I wish they had a brown rice option. I ordered the beef pho. It was absolutely terrible. The noodles arrived mushy. And that was before being put in the broth. They didn't hold their structure. It was literally a pile of goo. The broth itself was terrible. I have never seen a pho have a grey broth. It was SO salty. Overall I was unimpressed. Overall the food was pretty solid, and they delivered so that's always a plus. Its hard to find some good shrimp fried rice, and this place made me wonder if the restaurants in the area are using the wrong kind of rice; seems too thick. We got a Tokyo spicy chicken which was a perfect amount of heat and all white meat--nice! The hibachi fried rice with shrimp was ok, but you definitely had to add soy sauce and like I said, the rice was a little on the thicker side. I appreciate the big and deveined shrimp, though....so a solid 3.5/5 for that. The wonton soup didn't have a lot of flavor in the broth and the veggies we subbed instead of the rice with the chicken were probably the biggest disappointment. Not only did it have an extreme amount of bean sprouts and few other BIG veggies, but they had no flavor and looked barely steamed. Boooo to that. Me and my friend said we'd try it again cause they have alot of other dishes to try, including ramen (which I refuse to get delivered) but it'll have to be a 3 for now. read more

Food was deliciously made! It was hot & spices were blended perfectly, not too spicy nor bland, service was amazing! We started with the fried dumplings and a hot fresh masubi, delicious! My daughter had the hibachi noodles with spicy shrimp & it was excellent, I love that it has that "hibachi" flavor. My hubby tried the Tokyo Chicken and I kept stealing it from him, it was like a breaded chicken and had pineapples, and I tried for the second time drunken noodles with chicken. Here's the skinny: they are FAST. We always do takeout. I order online, then head that way. I live 6 minutes away and I've never waited for my food. I think that means it's bulk prepared but after eating from here over 10 times, I can fairly say I haven't been sick after eating. I get Mongolian beef, sweet and sour chicken, and one other dish along with 5 egg rolls. This feeds my family of four (two elementary aged kids who love the food and eat eat eat) and often there are some leftovers. The orange chicken is... not. I'm not sure if it's the sauce they use or what, but it's not our favorite (and orange chicken is our family favorite). Same for the hot and sour soup. They're good at other things, just steer clear. Delivery order, less than 1 mile. We have been ordering often since they opened with no complaints on speed, heat or quality. However, this time almost every item we ordered had some issue. Wings had soggy breading, fried noodles were stale and hard, spring roles didn't taste fresh, Mongolian beef tasted burnt, honey sesame chicken had many pieces overcooked and chewy. These are all items that we have ordered many times and enjoyed. I did contact the restaurant with no response yet and will try again before deciding it is a permanent quality problem with management. read more

We have ordered from here several times- both delivery and pickup. Definitely the fastest delivery service out here in Celina! Food always arrives within a 30 min window and is always super hot, unlike every other delivery here which is upwards of 1.5 hours. We've tried different things here and have definitely found our favorites! Both the noodles and rice hibachi style are amazing. I would definitely say beef is the way to go- always perfectly made. The chicken is a hit or miss. Sometimes the chicken lacks a bit of flavor. The egg rolls are amazing and so are the fried dumplings. What happened to this place? It used to be our go-to Chinese place but the last two meals from here were inedible. The chicken is like a piece of tire rubber deep fried until it's crunchy. Do you get a crunch which doesn't belong on chicken, and then the driest and most flavorless "meat" underneath. It honestly doesn't even taste like chicken. It hurts to say it, but Panda Express is fine dining compared to Rice and Noodle now. read more

The best mediocre Chinese that we've had in the Celina area. Very reasonable portions and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. If you like a breaded and sauced Chinese dish, the Tokyo spicy is the way to go. If you order online there are several options to modify the ingredients to your liking. I've been wanting to try this place since the day I seen it picking up my Pizza. Yesterday was the day. I placed my order online. Pretty simple. Only one problem. The special instructions only lets you type a few words. My order was ready when I walked in. It was going to be about an hour before I would be able to eat so I expected things would not be as fresh and crispy. What I wasn't expecting? How basic and Blan the food would be. For the area it's expected just disappointing that We still can't get an Asian Restaurant in this area that has a Wow factor. I ordered the Spicy Tokyo chicken. Horrible zero flavor the texture is doughy. I'm not sure exactly what I was suppose to be tasting? The vegetable hibachi fried rice. The rice was soggy very very soggy and the only flavor was Salty soy sauce. My daughter had the Tempura shrimp udon with Chicken added. She said it was basic. I ate a few of her Shrimp and they were exactly that "Basic" So overall it's not the worse nor is it the best it's just a Basic North Texas StripMall Asian Restaurant. We had the honey sesame chicken with fried rice, house ramen and steamed dumplings. Overall it tastes like they use cheap ingredients to make bland food. Nothing tasted remotely fresh, the "fried rice" tasted like white rice thrown in a wok with soy sauce, the honey chicken was a sweet, jerky-like sludgy mess with no discernible flavor. The steamed dumplings were incredibly over cooked and just turned to mush in your mouth, the ramen had so much going on the flavors did not come together and it hurt my stomach. The ability to fully customize your order and substitute your sides is better than other Chinese takeout places I've ordered from in the past. I have ordered the Tokyo chicken twice now and it is unlike any other dish I've had. It's very spicy but very delicious. (Ordering sauce on the side keeps the batter dry during delivery.) Rice and Noodle is a great delivery option in Celina. I've been pleased with the Chicken Pho and most of the food we've had from there. I'm giving the food/restaurant 4 stars. I placed my most recent order on Thursday evening. I called the store about five minutes later to request a later delivery because I didn't want anyone trying to drive during the storm. Their delivery driver, Carlos went above and beyond, risking his personal safety on Thursday evening and delivered during the middle of a major storm. I insisted that the driver come into our home to take shelter during the worst part of the storm. The restaurant contacted me and they provided Carlos with additional compensation. Leadership will not receive a high score from me here. Safety comes first always! Choose people over things every time. Food can be replaced but people cannot. Carlos - thank you for delivering! We have enjoyed the vegetable egg rolls, mango colada smoothie, hibachi chicken fried rice , orange peel chicken, noodles, crab Rangoon, chicken wonton soup and mango Mochi. I'm disappointed in having to rate this restaurant so low. My family has frequented Rice & Noodle since it's opening and they have always been friendly and the food was, for the most part, of good quality. However, I learned today that they are not taking proper precautions during these unprecedented times. I walked in and noticed that though they were selling hand sanitizer, face masks, face shields, and gloves none of the employees not even those in the kitchen were wearing masks. When I asked the cashier about this, letting her know I was uncomfortable, she said they weren't required to. We all have to do our part in reducing the spread of Covid-19 if customers are wearing masks to enter your restaurant staff should also be required to do so.
