole experience has been. read more

I just want to give Sergio a shoutout. Stupid AAA never told us they canceled our homeowner's insurance. They never even told us, I literally found out by accident that our homeowner's insurance had lapsed, during FIRE SEASON in Riverside, and we literally just bought this house and hadn't even finished moving in yet. Like I said, STUPID AAA!!! In a panic, I called our mortgage broker, and he referred me to Fabian. I left a message first thing the next morning. Fabian then sent me over to Sergio. Sergio was extremely nice and understanding, he was professional and knowledgeable, and by the end of that phone call, he had found us an insurance company that would give us homeowner's insurance starting that very day. Not only THAT, he more than doubled our coverage on our vehicles AND our home and it was the exact same price as what we had with AAA. And AAA had our Homeowner's Insurance deductible set at $43,000!!!!! Our new insurance policy has a deductible of $1000. Sergio was also very knowledgeable on how to deal with my mortgage company. Mortgage lenders frown upon homeowner's with no homeowner's insurance. It's sort of a requirement.... Sergio was able to put me at ease -- because I was for sure panicking -- he put me at ease telling me exactly what to do with my refund check from AAA and that he would notify my mortgage lender of my policy changes. We ended up canceling our insurance with AAA because Sergio was able to find us better coverage at the same price. I would definitely recommend this agency. read more

His help getting my son, a new driver, get the insurance he needed for a new car he worked hard for, was so helpful. I don't recommend this place as apparently the customer it is always wrong and there is always time to answer customers phone call, but yours. i got Charged double for 509 dollars and they offered me first to just have my mother give me the money since my mother was in the policy instead of giving me the money back since they charged me double and i am not renewing. They never followed up as they said they confused my name and phone number with other customer on top that when i called they don't let you talk as they keep talking and talking. I had to file a charge back with my bank because the refund never got to me as they say i was going to get it, but again according to them nothing matters and customer is always wrong. read more
