After being an Allstate customer for over 50 years, and having Doug Moore as agent for 20, find it very unprofessional not being informed I was given another agent. Customer service??? My doctor and dentist gave me advanced warning of the impending retirements and facilitated the transition. In the last couple of years no personal service, other than generic emails have been provided. No welcome or acknowledgement from Nathan Giddings as well. Perhaps old style personal customer service is a thing of the past. It appears to be about money. read more

Seemed to be a good company, we've been paying renters insurance and my wife's life insurance for over 15 years with no issue until we tried to make a claim. We had a entertainment console that was subject to water damage. When we tried to make a claim the initial call went well, things went south once the adjuster came into the picture. He was condescending and would hardly even listen how the furniture was damaged. The damage was caused by a water leak in the wall that lead to mold in/on the wall that spread to the entertainment console. We were told that it had to be caused by a "sudden rush of water". Sounds like an insurance company that doesn't want to hold up its end of the deal to me. I would suggest avoiding this company if you ever expect to make a claim. NOTE : This the only claim we made in 15 years. read more

We recently, May 2015, had to file a claim because of a water leak in our front bathroom. Within a couple weeks time we had a large check to replace everything. We had to replace the floor tile, walls & flooring, along with some painting, plus having to buy a new vanity. After it was all said and done ( after the plumber, the drying company (to dry all the wet walls and whatnot) and the reconstruction company we have a beautiful new bathroom .
