The repairs totaled IMHO more than the vehicle is worth, BRANDON was wonderful! My grandmother did decide against repairs to forgo a more reliable vehicle. Although I do believe ALL automotive care is inflated. The vehicle KBB is $3,440; two separate unrelated repairs were quoted at $2700, unless something came up during repair then it would obviously go up. We called orielly & autozone and asked the price of the parts for the $1000 repair and ALL parts, grease, tool were $248.12 with tax! $750 for 2 hours labor- you tell me if they are inflated or not. After he fixed all these things I'm told I have a leak in my windshield that went into the dashboard or water intrusions we got it running and it's fine. You can pick it up and take it to get the Bimmer Shop or dealership-get the windshield leak fixed. They even told me about a glass repair shop behind them. I told them I would pick it up Monday because I worked across town. They left my car out of the shop in the rain all weekend. Fred called Monday and told me I needed a tow truck because it is an electrical problem now. Long story short I contacted the dealership and Bimmer shop and they both confirmed I was just ripped off. The water intrusion (their diagnosis) was easily identified and they knew additional work was not needed if the electrical was not resolved. On top of that they left the car out in the rain all weekend. Allen at the Bimmer Shop said we are not going to take your money. Fred's took zero responsibility for leaving the car in the rain. They close at 5pm and refused to stay open and just left the car sit outside in the rain knowing the windshield had a leak. Needless to say it is now not worth fixing. I'm taking them to small claims court as they took zero responsibility. Both dealership and Bimmer shop said they are not going to just take my money. DO NOT GO TO FRED AUTOMOTIVE in HUMBLE, Texas. They will not do the right thing all they want is to text message to fake problems and steal your money!!! Beware Money Grab! If you can't fix it just say you can't or don't know-nope they want the money!!
