The boats you rent from this place are not big enough to handle the wakes comfortably. I know some could say that this is not the fault of the boat rental company, but to a great degree, it is. These boats, the size of them and their power, are more appropriate for smaller bodies of water where you have less wakes. They do not have enough power to cut through them. They are about as fast as a two person kayak going full speed. Yeah, that slow. Once I discovered how feeble and underpowered they are, knew I should not venture out far from the coast. So I hugged the shore to avoid the rough waters and went north. Once we got to the cove we turned around. We had brought food for a picnic, but the boat kept rocking so much we couldn't comfortably eat. So even parking and just hanging out wasn't pleasant. Five years ago, I rented a sporty pontoon boat from waterfront adventures. Took my wife out on a lunch date with it and had a wonderful experience. They no longer rent those, but that is my point of comparison. These electric boats are underpowered, unstable and for the price($300+), disappointing. We returned to the docks an hour before our time was up it was that unpleasant. BUT, they are warm with the wind covers down. Have comfortable seats. We made the best out of it and tried to enjoy ourselves. My 2 year old son enjoyed it, and that saved the experience.

Our Sunset Cruise on the Far Niente was everyone's highlight of the entire vacation. Derek and Judi are the ultimate host and hostess and we were pampered from the moment we met Derek at the dock. It's clear that they truly love to entertain and seem to have as much fun as their guests. Their attention to detail is amazing. The food and presentation were incredible. So much variety and all absolutely delicious. The experience on the boat was perfect--great views of Seattle, the ferries and then anchoring near Bainbridge Island. A sail in the Sound was added to our bucket list after moving to Seattle just a few months ago, and I'm sad about how quickly the evening went by! We greatly enjoyed the appetizers and large selection of drinks on the first leg of the trip over to Bainbridge Island. Also, Derek's music selection is great! :) I was surprised at how chilly it got once the sun went down, despite the air temperature being in the mid-80s, so I would recommend bringing a sweater or light jacket. I have worked with him now for what is going on three years- he has done some work on my 2001 Campion boat (with a Volvo Penta engine) and I have him take care of the winterizing at the end of the season and de-winterizing at the beginning. He also doesn't do work that isn't required and he does work the right way. For example, I made an appointment with him last week to bring the boat in this week. I brought it in and he did the work and now it is ready already. I would 100% give the best recommendation for this business and as long as the guy owns it, I'll keep coming back

We didn't even have to dock our boat, just get close enough for one of the staff members to hop on. The staff was awesome at walking us through the safety information and made sure that we got the most for our rental time. They were super friendly and ensure that you are prepared for a fun day on the water. A few things to mention, they did not have rentals for tubes or wakeboards, so if you want to do those activities you'd have to buy your own before hand. The shop also advises you to be 30 mins early for your reservation, and I would recommend doing so, as the safety demo will ebb into your rental time.

Only reason we left was due to being able to move our vessel closer to home. Otherwise, we would be continuing our stay at Harbour Village Marina. With a pumpout station, fuel and service all available next door, the marina also has nice shower and restroom facilities, along with secure entry. Our kids were also big fans of Daisy, the dock dog.
