Several years ago I was referred to Saatchi Jewelry through a loyalty program we have in common, when my wife lost a diamond from her wedding band. Most jewelers told me it would take a couple of weeks for them to find the diamond and have it mounted. I left it with one of Saatchi Jeweler's employees for an estimate. I got a call a couple of days later informing me that her ring was repaired. All I could worry about how much this was going to cost. To my surprise his prices were below the estimates of all the other jewelers I approached, I took it as a steal !!! Since that day I have had a number of repairs done by Saatchi Jewelry and have a matching pair of Rolex watches through this local Mission Viejo merchant. I heard from a friend that Saatchi Jewelry sells silver investment coins and bullion by the ounce so I gave them a try. This is an easy choice for local gold and silver purchases. I did learn at the time that I picked up my silver bars that there is a per piece charge. This ran the cost up but I wanted the product. If I had purchased fewer pieces, ie. larger weight bars, the per piece charge would have been less. Oh, by the way, they also had tons of jewelry if that's what you are looking for. read more

I had a simple transaction with Saatchi jewelry, just a battery replacement for an average watch. It was advertised that they were having a sale, 99¢ battery replacements. I brought my watch in, and believe it or not I had forgotten my money. I had none at all so I left it with them, and returned with money. At no point did he tell me that it would be more than 99¢...he claimed that mine was 10$ because it was special. I understand there is a labor cost included but I looked up the battery online and... Horrible customer service. He had my watch for over a month. Said he had to send it to LA to get the new watch bands and a pin. Said $60 initially, then I called and complained and immediately dropped the price. To top it off he didn't even get my watch bands, the main thing I wanted to order. Frustrating... I went to Saatchi recently to get some pearls strung. The necklace they were attached to was tangled and was a muted dark gold - almost copper in color. Well, the pearls were strung but the necklace couldn't be untangled I guess. So without any notice (or a call asking me my preference) it was returned on this bright yellow gold chain. Like really bright yellow. So, I went in after waiting over a week to see this and had to ask for a white gold chain instead. That took another week. I think overall for this necklace I stopped by the shop 4-5x. Not impressed. read more

I gave Saatchi a picture of my ring with all the certificate s and he said he could get me anywhere from $2000-$2500 for $5700 certified ring. 2 weeks later he said he could only get me $900 and since I was hurting for the cash i said ok and he said he would wire $900 into my account. The next day he only wires $800 into my account and when i asked why only 800 he made up some BS excuse about a commission chaarge and a $10 shipping fee. When i confronted him about it he stopped answering my calls and wouldn't text me back. He is incredibly dishonest!! Never trust a man that say " You can trust me,im very honest" over and over again. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!! PS After posting this comment someone else sent me a text that said i was lucky, Saatchi ripped this guy off for $9k. PS Since i wrote this post several people have text me and said that Saatchi took them for tens on thousands of dollars and he currently has several lawsuits against him. read more

The watch is an Ann Klein and could have been easily replaced with a newer model, but the watch is unique and very sentimental to me. Saatchi had the watch sent back to the the factory.
