Could have been a better experience. They're great for small jobs but I hired them for some drywall work that came out fine, Installed my exhaust fan from a bathroom incorrectly. Borowed parts from another one which meant I couldn't return it costing me about $150 read more

Used Yelp site to send a request for service, included photos of the work to be done and got a response within an hour from SJV. He gave me a quote, we set an appointment for the next day and Victor arrived even a bit earlier than scheduled. When a leg came off my big upholstered chair, it disengaged with a large triangular piece of wood with bolts and screws. I'm clueless about repairs so I asked a knowledgeable neighbor to come by and give me an idea if it was fixable, how it occrred and what a repair should entail. Victor had the same assessment and he came prepared with all he needed. He tightened the other three legs that were a bit loose too. He was in and out in 25 minutes. He wore a mask in my home, and cared enough about my upholstery that he suggested I put something down on the floor to protect it while he worked on the upside down chair. Everyone on the team is competent, conscientious, and trustworthy, and their rates are reasonable for such high value. Our remodel included eight new window installations, kitchen demolition and restructuring, electrical rewiring, flooring demolition and installation, recessed lighting installation, drywall repairs, light plumbing, two exterior gate constructions, fan and duct construction, two small roofing solutions to add shade and prevent leaks, and hauling away heavy items. Our house was built in the 1940s and so one of the wiring solutions caused some GFI problems with old circuitry, and Victor and team stopped by one morning at no additional charge and fixed the entire system by adding a new component. Sometimes Victor, Jose, Sal, and Felix will solve problems before you even know you have them so our recommendation is that you give them a call and let them act as problem-solvers as well as contractors for your remodeling needs. read more

Responsive, detailed and saved me money. The Yelp process worked for me. I wanted an inside door reversed on the pantry. I do basic carpentry, but doors are a little more complicated. I thought I would have to have the door frame removed and reversed. Victor stopped by (with face coverings) assessed the situation, and said no. The frame was suitable for just flipping the door. He could have really 'stuck it to me' in a situation like this - but he didn't. He and his assistant did a very good job. They brought a vacuum for clean up. All reasonably priced. Plus when one works at home and doesn't get out much - it's good to meet nice decent people. read more

To make sure that he installed the correct Outlet (220), he waited until my Level 2 Electric Car Charger arrived. He asked if he could come do the job the next morning. He was 5 minutes early, and had the job completed in 90 minutes. I paid $250.00 and supplied the Outlet, the electrical box, and the cover. He waited to make sure that the Car Charger worked properly. He and his co-worker were incredibly polite and accommodating. But they were also fast, clean, and efficient.
