I'm really shocked at some of the other reviews here- to the point where you wonder if it's a little fabricated or exaggerated. My experience with Tsi computer repair was exceptional. I had inquired about services with several other companies first and found Mike to be the most knowledgeable, honest and down to earth. His work did not disappoint. He was fast ( worked on my laptop and returned to me THE NEXT DAY ), efficient, and reasonably priced ( especially for the expedited service.) I cannot say enough how awesome these people are. UPDATE: I didn't try to repair anything. I took the back off, looked at it and then Put the casing back on and that was it. My husband called in the middle of trying to get my pc, my personal issues and my "hyperbole" comments when you don't know me is not something you should NOT exaggerate on social media! Mike needs to stop and consider what he is putting his hands on. He didn't listen whenever I tried to tell him that the computer had a screw that was stuck in it. He ended up ripping the back off of my computer. He ended up at least having the decency to refund the money. But now I am out the money to replace the parts and a computer stuff full of unnecessary chemicals because he refused to listen! He did try to tell me that the screw was on the opposite side of the charging port. read more

I went here today to get my computer repaired after installing a new graphics card and the wait time was extraordinary! within the same hour I called I was booked and ready to get service done on my computer. when I arrived, The owner was very sweet and even talked with me, and the service only took around 15 minutes. I was charged a very low price for the service which I appreciate as a young person so so so much. I'm grateful that this business doesn't take advantage of my lack of knowledge when it comes to computers and instead helped me find out exactly what was wrong with my installation. When I get home to test it something went wrong so I gave him a call and he answered so fast and walked me through what I should try to fix it and even said I could come in the next day again if I had any problems. I brought my son's gaming desktop to TSI with a constant blue screen crash every 30 minutes or so. I dropped it off with a problem description (blue screen with suspected cpu problem, I brought a new cpu to install) on Monday morning. I got the desktop back Tuesday at lunch, and the problems were fixed. The owner found corruption on the O/S and on the hard drive which he resolved. Plus, he ran the machine for an hour and a half verifying it did not crash again. My son tested it at home for 6+ hours, and still no crashes. We've used them twice to repair my son's much-abused school laptop. Both times I was shocked it could be repaired, and not only was the repair done quickly, but got a very reasonable price. I had a disappointing experience from the start. Upon entering I realized no one was in the store; I had to announce myself several times before being acknowledged. I then experienced extremely rude service to the point that the person seemed annoyed that I was there and kept saying he didn't have any time. He interrupted me without even knowing what I was asking for. At that point, I said thank you and that I would go elsewhere and he didn't say anything. What a sh*t show. I thought they were taking advantage of my 18-year-old daughter, but the same thing happened to her as the other 1-star reviewers. Zero management of expectations, they charged her before even beginning to work on her laptop, and after a month, finally got to work on it AFTER he said it was ready and she could pick it up. ??? Never never take anything to this place for repair. I took my Dell Latitude E6510 in to have the power connector replaced. The computer worked fine because I could hold the power cord up enough to charge the battery and power it up. They kept my computer for more than four months and every time I called they said the part was on order. I finally said I'm coming to get it. He replied the motherboard is bad anyway. I did argue I just went to pick it up. They had the audacity to charge me $40. they destroyed the computer. Broke the chassis, stripped a screw on the hard drive and stole the battery. read more

I absolutely hate giving a bad review to a mom and pop shop, but these guys gotta work on the communication. My husband and I both took our laptops in at the same time. He heard back within a few days and they ordered the part and it got fixed, at a pretty high price comparitively, but oh well. I didnt hear back from anyone, but tried to call 3 times and left 2 voicemails, during business hours. No response. Day 6 (today) I went up there and was told they still havent been able to find the part. I asked why no one had called or responded to messages and the answer I was given is that I should have texted. Huh? I get that text may be the preferred method, but at least make this known either by putting that info on your voicemail or letting people know up front. I was not told this up front. No one said, hey sorry we didnt respond. Just zero communication. All excuses. Sad because these people could be making a lot more money just by refining their customer service. Update *When I got home I also realized the escape key on my keyboard is now broken and the place to plug in the charger is now lose so the charger has to be pushed into the side and is broken more. Yes, the cover was broken which is why I brought it in, but the escape key was never broken and I could at least plug the charger in. Cannot do that now. My mouse also does not work. The laptop, while somewhat broken at the base, worked perfectly. Now it does not work at all. The keyboard doesnt even lay flat anymore. Thanks TSI. You killed my favorite laptop. Make sure you check your laptop before you leave. I wish I would have. Will also be reporting this the BBB. These people shouldn't be in business. read more

I took my computer in because it was not turning on. They told me I needed my motherboard replaced. It took them over 5 weeks to complete the repair. They never followed up with me on the status of the repair as promised, and I had to contact them countless times by phone and in-person visits. When I got the computer home, it was missing a cord, missing a Wifi adaptor, and I had to buy a new DVI-D cord because the VGA cord no longer worked. He did not inform me of this! Poor customer service, not professional, and did not respect my health - No masks most of the time I went in there. NOT RECOMMENDED! read more

I took my dead ASUS G75VW to TSI just to have the memory flashed to my external hard drive. When I picked up the hard drive, the stuff that had been on the expansion drive was junk. He had captured many if not most of the data, but what he didn't get, was the stuff I needed most. He charged me $125 for the data capture and transfer which is pretty reasonable. He also got me for another $30 to try to diagnose why the G75VW died. After what seemed like a month, I finally went in to pick up the machine. We got there at 4:15pm and the store was closed. Locked up tight. The sign to the left of the door above had an electric "Open" sign lit that said "OPEN" with flashing lights and a blue arrow. To the left of the front door, tucked into the window was a sign that said "Closed" and written in hand were the words "Be back at" and a clock figure with moveable arms pointed to 3:00 a.m. I emailed that I would return the following day to pick up my computer and the $30 diagnostic fee I'd paid him; I had to send it to the depot for repair and how long does it take to do a freaking diag?? When I arrived, the machine was on the desk by the door, ready to go. All he said to me was "I think it might be the Graphics Card". I could have come up with "I think it's something that's not working". I think Amazing Carnac could have pulled that one out too. He did open the machine, I suppose that's how you get to the hard drives, but he didn't even shut the door correctly. As the display was not working when I took it in, and he couldn't get it to boot, I suspect he concluded the graphics card wasn't working either. But I didn't give him $30 to make a prediction. He seemed to have no interest in anything else. I took the machine, packed it up and sent it on for repair by professionals. This guy is a hack. He has machines everywhere but I never saw him work on any of them. I wondered how he kept them straight, none of them seemed to have any paperwork. The time it took to flash the memory was way too long and he never called me with any diagnosis. He could have kept it there for months and never bothered to look at it. $30 was a lesson learned, READ YELP REVIEWS EVERY SINGLE TIME! read more

If you have a Mac, do not waste your time. I brought a unit that had a liquid spill to these folks. They kept it for two weeks to supposedly have the screen replaced. I got it back and it didn't work right. So I brought it back. They kept it for another week where it supposedly worked ok. Got it home, still lots of problems. I was told that is the best they could do ($400 later). Brought to another repair shop that told me the screen was defective, but I didn't replace it with them. They said it had the original screen and it was never replaced. Finally brought to a third place that diagnosed the logic board (it was apparently obvious there was corrosion and so on). They repaired it and it works great. From a Mac point of view, these folks are dishonest and slow. Do not recommend. read more

Worst experience ever. Dropped off my laptop due to a power issue. They gave it back to me saying they fixed the problem. Within 30 minutes computer was powering on and off by itself and finally shut off completely. Took it back another 2 weeks passed. Said they fixed it again. Did the same thing within 5 minutes of using. Took it back yet again. Another 2 weeks pass and said they fixed it. Took it home and low and behold 5 minutes later it starts powering on and off by itself and finally shutting off completely. After nearly two months and $200 down the drain they could not fix it. Highly do not recommend this place. O and on another note the last and final time I picked it up the man tried to give me someone else's laptop. They had my computer for over 3 months. I was personally contacted 2 or 3 times other than that you need to call or text which they won't respond unless you're lucky. I spent 460$ and all I got back was a slow computer that can't run any low or high end games which it used to just fine but mike still swears all the same hardware is in it which is inaccurate. They did offer to take it back a third time if it still has problems but I'd rather have a professional who knows that it takes a good processor to run games which he said he didn't know about? Just picked up my 4 year old laptop to get cleaned to be able to give to my granddaughter and after getting an estimate for diagnostics, found out my hard drive was shot. Found this guy by accident when looking for another PC repair shop. Gave it a shot. Huge mistake! Had a laptop with a bad motherboard or power supply but I wanted someone to diagnose and see which, then order the part and install it. A new laptop would be about $500. A replacement mother board is about $80 so it seemed like a decent plan and I didn't have time to work on it myself. First off, he NEVER called back once he started "working" on it, not once. We had to hound him every week to see if he had done anything yet. He had the laptop for 2 months before finally deciding that he could not figure out what was wrong. Then he told us "Its not worth it to replace a motherboard anyway" (ludicrous) and "this thing is pretty much just toast". (also ludicrous). I have since ordered the motherboard ($80 plus shipping) and it arrived in 3 days. I then googled the removal and replacement and did it myself in about an hour. The laptop works perfectly now. Here's the awesome part: He had it 2 months and couldn't do what any 1st year computer tech could do and when he gave it back to us, he returned it in pieces. It was missing the touchpad panel cover, the battery cover and half of the screws that hold it together. We had to make two more trips to his shop to get them all back. Half the times that we called during normal business hours (8ish to 5ish) there was no answer. Driving to the shop, we often found "be back later" signs on the door in the middle of the day. We even waited there for hours once and he never returned. Bottom line: This guy is a joke. He is an unqualified, unprofessional, incompetent idiot and has no business running any kind of business especially involving computers. My advice, look around. There are plenty of good techs in the area. read more

I recently visited this store in hopes to build rapport with the owner. As I introduced myself and who I worked for he stated he wasn't interested. I then tried to tell him that was not my only intentions for being there that I have 3 outdated laptops that need work. Took my wife's ASUS Notebook computer to have the broken screen repaired. He told me sure I can fix it. Long story short 6 WEEKS later finally said it was ready... When I went to pick it up asked if it had been tested? He said no..... asked him to please do so as I was not going to pay for a computer that did not work. It did work other than the touch screen did not work now. Told me it was a $400.0 part and to just not use the touch screen... Took it to another trusted repair shop was a $20.00 part which he should have tested and could have installed when it was disassembled... DONT trust him I wont be back read more
