Sometimes they get to laughing and giggling and playing behind the counter they forget your entire order or part of your order. Pad see ew was incredible. Definitely the best Thai place in the area based off this one dish!!! So rich and flavorful and the noodles are perfection. I had this a couple weeks ago and I've been dying to go back but it's just too far. I went at a super off hour so I was the only customer there so I really just flagged them down when I needed a water refill or something but they were nice and helpful. We ordered curry fried rice with tofu, another one with chicken, tom yum noodle soup and drunken noodles without any vegetables/protein. Our first dish arrived within 5 mins of ordering, it left a lot to be desired for. The curry fried rice was steamed rice mixed with veggies and a hint of curry powder put together in a hurry, neither the veggies nor the rice were properly tossed in a wok. The curry noodles was a gooey mess with rice noodles and curry powder. The drunken noodles and soup were decent. The ambiance was great and so was the service. Disappointed after what was once a great experience. I had visited this place before and left a stellar review, so it's unfortunate to have to write this update. On my most recent visit, I ordered a few appetizers--crab rangoon, spring rolls, and rib tips. The rib tips tasted as if they were going bad--extremely salty, almost like someone was trying to cover up the taste of spoiled meat. I sent them back after the first bite. The waitress was polite and apologetic, which I appreciated. However, the cook stepped out to see who returned the food and lingered nearby for several minutes, never approaching us. It was only after we had paid and were walking out that he came over to review our check. I didn't request a discount or make a scene, but the cook's behavior left me feeling profiled and disappointed. Sadly, I won't be returning after this experience. read more

So I love pho, but my favorite pho place was closed one night after leaving the gym "don't judge" so I ZaZa Thai had Pho on their menu and I decided to call up a friend and told her let's go. Upon walking in the restaurant, I was surprised how beautiful it was. The restaurant was very zen. We were greeted as soon as we walked which was a plus. We ended up ordering an appetizer to start. The appetizer that stood out to us was the Zaza Money Bag. This was very pleasant it put you in the mind of a mini egg roll. For our main course I ordered the Bamee Nam Moo Dang which consists of BBQ pork over steamed egg noodles, bok choy and bean sprout topped with our signature broth, cilantro and green onions. This was absolutely delicious! I was skeptical about the bbq pork in a broth losing its flavor, but that was not the case. The pork was tender and the broth had a good flavor. We also ordered the Pho Chicken and added Shrimp to it. This was very good the chicken didn't have much seasoning, but the broth was the real winner of this dish. To end our meal, we orded the Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. It was a great after meal dessert to cleanse your palate. It was not overly sweet and the coconut milk really set off the taste in a good way. The mango was fresh and delightful. First off this place is nice inside! I did not expect such a nice sit down restaurant feel, but wow. As for the food, mixed. The beef Pho was excellent as many people have said, huge portion and lots of beef. Broth was excellent! Crab Rangoon look amazing, but they were still cold in the center and one still a frozen..... Chicken Pad Thai was average but had very little chicken, and I mean very little. My first visit to Zaza Thai I ordered Thai Fried Rice with shrimp to go. When I got home, I saw chicken. Since I paid extra for shrimp, I spoke with young lady who remembered me. She was able to credit extra charge over the phone and apologized for the mix up. The chicken turned out to be mind-blowing and I have ordered a few times now along with the shrimp. I have requested no heat and level 1. Level 1 is safe for me and flavor is always great. The employees are welcoming and very friendly. I was pleasantly surprised when I entered this new addition of an Asian Thai food restaurant in my city. Nestled in a strip mall, dark booths are lined up against the wall, soft music plays in the background and greenery lines up against the windows that creates a comfortable vibe. I wasn't super hungry, so ordered the kid-sized Pho with chicken plus vegetable egg rolls. The portion of the Pho was generous with very flavorful broth and the egg rolls were fried to perfection. We have been fans of Zaza Thai since it opened. The food is always good. The menu has a wide variety to choose from and we have been happy customers. I hate to leave a 3 star review. Recently, we went in for dinner. It was only my immediate family (5 of us) 3 kids and 2 adults. We got sat at a table and all seemed fine. It wasn't until the check came and we saw that we were charged a Service Fee of 18% and also expected to leave a tip. I asked the server why there was a service fee and she said they " charge parties of 5 or more a service fee". This wasn't a large group, this was my immediate family. We ordered one tea, and water only. The service fee was charged based on the total plus sales tax. The server did not tell us of any extra charge to sit at a table. I feel like I was tricked and I also feel like we can't count on our local Thai spot to enjoy dinner as a family any longer. Please consider your patrons and stop adding a service fee. read more

They had several tables filled with lots of party prom people and they were still very attentive. We ordered a few appetizers. A little pricey for the crab rangoon- needs more crab and less rangoon. Shrimp spring rolls were good, two per order. We ordered pad Thai, drunken noodles, red curry and another noodle dish, Pad woonsen. The pad woonsen was delicious and smoky and so flavorful. My favorite. Everyone cleaned their dishes, not one scrap left. I had red curry leftovers for days. Big periods. Super fresh. Very very good spot. One recommendation- their portion for the red curry was huge, but the rice was a smaller portion. Maybe just a tiny scoop more would have been great. I also asked if they could chop up the chicken and veggies because I have an aversion to the large chunkies- maybe a diva question? Makes me choke. They said it was already cut- ?
