Excellent service! I brought my laptop in for repair and they were really busy with work orders . They squeezed in my repair, since I couldn't leave the laptop there, and fixed it in 20 min. In the fall of 2017, I took my sister's computer in to have it fixed so she could have a working computer. It was a great computer, fast, with a large screen, which came in really handy. However, it was having problems, and she was working on a deadline. The guys at S&S diagnosed it as a failing motherboard, and said no problem, they could fix it, and quickly. Then the issues started. They told me that it was a special motherboard and they were having trouble getting it. Then the first one they got was damaged so they had to order another one. After waiting days, finally they said they had gotten the part in and it was fixed. I took the computer to my sister. She opened it and it did not work correctly. So I took it back to S&S. They said they'd fix it, but after multiple tries, the last time she plugged it in, the computer died. I took it back to S&S and they said, "well, the hard drive failed." Oh, and it wasn't their fault. Hard drives just do that sometimes. Really?!? I got tired of their attitude. They took absolutely no responsibility for any of the problems that showed up AFTER they had worked on the computer. I met with only resistance. and i ended up buying the BS they were selling, so we put the computer away, until this spring. When I was finally able to have the hard drive replaced, by someone else altogether since I no longer trusted S&S, I found out that the Ethernet port was broken. It's part of the motherboard. If S&S put in a new motherboard, why was the Ethernet port broken? I do not believe that they put in a new motherboard. Not only that, there were several broken keys on the keyboard, so it also had to be replaced. Both the keyboard and Ethernet port were working fine before I took the computer to S&S. We also learned that the battery was shorting out and that this was the probable cause of the hard drive failure. S&S had the computer for about two weeks and were supposedly checking it over to see what worked and what didn't. Why didn't S&S say something about the battery? Did they not notice? It would have been easy to replace the battery and far cheaper than a new hard drive! On a side note, when they gave me back the computer, it was in a different, much less nice bag, than I had dropped it off in. Bottom line, this computer, which used to be very fast and easy to use, is no longer a usable device. These guys saw me coming. I believed what they said, paid over $600 for a "repair" that ultimately made the computer unusable. Don't trust your tech to them. They claim they know what they are doing. But they are just out to make a buck. They are not out to help the customer, not really. read more

I found S and S through yelp and I'm here to say that the high star rating is, indeed, correct! They took my computer right in one morning this week and by the end of the day, I was getting a call that it had been repaired! Their assessment was free and the cleaning up of my computer came to about $75. Every other company I contacted was at least $99 for just looking at it... These guys were so nice and helped me out beyond my expectations! After fixing an intense viral infection in less than 24 hours they also helped me diagnose a hardware issue and set me all up to send it back under my warranty! This review is way past due, and well deserved. I went to S&S after a scorpion stung me while I was working on my laptop, causing me to freak out, stand up and drop the expensive piece of equipment on a hard tile floor--true story. The screen miraculously didn't break, however the hard drive was spinning at the point of impact and the computer ceased computing. These guys were responsive, thorough and upfront about everything. They let me know the best and worst case scenario for my computer and ended up advising that I get a get a new laptop rather than paying them for recovery attempts. They went above and beyond to answer all my questions then advise what kind of laptop I should buy and why, and sent me on my merry way--no charge. Which means I will gladly give my money to these folks in the future should any more evil scorpions sabotage my workday, or when my new laptop gets infested with bugs of any other variety. read more

Sean is my hero!!! He told me he would be and he came through in a big way! I do medical billing and my computer went out. I stupidly went to a big box store for help and thought all was lost. Sean diagnosed the problem quickly and efficiently. He kept me up to date on the progress and resolved the issue. When I went to pick up the machine, they are both so friendly and helpful and didn't talk down to me about my lack of knowledge or try to speak in terms that would be foreign to me. We have dealt with Sean (1 & 2) on several occasions. They were always helpful in solving all of our in a more than timely manner. We will continue to deal with any and all computer (PC and Mac) issues. I called and within 2 hours there was a very nice tech, Richy, at my home fixing my problem. I had asked them to come and fix a problem with my wireless printer. That problem was resolved in a matter of minutes and then I mentioned that my computer was running very slow. Richy took a look and fixed that too. We feel like we definitely got our money's worth.
