Legit the richest and most flavorful yellow curry I've found in north Texas. We stopped at this place for a late lunch because we were starving and running errands so I absolutely didn't expect to get my socks knocked off by yellow curry and crispy rice but omfg I've found a new favorite place to order from. It's a little pricier than other fast casual restaurants, but the portions are generous and it's SO GOOD! I can't wait to try the Lao Spicy Sausage and the Sabaidee Riblets because those looked amazing too but we were already taking some of our meals to go! My sister however said her food was on the salty side. Before heading out the door, I ordered Pad See Ewy and Riblets to take to the airport for my return flight to San Diego. Service: The staff at the register made sure she had our orders correctly before putting them through. In addition to being thorough, she was also attentive. Came here for a quick lunch and was not disappointed. I ordered the chicken pad see ew which they make to order. I decided dine in so they brought the food to my table. The food was very hot when they brought it out and it you could see the steam. This was definitely a plus. I don't enjoy super spicy food so I opted for a 1 on the spice level and that was perfect for me. The food was tasty and more than enough for me to take home after eating a little less than half. Sabidee is a go to place, and for the most part it's a good choice, however the Prosper location is far too inconsistent in quality and service to be rated any higher. Addison location is top tier and I'd never rate them 2 stars. Pros: When the food is good it's good, there's no denying that. The crispy egg rolls and loa fried rice is my favorite. Cons: If you order online (their website) or via Uber eats, they have an option to "add veggies" however I do not eat mushroom so I always have to call immediately after placing my order to advise them of no mushroom because they don't have the option to remove mushroom since it's not included in the original dish - BUT some days it seems as if they ignore phone calls, like today. The fact this has happened to me several times in the past AND sometimes they've even added mushroom after speaking with me is why I deducted 3 stars. The experience is not consistent and is why I limit ordering to once a month because I'm typically left disappointed more often than I am pleased. This would be a good choice if you don't have any dietary restrictions, however if you need to call them for any reason - just find another option. Do better Sabidee. read more

So I recommend you buy your Thai food here, hard yes....but I have grumble to air; and I really don't see why it wouldn't be an easy fix. I was gifted a doordash card and decided I would spend it on my neighborhood Thai spot. Several of my neighbors and I love the place because the food is soooo good. Great sign #1. It was 2 entrees, the red curry and Penang curry; we have what I believe to be a combo of flu and allergies that had us clogged up, and I need something to cure it. We got spice level 2 on both because my wife can't do the heat. Box was heavy, great sign #2, the curries are packed in sizable containers and wrapped in plastic bag to avoid spillag, Nicely done. We got white rice with both, just keeping it simple. Opened both curries and my nostrils and senses were accosted by the most amazing aromatics!!! I really was excited about this meal, great sign #3..... Theeeen, the s***houssery started, why can I count the amount of slivers of chicken in my curry???? WHY?? No really, why would you sabotage a 5 star meal by skimping on the protein??? See I'm not expecting a whole chicken breast; I'm not expecting half, but I do expect that I get a fair serving of the protein; I shouldn't have to pay extra for a fair portion. The only thing that saved the day was the leftover rotisserie from Costco. I took the sizable breast(s) chopped them into chunks and added to the soup. Which ended up being 6 full meals for 3 adults. I have ordered takeout from Sabaidee several times and stopped in for lunch today while I was out running errands. The location was nice for the most part, I liked the hand-painted mural. But one of the first things you see walking in is a bunch of things stored away up top. That definitely should be addressed, is an eyesore for sure. They also had boxes just hanging out in the hallway. I'm a designer first and foremost so things like that really bother me, I would suggest them putting up a curtain and storing everything up top and out of the way. I ordered the pad Kee pow with chicken, it had a really good flavor and I enjoyed my meal. I sat out on the patio and enjoyed the nice day. The TV out there was pretty loud so I would definitely suggest lowering the volume. The meal was served in a plastic container with a plastic fork, it would have been nice to have regular plate and flatware, I had to wait several minutes and ask for a lid for my drink. I will definitely order takeout from them again in the future but I don't believe I will be dining in again. read more

Sabaidee is a 3.5 stars for me so I'll be nice and round up. All of the food was slightly above average so nothing to rave about. Spicy sausage was delicious. Riblets and wings are not bad. Pad Thai was really sweet when we asked for a level 4/5 spice. I read all the previous reviews from either over a year ago or within this last year. I will say this much, the workers all had gloves and I saw no one eating off a knife while using it to prepare food. I will say this food was delicious, it came out quick, and I'm used to paying $16-20 a bowl for curries, so at $12.99 I was able to get 3! Rice portions are about normal and they offer the at table spices which I always enjoy. Their Thai tea is about the normal price as well and this is coming from someone who's had Thai food in many different states. Will definitely be coming back! read more

Main reason for 1 star is completely unacceptable kitchen behavior. Of course the kitchen grandma had to do something nasty when preparing our 2 orders of mango sticky rice. First she cuts the mango and while a piece was on the knife she ate the slice so she got whatever was in her mouth on the knife ugh. Then she custs the next mango into 5 pieces puts four in the box and eats the fifth. This is very nasty when she knows people are watching and can see. I ordered the Pad See Ew (Sweet Soy Noodle) and Tom Kha soup and both were wayyy too sweet. My husband tried the Pad Thai and he said it tasted "off" and the noodles could have used a few more seconds of being boiled since they came out sort of chewy. I do like that they use FRIED tofu. Came to Sabaidee because our usual Thai restaurant is closed on Sundays and we weren't disappointed. Sabaidee is a small mom-and-pop full of flavor. We literally only saw 2 people working the kitchen and one girl running the register, taking orders, and bringing the food out to the tables. Everything came out piping hot. Portion sizes are standard as they serve everything in to -go containers, even if you're dining in. This makes it convenient if you don't finish your food so you can easily just pack it up and take it home. They chopped up the beef in my drunken noodles into small pieces which I'm not really used to. I rather have the big, tender pieces of beef but the flavor made up for it. Sabaidee offers some rare and unique dishes, like the crispy coconut rice dish, native to Laos, which is a delicious concoction of crispy rice balls fried to golden perfection, then crushed up and mixed with your choice of meat (I tried the pork), peanuts, herbs and sauces--think crispy fried rice.
