    Yam Naem Kao Tod
    Jay B.

I typically go to Saibaidee for their soups which I love, but I decided to try something new this visit and ordered the Yam Naem Kao Tod. It was loaded with flavor and crunchy bites with spice as I ordered level 4 spice. The lettuce leaf gives a refreshing bit to the dish. I had an order of shrimps in a blanket to start, the shrimp were huge and the wraps were perfectly crispy! As always the staff was super helpful when ordering and explaining the menu and checked in on us throughout the meal.

The good: Service was amazing! staff were very attentive and the food presentation was great. As far as the food, I'll have to wait and comeback and try other dishes since the ones we initially tried were just OK. We may have to try the traditional dishes like pad thai on our next visit.

Recently opened restaurant in the Twincreek shopping area. Occupies the storefront that formerly held Dickies Barbecue. Not overly large, only a total of 10 tables/booths and one waitress on the floor to cover it all. Menu is fairly extensive and the food is reasonably priced. Wife and I went with veggie egg rolls to start. 4 come out as a serving. Nice and crunchy with decent flavor. We then went with Pad Thai for our entrees. She had tofu and I had shrimp. You pick your spice level from 0 to 5. She went with a 2 and I got a 3. We both got a little spice and it was suitable for us. Portions were sufficient to have leftovers. Waitress was friendly. A good little place to check out.

    Chili oil fried rice

As a Thai food enthusiast, I truly enjoyed the chili oil fried rice (spicy level: 1), along with the mango boba. I tried my friend's mango sticky rice and it reminded me so much of some of my favorite spots from California. The waitress was so sweet and checked in on us often. I thought the place's ambiance was so cute and had TV inside, I got my rice to go, and parking was pretty accessible!

If you haven't been to Sabaidee Thai Lao Cuisine yet, put it on your to-do list. I ordered the Pad See Ew, which they make with fresh homemade wide rice noodles that blew me away! I feel like most restaurants use Pad Thai noodles in their Pad See Ew (which is fine), so having these homemade wide rice noodles really made a difference. Hubby ordered stir-fry vegetables with chicken, and we also got an order of egg rolls. Everything was so flavorful and fresh! Our server was nice and attentive, and our food arrived in a timely manner. The thai tea that I had was full of bold flavor and was sooooo yummy! We have frequent here at least once every other week bc it's so good! It's our new favorite date night place. It's a must try for sure!

The food is hit or miss. Whoever they had cooking for them when they first opened needs to be the ONLY cook. I got rice today with zero favor. And these big hard pieces of carrots. The fried rice is still white in some areas. :( The staff is very friendly. The egg rolls are delicious!

Came on a New Years Day which was a shortened day for them. One server, potentially owner, offered polite and prompt service. Both meals were hot; beef pho and beef salad. My favorite was the clear sweet and spicy sauce offered in the containers on the table. They also had bottles of sauce to make your dish perfect for you. Prices were around $12-$16 per dish. We'd definitely go back and the table next to us also spoke highly of the food.

    Red curry with rice

We ordered the spring rolls with a side of peanut sauce and will order it again. We also ordered the green curry with a spice level of 3 and red curry with tofu and a spice level of 0. Both were served with rice and we will probably order the same again next time, although I would like to try a few of the noodle dishes. The sticky rice was served in a nice basket but we will probably not order it again. I ordered a Thai tea with coconut milk and it was good, but there was so much ice that I drank most of it before my meal was served. Service was excellent. The ambiance was nice but could use some decorations or posters on the wall.

I had the drunken noodles with beef and my husband had the green curry with tofu. Both dishes were delicious. Service was great! We will definitely be back!!

Great little Thai spot in Bellevue. Service is great and they will always give out good suggestions. Lots of options in terms of food and spice. Incredible Pho. I have also had the fried rice and pad Thai--both were great.

    Drunken Noodles with Chicken

This restaurant opened about a week or so ago, so I'll definitely be giving them another shot in the future. But they do have some kinks to work out. When we arrived, there were only 2 other tables, yet it still took 45 minutes to get our food. We ordered the Egg Roll appetizer, Drunken Noodles with Chicken, Massaman Curry with Chicken, Chili Paste Oil Fried Rice with Shrimp, and Beef Jerky. Two of our entrees came out, then our appetizer, and then two more entrees. We received the Fried Rice with Chicken instead of Shrimp, it was still delicious despite not being a spice level 3 like we asked - there was no spice at all. The Drunken Noodles were also quite good flavor wise, but those drunken noodles were extremely "drunk" as in they were absolute mush. I also feel that was a very small plate for $13 and again, where's the spice? The Massaman Curry with Chicken was amazing - handsdown all of our favorites and nicely spicy at level 3. The Beef Jerky... all I can say is, just don't. It wasn't bad per se, but it also wasn't great and that is a tiny plate for $16. Egg rolls were standard but nice and crispy! Service was friendly and the waitress apologized when I asked for the price to be adjusted for chicken instead of shrimp.

I said no, I can order from the menu. She and the gentleman server just kind of looked at me so I asked, "Do I seat myself?" It was my first visit so I didn't know. The gentleman said "Yes, sit wherever you'd like." I sat down at a table for 2. The interior is a bit small but as it was later in the afternoon there were plenty of seating options. Thai music videos were playing on a television and there were Thai photos and artwork on the walls. The gentleman who greeted me took my drink and appetizer order. When he brought my iced tea, he took my entree order. I have had Pad Thai two other places and got 5/10 heat rating both times. Both were spicy, but not overly so. When I got my spring rolls, I was excited to try them. I dipped them in the peanut sauce and took a bite. They were good but something didn't taste quite right. I finished one roll and started on a second one, trying to figure out why they tasted a little off to me. After a couple bites, a piece of cilantro came out of the roll onto my plate. That explained it. I'm one of those people for whom cilantro tastes bad/soapy. So the rolls are probably good, as long as you like cilantro! When my pork Pad Thai came out, it looked amazing! It tasted really good, too--I ate the entire plate full! It was much spicier/hotter than the two I had tried at other restaurants, but I liked it spicy. The only drawback was that I finished my glass of iced tea pretty quickly, given the spiciness, and did not get a refill until about ten minutes later. The gentleman who served me was taking down the buffet and wiping down tables, which is fine, but he didn't come check on the two tables that were still in the restaurant. The woman came in from the front entry area after about ten minutes and refilled my glass with water. I drank it, and was not offered another refill until a different server came with my check, another ten-fifteen minutes later. Over all, the Pad Thai was excellent, the spring rolls were probably good for cilantro people, but I do wish I'd been able to get more to drink.

Before a spice level 2 on a meal was reasonably warm but now it is almost sickly sweet with no actual flavor. The service is quick and courteous and the ambiance inside is peaceful but overall this was just a disappointment to return to this restaurant after so many years.

One day, I had the entire day off - holiday, I think - so I asked the boyfriend if he'd like to meet me for lunch somewhere, and he agreed. The only condition was that it would have to be relatively close to the work-place. Since it had just opened, we thought we'd give Thai Delicious a shot at teasing the taste buds... We weren't quite sure what to expect, but, we definitely were not expecting what we saw when we entered... Thai Delicious, it seems, is an office space that has been haphazardly converted into a restaurant. With a single employee who acts as hostess, waitress, and chef, it would be an overstatement that more than two people, at a time, would be difficult to serve. Such was the case on this day. After my boyfriend and I were seated, after we were promptly given a menu, utensils, and water, another couple came in and were seated in front of a large television which our gracious hostess turned on for them. Unfortunately, she returned to take our orders and then disappeared behind what looked like a closet door. Shortly thereafter, approximately five minutes, the couple turned off the television and headed out. Much to her surprise, our hostess/waitress/chef emerged with two plates of pad thai and immediately noticed that the other two patrons had left. She then began to explain why she was the only one working there - to save on costs. We can understand that - who couldn't? Unfortunately, it's not exactly something you share with first-timers - and especially BEFORE they've begun to eat their meal... Speaking of eating our meals... the pad thai was, at best, mediocre. All the requisite ingredients were there, but it was lackluster and severely plain with no amount of assistance from the lime or peanuts. In her defense, I have seriously high expectations of the food I eat. I'm from Hawai`i and am the daughter of a chef-instructor, so I'm bound to have issues with some things that I sample... I don't care if an establishment is run-down looking or if it's odd and quirky...sometimes, that can be a good thing and add some character to the place. I do, however, care if the food I'm given is not tasty or interesting to the palate. In this case, unfortunately, the pad thai fell short. Will I go there again? I hope someone else has better luck than I did. If you do, Yelp it, and I'll give it a second chance. For now? I think I'll stick to the places I've been and the Thai food I've enjoyed. Better luck for the next Thai Delicious patrons.

Service was a bit slow, even though it was not too busy, but the rangoons were worth every second. For the main event, we each grabbed a large bowl of pho. One special, one steak-only (mine), and one chicken. I love that all the sauces, utensils, and extras are right on the table. The broth is what makes pho, and theirs did not disappoint. The noodles took a little work, but everything came together perfectly. And the plate of sprouts, cilantro, lime, and jalapeño lets you doctor your soup just the way you like it. Lunch came to about $37 after tip (I covered the rangoons), which is a little steep, but considering I got a craft lemonade, a pop, a large soup, and plenty of leftovers, I think it was worth it. Honestly, the quality and quantity more than justify the price. I'm even starting to welcome colder weather just so I can enjoy this soup more often! I will absolutely be back.
