Alisha was AMAZING. My hair was so damaged (long and thick) that I had no choice but to go to a salon for help. I normally do a 'once per year' trip just to keep it trimmed. Every snip she made was meticulous. She took her time and was very focused. I am so grateful that I scheduled this appointment and got HER! I was a new customer and did not have anyone to request so I just went with it. Very industrial feel to this place. It was clean, but lacked a front desk person when I was in. So every time the phone rang, stylists had to drop everything and scramble to get the phone. I liked my stylist, but hated the cut she gave me. I was specific about keeping length. She put shorter layers into my already thin hair, which made it look and feel even thinner. So I had this kind of mullet thing going- shorter in front and long in back. Ugh. It was all uneven. Not to mention how long I'll have to wait for this to grow out now :( I still left a decent tip, but was thanked offhandedly as I was already out the door. I had a facial wax done here last week. Ripped off skin above my lip and didn't even get all the hair. Missed spots. Over-plucked my eyebrows. Not "seemed like" but more like DEFINITELY didn't know what she was doing. The wax room was filthy. Sheet on the wax table to lay down on had hair galore on it! GA-ROSS!! Spots of liquid--who KNOWS what any of them were! I had to dust off of it with my bare hand! Looks like it was the same sheet for the last week! Dirty. Gross. Unprofessional. Lacking knowledge. Sorry this post seems so harsh, but it was pretty awful. I will NOT be going back--EVER! read more

I see Riley for all my hair needs. She listens to any concerns or ideas I have. I have extremely curly hair and it can be difficult to find someone who has experience dealing with the texture. She does an excellent job with my cuts. She listens to my requests and I have been happy happy with the results. She is also an awesome colorist. Well, it was time for a cut and style and I saw this new place because I frequent another area business. As the salon where I was going has frequent turnover, I decided to try this new one. I was taken immediately to the work station where the stylist Kanoe asked me about my preferences, she assessed my hair ( a mess! ) and got started. She was very through and took all the time she needed to get it just perfect. Wash, cut and style this time. My hair is coarse, dry and colored. She was able to get it into great shape, great cut and great style. She offered tips about products available at the salon, products available at the 'drugstore' and even products from the kitchen! I immediately started getting compliments on my hair. And I'll be able to duplicate it at home. Prices are competitive with area salons. The place is very beautiful inside, a relaxing experience, the chairs are comfortable, and all the necessary tools and products are available. The other client who was there at the same time walked out with an amazing cut by the other stylist too. She came in with straight 'nothing' hair and without a bunch of curling and fussing she walked out with a very modern and flattering style. read more

This place is awesome! I always try to go here for waxing. Kanoe is excellent and very thorough. I always have to cancel appointments due to work unfortunately :(. But when I can fit in time to get a wax I only go to Kanoe. Best pricing I've found in Longmont and the quality I get is comparable to the waxing I got in Southern Cali! read more
