used this company for our wedding this past July. I did research other ones but this company seemed to be the most popular and other people I knew loved them from past events. they also were the most reasonable in price. I could tell when other companies were about to rip me off so I knew I was making a good decision. We were able to check out what they had to offer and had to go to their Leroy location to check out their fleet. we were able to be offered their newest bus which was super nice and I felt lucky. they all different sizes but I felt comfortable with the bus that could fit up to 22 people even though I had a party size of 11. I wanted to spread out and be able to stand up, especially in a dress! the driver we had was great, the only mistake was when he went to the wrong address to pick me up. the guys were fine when they were picked up, (and you'd think Id give a bad review because this is a thing that would really piss people off), however it worked out in my favor. I was running behind anyway getting ready and the timing of when we got to the church turned out to be perfect. I believe we were only 10 minutes late. the mess up happened when the driver typed in his gps it came up as a rd. instead of a dr. so he went to a different town and he caught his mistake. he apologized profusely and was great the rest of the day. the limo bus was clean, temperature was perfect and hook up for music worked (I know this can be problem for some) and they provided plenty of ice and cups. read more

‼ S&S Limosine company ‼ If you're planning a bachelorette or a wedding with shuttles I would recommend checking into other companies. Last Saturday we had a local bachelorette. The driver had another event and was going to be a bit late which we were very understanding of. When she arrived she was quite frazzled, but nice. We went to dinner at Goodluck and then hit Fairport bars for a little. On our way back to Chili the train gate was down. She waited a little, checked both ways, and then started to maneuver around the gates over the tracks. The brides sister immediately screamed to stop as we could literally see the incoming trains lights. Everyone started to panic as we were past the gate at this point. Very slowly the drive eventually backed up and then went back behind the gates. She did not share in any of our concern. We had 11 girls on board and one was pregnant and understandably very shaken up. When we got off of the limo the driver shook it off and laughed about us all feeling unsafe and concerned. The brides sister called the company to discuss this with them. They didn't take it very seriously. They took the driver's side over the concern of 11 customers and "reviewed" the tapes and felt it was not as serious of a situation. They offered no remedy, no concern.. nothing. Recently we hired a chauffeur to drive four adults to a concert in Canandaigua. Generally it takes about 45 minutes to go from our home to Canandaigua. The driver picked us up in time which was at 6 PM. The concert started at 7:30. We realized that traffic could be tough so for that reason we left at 6 o'clock. The Driver was perfectly nice. The driver knew where we wanted to go. We left our home and didn't pay close attention as we assumed the driver was professional. About 10 minutes later we realized the driver who knew exactly where we want to be which was Canandaigua was going in the WRONG direction! It was going south and west where we want to go north and east. We were surprised that not only did he not have a GPS he did not have a good map plan. Let's face it it's not difficult to find a good journey when you have an Internet. It is not hard when you have a smart phone. It is not hard if you call AAA! Well We help the driver and explain to him how to go to Canandaigua. Not that difficult but then again for what I'm spending why do I have to help them do the job. Keep in mind we were going to a very famous concert. I think people from Syracuse or Buffalo could've found this concert when you have Rod Stewart and Cini Lauper are playing. You may not appreciate The music but I'm certain you could find out how to go. By the time we got to the Canandaigua concert we were LATE, the concert had already started. Not such a good thing especially when you're spending a lot of money. We were being charge $300 +20% tip plus parking charges in an SUV. Given the fact that my wife had to explain to the driver how to go I would've felt that she should've gotten the tip (wink). To go further after the concert the chauffeur seem to have trouble knowing how to get us home. Once again we needed to help him. He was a very nice person just incapable. One more point: I did call the company the coming week. I asked to speak to the manager so as to share my problems sith S & S. The person answering the call put me on hold, then finally got back on telling me the Manager just left. I left a message with my number and told them I was unhappy with my recent use of S & S. For my wedding day, I had a crazy pick up schedule planned. I needed a limo to grab the girls from the hairdresser, then get them to the venue, then grab the boys from my house, then get them to the venue. I called S&S and asked if this was possible and they said without a doubt! I booked with them right then and there. I even added on a town car to get my husband and I from the venue to our mini moon. Everything was easy to book and we could pay for everything beforehand. The driver was so nice and professional! He knew exactly where he was going and there were no hiccups at all. This company goes above and beyond to make your day so special. They stay in constant communication and really help you determine the most ideal size for your party. Our bus driver, Chris, was just as amazing. We were doing a wine tour for 22 people as part of a 40th high school reunion. We wanted to re-live our high school years with loud music and lots of silliness. He was so accommodating and understanding even when we had to pivot the plan a few times. I would rent from this company again and again. My only suggestion would be to really drill down on the size of your passengers and the size of your bus. We were totally fine but our bus legally fit 26 but we were comfortable at 22. In the future, I may order the next bus up just to have a little more room for coolers, etc. read more

SS Limo was awful. Despite losing our wedding last Spring due to government shut down during Covd-19, SS limo refused to issue a refund in full for our limo service. We were not able to use the service at the time having lived in CA. Since unexpectedly moving back to NY, again due to the global pandemic we are all in, they are still offering no return services and kept our money with no service provided. Do not give them your money. It is an outrage that any service industry would refuse a full refund due to disaster or governmental shut down. read more

Unfortunately the Man of Honor tested positive for COVID three days before the bachelorette/scheduled wine tour and needless to say we needed to reschedule. When we reached out to S&S they REFUSED to reschedule our trip stating, "the world isn't shut down because of covid." Maybe the world isn't, but this trip now was. It's important to note that all we wanted to do was reschedule, we were not trying to cancel, and they did have availability for the rescheduled date. They said the only way to still have them service the wine tour was us paying another $1000. So THEY cancelled US and we didn't get any money refunded even though there is NOTHING in the contract about rescheduling events. TERRIBLE customer service. read more

The customer service was absolutely atrocious. Two days before my best friend's bachelorette party, my partner and I (who are both in the wedding) tested positive for COVID. This was completely out of our control. When I called to see if it was possible to just switch the dates, NOT completely cancel our reservation, I was told no because, "the world isn't shut down from COVID any more." I couldn't believe they said that to me in such a way. Even though the pandemic has quieted down businesses should be flexible and this was not at all. Now they get their money and don't even have to provide a service all because of something that was out of my control. After I sent an email to express my disappointment that we weren't even able to shift our date, I was asked to call them back. When I called them back, they literally just wanted to tell me no AGAIN. I have used this limo service on 2 occasions. My first one was on for my engagement party. It was wonderful, they were on time, the bus was awesome inside and their was a bluetooth music hook up which was a big plus. They also provides some cups and napkins as well. The driver was nice and it was a great experience. The 2nd time I booked with them was for my wedding. The price was decent and I enjoyed the first experience so I figured I would go with them again. Though when I called the coordinator to see if I could add a extra hour possibly, Tara, said she doesnt know because he may have another pickup after. I am not too sure why they would schedule another pickup right after when they have a wedding scheduled, things can go wrong at times, I dont believe you should ever schedule another customer that close to a wedding pickup. So as my wedding day arrived, they were over 15 minutes picking me up, they didn't even call me to tell me I had to call them. Their reason was they were stuck in traffic. When you are coming to pick up for a wedding you plan on leaving extra early.. so finally the limo arrives. The driver apologized and as we are on the way to the church the limo driver completely passes right by it! Luckily my sister was paying attention, and said something pretty quick. The driver blamed it on the company saying they must of gave him the wrong address, even though I confirmed through email and phone the correct address for the church. So now we all show up 10 minutes late to my wedding, lovely just what I want on my wedding day. Since the limo driver was late picking us up I figured I would get that time back since he was late and that wasn't my fault. The driver said no, you only get me until 5:30. I paid for 4 hours and he did not even arrive until 1:48! So I should of had him longer, but I didn't complain and just settled. Our wedding was cancelled due to the coronavirus epidemic. With no end in sight we are unable to confidently reschedule our wedding and most likely will not be. S&S Limo took our money the day before our county was put in a state of emergency and banned large gatherings. Me and my fiance called and emailed to try and negotiate at least a partial refund so both parties were not out on money in these troubling times, but S&S wanted nothing to do with it. They gave us store credit , but we have no intention of using a 900$ party bus just to go out to dinner. I'm shocked at how unreasonable a buisness can be during a troubling time. The speaker in our bus did nor work for the first 75% of the bus ride so we were left with an un-working speaker. We did not pay over $1000 to not have music on a party bus. I have rented many party busses/limos in my day and this company is BY FAR the worst and most unprofessional limousine company I have ever come into contact with. It all began with the terrible customer service over the phone. I spoke with the same woman, Tara, many times and every time she got more and more rude and disrespectful, which I didn't know was possible. If I am giving you my money and my business you should greet me and answer my questions with a pleasant tone. If you do not like dealing with people, you shouldn't have gone into customer service. Both my boyfriend and I have spoken to her and each came back with the same complaints. We got a bus that sat 20-22 people (as stated on their website) and the woman told me I could only have 16-18. After calling again and asking if we could add more (since it sat more) she told me no and the only reason was because she "quoted me for 18 people." I told her that online it seats more and I don't understand why I can't add more people and still got the response "I quoted you for 18 people." I should pay for the limo, not the amount of people. Not to mention this is the most expensive limo I have ever had to pay for. 0/10 on customer service and a 0/10 on price as well. I will never be doing business with them again. The actual limo driver was very nice. He was the only good thing about the trip. read more

I called the next day to speak with a manager about our experience and was put on hold a left there. I hung up and called back and was immediately put on hold again. I started talking about my experience and he said I must be calling the wrong company. To which I said no, he then hung up on me. For my 21st birthday, I was happy with Terry our limo driver. For every extra hour it was an extra $250. I offered the full $250 for an extra half hour and he told me $300. $250 was for every extra hour so I thought paying him the full $250 for a half hour was fine. He tried to argue with me and pull out the contract. When I wanted to grab a drink with my friends at a bar he threatened to leave without me. It's understandable but I offered him extra money. I think because I'm 21 he didn't believe me that I had money. 2012 Wedding - I do not recommend using this company. We had a 90+ degree day and our limo had no A/C. The excuse for this was something to the effect of: "This is normal, we have no control over it and we claim no responsibility for it." Also, the driver had no familiarity with the area and got lost several times. Some of which resulted in the girls walking far too far in their heels in the heat! We used S&S Limo for our daughters Senior Ball on June 12 and it was a terrible experience!! The limo bus was leaking fluid when it came to pick up the students however the limo driver said the bus was fine it was just the AC. The students would be a little hot on the ride to the school. The driver left the school to repair the bus without letting anyone know. When the students came out to get on the bus... it was gone and they couldn't get another bus to the school for 45 min. Once the students left the ball they were not allowed back in so parents had to shuttle 28 students to the final destination. Bottom line the limo driver didn't put the safety of the students first, he didn't react fast enough to solve a problem, and he didn't communicate that there was a problem so we could work with him to solve it. S&S Limo has no backup plan if there is a problem, the contract you sign states that S&S Limo is not responsible for any mechanical breakdown or disruption to your event, you don't really have access to the limo for the time period on the contract, and based on the other fine print they aren't responsible for anything and there is NO way you will get any money back because they basically don't care! They are a big company and one small group doesn't matter. I'm not sure about you but how a company you hire for services handles a problem is very important! They did however send me an email after the event to tell me how important it is to be safe. I will never use or recommend S&S Limo and neither will the 27 other families. Sarah B. read more

Went on a December wine tour from Niagara County out to the Finger Lakes. I was just a passenger, but my friends used S&S for their wedding a year and a half before and were happy, so they hired them again. I guess it was the same driver, Trey, too and he was awesome. Very friendly, knew exactly where he was going, and got us around safely on a very rainy and cold day. Honored our requests for bathroom breaks (even thinking ahead on the way back!), and just made the day enjoyable even when we had a couple mishaps of our own. Saw the other review about seeing a limo after 3, but it could have been pre-arranged. I know my friend had to call ahead to all the wineries in the fingers lakes area and let them know we were coming. Niagara and other areas, they will take you whenever so maybe it meant non-booked limos? read more

We rented a limo SUV to take us from the B&B to dinner at Mario's. They were excellent, on-time, and very organized before the wedding in making sure everything was documented appropriately. Our limo driver was very professional and courteous. Only little issue was that they did not have a step stool to get into the limo - it was difficult for me (the bride) and my FI's mom to get in. We made it but it was extremely difficult. I'm only 5'1 and in a wedding gown it quite a challenge. Make sure you request a step stool if you get the SUV! read more

S&S was helpful when i was inquiring about their services. Once booked, the tables turned. We explained what we wanted to S&S 3 separate times, and we still did not get what we wanted. S&S refused to pick us up at the address on our contract, forcing our guests to walk through thunderstorms to use the shuttle that we provided for guests, and then refused to give us any money back. A majority of our wedding guests were from out of state so we felt it was important to provide wedding day transportation to help create an overall great and stress-free experience. The transportation for our wedding guests was extremely straight forward for S&S: two back to back trips, picking up at two hotels and drop off at ceremony/reception site. Unfortunately that request was too complicated to understand as guests at a secondary hotel, 0.3 miles away from the primary hotel, were forgotten about but the S&S Limo shuttle driver. It should be noted that the day before the wedding I had an extremely detailed conversation with S&S triple checking that it was understood that there were TWO hotels that guests needed to be picked up. The information was not relayed at all as our guests were left waiting for a shuttle that wasn't coming. If it had not been for one of our guests who noticed her friend staying at the other hotel was not on the shuttle and instructing him to go back our guests surely would have missed the ceremony. As a result the ceremony was delayed 15 minutes because of the lack of effective communication exhibited by S&S limo. Additionally, when S&S Limo's customer service representatives were made aware of the huge lapse in communication after the wedding there was no offer of an apology and no offer of a partial refund for services that were clearly detailed in the contract. I was only told "the onboard GPS shows the driver went to both hotels." An extremely poor excuse and poor customer service. Needless to say my wife and me will not be giving S&S any recommendation for business as even multiple follow up calls weeks, days and 24 hours before could not prevent the lack of communication between the office and the drivers. read more

I have found that after booking several trips with S & S, the expeience is either just good or awful. Many of the ladies making reservations are extremely rude and condesending. I have had one driver get out of the limo bus and yell at me in the middle of the road for his tip (which had already been placed on his seat AND they cannot demand a tip). I have always gone back to them simply because I am always promised a better experience. I highly recommend you to check out other options and if the price is slightly higher, it is worth it. I have finally learned my lesson. read more
