The staff are incredibly nice and welcoming. The business is quiet and calming. I got exactly what I asked for without any discomfort or pain! I got a gel mani/pedi and with short, rounded nails. My nails are perfect and exactly what I asked for! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND COMING HERE! The price is fair for what I got (my cost was $93 without a tip)

I got sns extensions today and IM ABSOLUTELY LOVING ITT!! Danny is so kind and gentle. My mom regularly comes here and she loves it as well. The salon is clean and comfortable. 100% would come again and definitely recommend for anyone who's looking for amazing affordable nails

Today I took my 10 yr old daughter there to get her nails done as a special treat. She is very happy with the results and here are her own words "I'm ten years old and my mom took me to this salon for the first time.The people who work there are very nice and did really well on my nails. If you get a lady named Helen your going to have a relaxing time there.I also recommend this place because it's very clean and lots of colors to pick from." We'll be back again.

This past weekend was my second time getting my sns pedicure here and I am impressed! DAN did such a great job cleaning up my nails and doing the sns properly unlike many other nail salons that tend to cut corners. They squeezed me into their tight schedule while still servicing their other customers on time. I usually don't like to talk and mingle when I'm at the salon but Dans energy and welcoming attitude made me want to chat a bit. I will definitely be returning. Thanks! read more

I always get SNS dip with tips and my nails always turn out 10x better than I imagined. When I come in, the environment is so happy and welcoming. Had an appointment at 12 and I arrived at 11:45 didn't get tended to until 12:30 but other than that my nail tech was amazing I picked a really light, think color and when I was settling for a thin coat she worked really hard to make it a nice opacity. Loved the experience , definitely worth the money. She was already interested in where I received my last appointment and if I'll be coming back. This is a top choice, a bit expensive for me personally but highly worth it. read more

This nail shop is one of the best I have ever been to- and I have been all over the USA- they are caring - the owner and her son is so warm and sincere- Jackie is great when she is doing your pedicures and manicures- the prices are always reasonable- and! The way they have set up for the COVID scare is one and the best- no direct contact besides with your feet - thee wis a barricade between you and the person doing your feet and hands- The place is clean and welcoming! Absolutely love this Unique Nail Boutique! The ambiance is very welcoming and clean. They are very personable and kind. The work is extraordinary. They really care about their clients. The quality of work is very impressive. They really go an extra mile to give us a excellent spa like experience. They have so many variety of colors and extended services. They sterilize the instruments and use warm towels after pedicures. This is even Without the spa pedicure. I really enjoy the massages and good quality products they use. Unlike other nail salons. I use to go to Kelly,nails and they are not a clean , sterile facility. I ended up getting nail fungus from that place. The customer quality is not the same. S & S is top Quality Nail Service!! Everyone who works at this salon is very friendly and professional. I tried them out 2 weeks ago for an acrylic gel/pedicure and came back today for a touch up. I love my nails and I'm very satisfied with the service and price. Jacqueline, Dan, and Henry are wonderful! They always offer me water and were willing to change the channel on the TV for me when I asked. Clean, great ambience. I would absolutely recommend this nail salon to anyone. I noticed a review where someone complained about price and it not being posted anywhere? Not true. When I asked how much (which I always do up front) they showed me a pricing menu and made it very clear the total. I paid $90 for eyebrow wax, pedicure with polish and full acrylic gel set. Today I had a nail break off and it cost $30 to fix it a new one and refresh the rest of my nails. I would expect to pay that much and my nails lasted very well. read more

I love my nails from S&S nails and spa. It is so difficult to find a nail salon that does a great job, AND is fairly priced. I received great service. I have lived in the area 8 years and have tried all the nearby nail salons. I have never been happy with any of them so I actually would drive to South Lamar every other week to get them done. I finally decided to check out S&S and couldn't be more pleased. It is a very friendly, clean and organized salon. Jacqueline did my gel manicure and it looks amazing! This nail salon is everything a person can wish for. I'm starting with my most favorite things about this place: work quality and customer service. Customer service: When I first walked in I was greeted as if the staff had known me forever. After multiple visits I grew found of each staff member and they always make it a point to pick up conversation where we previously left off. Each person is so sweet, respectful and ensure each customer is as comfortable as possible. I honestly feel like I am reuniting and catching up with friends when I come by S&S. Quality of work and price: Unbeatable! I have never walked out of the salon disappointed. Each staff member is detailed oriented and takes their time working on each guest. I have never felt the job was done rushed and poorly only to get to another guest in for the money (I have felt like that before in other salons). During manicures and pedicures thorough massages are done (not the typical pat on the leg or hand as other places do). Staff at S&S takes pride in their work and looks out for their customers by pricing their services at an affordable price. Ambiance: cute, nicely decorated and most importantly CLEAN! They are taking the proper precautions to keep their customers safe. Temperature was taken as I entered, face mask is being enforced, plastic dividers are in place to prevent direct contact and distance is kept between customers (only 2 other customers aside from myself were inside). S&S is my most favorite nail salon and if I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! read more

My go-to nail spot in North Austin. Jackline always listens to me about what I want and offers advice, but not in a pushy way. She makes sure the length and shape are perfect before continuing. One time I came with a set from somewhere else that I just hated. I was going to remove it and get a new set but she fixed it AND saved me money! She just did a beautiful white glitter SNS set on me! Helen is great for pedicures. Only cuts down nail if you want and really takes her time to give a good leg/foot massage. Also, Dan is THE MAN for designs. Wanted a "girls" outing and pretty nails with my daughters. S&S is our go to spot and so we made reservations in advance since there were 3 of us. On the day we arrived there was a mix up on the time so we came back but that was a mix up too. They were booked all of the next day and we couldn't come back for a third time because of dinner plans. We were disappointed to say the least. So instead of letting us leave that way they opened earlier the next morning so that they could get us taken care of. The owner was not going to let us be disappointed and we were not. The girls got their nails done and my pedicure was wonderful. Please give S&S your patronage. You will not be disappointed! And...they are very covid conscience with the proper distancing and protection so you can feel safe getting your nails done. read more

S&S is the best nail salon in the area. I have lived in this area for almost 3 years and I haven't been satisfied with my nails until now. The minute my daughter and I walked in they were very friendly. My daughter (6 yrs) wanted a polish change and they helped her find the perfect polish that she was looking for. I got a gel manicure and Danny was amazing from the time I sat down till the time I left. He made us feel welcome and comfortable. The salon is organized, clean and the staff is very friendly. I love this place. I've been coming here about a year. I wish I had found It sooner. It is so clean and modern. The staff is so friendly. Jacqueline is a master. My pedis last so long, I've never had them last this long from any other place. The best part, a pedi is only $25.00!! AND, they have a loyalty program where they stamp a card. I love this nail salon! It's always so clean and well organized. The thing that surprised me the most about this place is how honest they are about time. My friend and I came here once and noticed it was very busy. Rather than giving us the standard "5-minute wait" and putting our feet in water to ensure we won't leave, they politely told us "It may be an hour, could you please come back?" We were happily shocked at their honesty. My friend and I took the opportunity to grab a drink and appetizers at Nik's and walked back an hour later. Total win-win. As my concerns about handling the heat and humidity increased this last month, I was nervous about finding a hairstylist having had some bad experiences and cuts (probably one of the reasons my hair grew so long anyway). I did some research and found West salon, conveniently located for me and well reviewed, I decided to give it a try! SO glad I did! Even when I called and asked umpteen questions, Shirley was super helpful and understanding about my concerns about cutting off my long hair. Hope was my stylist! She was fantastic! She listened. She asked questions. She was concerned about lopping off my long tresses because she cared about my beautiful hair, but did anyway, and in the end, I got the most fantastic cut I've ever had! I'm transformed and completely in love (and a heck of a lot cooler) with my new cut.

This place is excellent, clean, and everything is brand new under new management! They took time to make sure my nails were exactly how I wanted them! Loved everything about this salon and the staff were beyond amazing. The attention to detail is not something I have seen in places like this before, and they took the time and effort to make sure I walked out of there with absolutely exactly what I wanted. After giving it some thought, I do believe I clearly communicated what I wanted, and I ultimately feel that I may have been overcharged. To start with the positives, I called ahead to see if they had availability for a walk-in. They told me it would be about 30 minutes, but I was welcome to come early and sit in one of the massage chairs while I waited. I appreciated that and did exactly that. It was relaxing to sit in the chair while they finished with other clients. Once they were ready, my pedicure began. I originally selected a lower-tier service, but the technician explained the Detox Pedicure very well and suggested upgrading. I agreed, and overall the pedicure experience itself was pleasant. While the pedicure was being done, another technician started on my hands with the manicure, but when another walk-in client arrived, that technician left to start a pedicure for the new client. The technician finishing my pedicure then move to her station and continued with my manicure and applied the clear dip. It was a seamless transition and excellent team work. I will say that I did like the quality of her work on my manicure and the dip. However, I did notice something with my pedicure. I had asked for clear polish on my toenails, and while it was drying it looked like some white dust had settled on the polish. I was trying to figure out how to mention it, but when the technician later applied oil to my toenails, the white appearance seemed to disappear and the nails looked glossy, so I assumed it had just needed to be brushed off. When I took a shower later that day my nails looked like I originally saw with a white dusty and matte look to it with some spot shiny. When I went to the register, I was surprised that the total was $130 before tip. I had calculated the $55 Detox Pedicure plus the $45 dip manicure, which I thought would be around $100. I assumed I may have miscalculated and didn't question it at the time, so I paid and left a 20% tip ($26) for a total of $156. When I got to my car and reviewed the receipt, I noticed there was an additional $10 charge listed for a "Cuticle Trim", along with a $20 "Additional Charge". $30 extra on to the bill. At most salons I've been to, the price of a dip manicure already includes the basic manicure prep such as cuticle trimming and nail shaping before the dip is applied. I get my nails done fairly regularly, and this is the first time I've ever been charged a separate and unclear $10 cuticle trim and $20 additional charge fee on top of the dip manicure price. The menu did not clearly indicate this additional charge, and it was never communicated to me beforehand. While I did enjoy the service quality of the manicure and the overall pedicure experience, I was not happy with the final finish of my toenails and was especially disappointed by the lack of transparency in pricing. This experience left me feeling unsettled. Clear communication about pricing, especially additional fees, is important so clients can make informed decisions before services are performed. Unfortunately, I don't feel that happened here. For that I don't plan on returning.
