Every aspect of the experience was perfect in every way. The quaint cottage located in the adorable town of Niwot becomes a magical miniature palace the moment you walk in. Julie has created a welcoming, sweet, environment that is impeccably clean and comfortable, exuding charm and elegance. I felt so at home, yet transported to a world of bliss throughout the whole treatment. My aging and sun damaged skin is very delicate and sensitive. Julie asked me questions and seemed to intuitively understand and know what I needed. She put me at ease with her warm and honest, yet professional demeanor. The treatment room and table that felt more like a bed was outfitted with clean sheets, blankets, a knee rest, and a body wrap towel to wear. After examining my skin, she carefully selected from a myriad of treatment protocols addressing my issues and proceeded to seamlessly and smoothly work her magic. I have never felt so relaxed during a facial treatment. The true test was the improvement in my skin after only one treatment which she adeptly accomplished. The pricing structure is yet another bonus compared to other spas. Julie offers a pricing system that allows for customization at each visit in set package deals that allow for flexibility of products used and treatments selected as needed for each treatment. She was patient with me while explaining how it works. One of the main benefits is that she doesn't up-charge for every add on like most spas operate. After answering that question (with my concern about potential skin cancer) was I told that the doctors are not accepting new patients. I told the receptionist that it was strange to be asked what I'm interested in first, if the doctor is not accepting new patients. I asked if the answer would be different if I was interested in cosmetic services and she told me "yes". There would be a significant wait, but I could schedule for a cosmetic consult, and I could not have medical concerns addressed at such a visit. This told me everything I need to know about this practice. Skin cancer, which is potentially lethal, is not something they have time for - cosmetics pay much more.
