We were walking through Fremont actually on the way to a different restaurant and this place caught our eye. When you walk through their door it feels like you're transported into a whole new space. The decorations were so cool and the space overall was set up nicely with a full bar in the back. Our waiter was also super kind and attentive. We got the basil lava rice and panang curry, both four stars. The flavors were amazing and they actually make the dishes spicy. We went in at lunch time on a weekend and it was pretty empty. I hope this place is more popular during dinner because I loved this meal.

We came here because the other super popular Thai restaurant had a long wait on a Sunday during dinner time. Our server who's also the bar tender is super nice. While the price is on the high side for the portion, the taste of every dish we tried is solid. The menu is extensive, and offers many creative dishes that are not seen at other Thai restaurants. The most surprising and my favorite dish of the night is the Som Tom Avocado & Lychee ($17.95) - sweet, sour and spicy, the lychee and avocados are fun to eat, with the cashew adding some creaminess and nuttiness. The grilled pork jowl (Kor Moo Yang, $17.95) is fatty and yummy, not the most tender, has an interesting snapness to it. The green curry is very creamy, seafood (+$5) is a good protein option. Have it with rice (jasmine, brown and sticky), which is $3 each. Overall, we had a great experience. The vibe inside is fun, great for couples or friends to enjoy some food and cocktails and have a good time.

Nam Tok Beef Salad (rating: 1/5, bitter cucumber, salty beef w/ enough sodium to breach ur daily upper limit, i added a river to dilute it)

I used to love this place - compared to Kin Len Thai a block over, they are more low-key and less popular, but still with an equally authentic selection, delicious food, nice plating, and relaxing ambiance great for friends hangout. Compared to Jai Thai and Kwanjai Thai, they have nicer decor with more characteristics and less casual. We had been here many times and had tried many different dishes, e.g. the curries, the Guay Jub noodles, the Ba Mee Hang Sukhothai noodles, the Tom Yum Noodle Soup, etc. They had never let us down until our last visit. During our last visit, the combination of their food quality and how the waiting staff handled the situation really pissed me off. I decided to try something different last time, so I asked our waiter for recommendation between the crying tiger (8 oz. grilled beef salad e-sarn style) and the Nam Tok Beef Salad (Grilled beef salad E-Sarn style with chili lime dressing serving portion 8 oz). He said they are very similar but Nam tok has the dressing mixed in and contains more greens than the crying tiger. I wanted to have a balanced meal so I went with Nam Tok. BAD CHOICE. When the Nam Tok dish was served, I took a bite of the cucumber side and it was noticeably bitter. I immediately reached out to the waiter and asked him to replace the dish, without taking any bites of the beef. He took away the entire plate and came back with a new batch of cucumber on the side of the plate. It turned out that they only replaced the cucumbers, which is understandable - meat is way pricier. I still ended up eating some cucumber that tasted extremely bitter, but didn't want to bother the staff again. Then when I got to the grilled beef, disappointment struck again - it was overly salty. I thought if I ate it with the greens it would help, but it did not; then I tried pouring some water into the dish to dilute the salt, didn't help either; eventually I had to dip the beef strips into water to swallow it. The dressing also didn't have any other flavor (no sweetness, no sourness, etc.) compared to the dressing I've had before. Yea, I've had dishes similar to Nam Tok or Crying Tiger before at other Thai restaurants, and the dressings were always way better. I was going to settle with the salty beef, since our waiter didn't seem super enthused to deal with the bitter cucumbers. However, he came back to refill our water and asked if "everything is okay". I took that question serious and told him about the salty beef. He clearly saw the water soaked plate and my beef-dipped water cup. Yet he responded with "oh, okay" and walked away. I thought he left to find a solution, but he never returned until it was time to hand us the check. No offering to replace the dish or refund, no offering of small appetizers to make up, NOT EVEN A "SORRY". Seriously, why ask to begin with? No doubt, I'm not coming back. I'd rather wait in line for Kin Len Thai.

Loved the winter decor of this place! Felt like a winter wonderland from the dining area, to the bar, all the way to the restrooms. Came here on Saturday morning right at opening and was instantly greeted and led to a booth. Menu included limited seasonal options and my boyfriend and I ordered a couple cocktails which definitely felt worth from the amount of alcohol we tasted. The food was honestly a good portion size for the price, which made us feel good about the overall experience. Only downside was I wish the curry was a little spicier, we ordered a 3 star but could barely taste the spice. Overall, this place is definitely worth the price considering the portions were generous. I would totally come back. Also, looks like they might have days where they have a live band performing as we some instruments near the front of the dining area. Would love to see a performance next time I'm in the area.

First off, I would like to emphasize that I really wish this restaurant were somewhere more accessible by car. Trying to find street parking anywhere remotely close to here was a pain and we spent a good 15 minutes circling around trying to find somewhere to park. Upon entering, you're welcomed by a friendly smile and cool decor! The music is super up beat and I could tell this would be a fun place for some dinner on the weekends. The server was very friendly and always made sure to come check in on us for more drinks. The crispy garlic chicken and pineapple fried rice were good but nothing too different from other Thai restaurants I tried. Not to say it's not good but to say it's consistently good with its contenders! The green beans were very flavorless and could've definitely used a lot more salt. The star of the show was the roasted duck curry. The curry was super creamy and full of umami with all the fruits and vegetables in it. How the duck stayed consistently juicy and slightly crispy was beyond me; even when soaking in the sauce. Would definitely come back in the future but would probably try to carpool due to the lack of parking around (plenty of street parking but plenty of cars already parked).

Been wanting to check this place out for a minute and I'm so glad I finally did!! It is so beautiful inside and I went during a slow time but the customer service was exceptional! Food was all amazing and I didn't get any drinks but the cocktail menu definitely had me planning my next trip!

I went to this place with some friends and we absolutely loved it! The portions were quite big, staff were attentive, and decor was unique. I got the duck noodle soup and it absolutely hit the spot. The soup was very flavorful and had lots of duck meat. The meat itself was very juicy.

It's been a while since we have been to this place, but overall it's a pretty nice restaurant with decent food. Food wise, we only got two simple dishes, both were pretty flavorful. Portion was okay, a tad bit on the smaller side in my opinion. Service was fine, it was overall pretty busy so cant judge too much on that. Ambiance was really nice, it was clean in general. They have a live band at times which is kinda sick! Both the aesthetic was pretty fun, cool lights. Overall, it's not bad but they do have a big competition across the street in Kin Len which I personally prefer when we are talking about Thai food. But everyone is different and the aesthetic is also different, so it depends on how you feel!

While this place seems to get mixed reviews, I am pleased to say we came on an "on" night and had a great experience. The decor is definitely maximalist - lots of neon and bright colors and a ton of Christmas decorations. Everything comes together to make a fun carnival of a place. I had the sassy mama - which was a lychee margarita - it was very satisfying and well balanced and I appreciated the lychee garnish. My dining companions liked their drinks, too. We also had the appetizer tower which was fun (all of the plating was fun the whole meal). The pad kee mao and yellow curry were also great - flavorful, large portions, hearty. Service was fast and friendly. And don't miss the bathroom hallway!

After experiencing a fun dinner last night for a friend's birthday, felt compelled to write a review for this place to let others know how awesome it is :) Despite the mixed reviews one may see about SabbVerr, I will say that this place does a great job in regards to the following areas: 1. Service - My group of friends (10+) received quick and attentive service. Waitstaff was friendly and our water cups were never empty long. Since we were celebrating a birthday, the waitstaff came out to sing happy birthday! In addition, not sure if it's a weekend thing, but there was a live musical performance starting around 10pm. 2. Food - Alas, we were not prepared for how BIG the portions were or how YUMMY the food was! :D Ordered the roasted duck curry and this was soooo good! Highly recommend going family style here if you want to split and try different dishes. In addition, the menu here is quite vast, so definitely take your time in browsing through the options. 3. Drinks - YUM and very photogenic. From the pink flamingos to the non-alcoholic pandan drink with basil seeds, I would say SabbVerr did a great job in offering different choices and doing a good job with the drinks. Also, if you're feeling festive, do check out the Wheel of Shots. Super colorful and the shots are more on the fruity side and tasted refreshing. 4. Price - For the amount of food received, pricing here is pretty reasonable! Overall - great place for a group dinner and serves as another solid alternative if local nearby restaurants are full. Totally would come here again if in the area!

Sabbverr Platter Set is a 5/5! Very flavorful. Shoutout to the chicken wings! 10/10 recommend this spot.

Good mix of street food and traditional dishes! Recommend for birthdays and fun girls night. They had a live band and service was good food arrived on time.

Cool decor, friendly service, and pretty good food! We made a reservation ahead of time for a Thursday night and it wasn't too busy when we arrived. This is one of the spots right off the bus route so I've passed it many times but finally got the chance to try. The inside is really well decorated with neon lights and signs. I also appreciate how the music isn't too loud here like some other thai restaurants. We got the khao moo dong moo krob and seafood stir fry with curry sauce to share. Both were pretty good! I would say the pork dish didn't have as thick/flavorful of a sauce that I prefer, but the meat was tender and the portion was super generous. I did like the crispy pork belly as well. The seafood stir fry had mussels, squid, and scallops as well as bell peppers and onions. The sauce that coated it was really good and I loved eating it with rice too. Overall, the atmosphere was nice and it's fun for a group dinner. Glad I tried!

Long over due review. My friend took me here for my birthday in December last year and this place was decked out from the Christmas/Holiday decor to the neon lights down the bathroom hallway it felt like I was in a club. Loved it!! They have this ferris wheel of shots with the sparklers. If you want to impress your friends this is definitely a show stopper, must get it. My friend and I shared it (about 6 shots total), the shots were not alcohol forward, it was more like juice so I don't think you'd get drunk off of ordering this. The food was also very good. We got these jumbo river prawns that were grilled, some papaya salad, raw oysters with I think some sort of homemade sambal sauce and noodle soup dish. The vibe, atmosphere, service, and food was all amazing.

We ordered munchies and drinks while we waited for our table at Delancey. The bartender / server knew we would be headed to Delancey in 40 minutes or so, and handled things well accordingly. We got a plate of olives (tasty, great finger food) and drinks. The Yonder cider was good, not too sweet. The Martini was tasty. I had two quibbles: The first was with the pricing: the martini was charged as two separate items: 1) gin (I suppose the charge varies by the kind of gin or vodka in your martini) 2) martini (which is apparently the non-vodka or or non-gin part of your drink) While I'm sure this makes it easier to track for the bartender and inventory, as well as for charging, as a customer, it's a little odd to have a mixed drink be a two-part charge. The second was the included 20% automatic gratuity. I don't object to the concept of a standard service charge, I just wish it had been more prominently displayed so that I wouldn't have added a 20% tip on top of that (and my tip was on the amount that included tax, service charge and drinks / food). So, buyer beware ... the service is good, the ambiance is nice, the food and drinks are good -- but the payment / billing is non-standard, and can cause unexpected surprises.
