Great cozy Mediterranean inspired restaurant in East Nashville. I felt the neighborhood love when I walked in. The service was great and we even got to meet the owner. The hummus was the star of my meal. I could eat a bucket of it! Great happy hour specials and happy hour is everyday before 6pm. Definitely stop by and feel the love if you're in the area

I have been trying to visit for a while now, today was the day. Their hours vary during the week. The best time to go for lunch is on Friday - Sunday (11:30a-10pm). Monday - Thursday they don't open until 4pm. Went in and was greeted immediately from a lady behind the bar. She was super friendly and sweet. She sat us and brought over menus and waters. Only one other couple was seated at the bar, so it was fairly empty during this time. They do have a happy hour for certain drafts, cocktail of the day, diner burger, and a couple of other things. Based off reviews I ended up going with the diner burger. Being a burger lover, it was only right I give it a try. I wouldn't call it a smash burger, but it was a thinner patty like patty. But very juicy and rich in flavor. The caramelized onions were the perfect addition along with the provolone cheese. Fries come with it but for an up-charge of $3 you can make the fries loaded or $5 to sub for Brussels. Overall I enjoyed my experience today here and would love to bring others along to give it a try as well.

Sabell's is a fun neighborhood public house. The parking lot can get full, extra parking is across the street. With the cold weather, inside seating is limited. However, the staff works hard to get as many as possible at tables as quickly as possible. Tshatshkes fill the place. Even the furnishing are great conversation pieces. The menu is bar food with Sabell's twist. Fries and fried brussels sprouts are totally worth it. Many of the dishes have Mediterranean flavor profiles. Sharing starters is very easy. I ordered a house burger (gotta have fries), it was good. In the future, I will go with a plate or a sandwich, more to my desire. Locals are so lucky to have a gathering place in Sabell's.

I give this four stars for the service and the fries. These fries are SO good. We even warmed them up the next day and they were better than most other fries than other restaurants. The other food was good for bar food. Maybe not fancy a date night out. They don't take reservations but the staff jumbled tables around for us and got a sat within 20 minutes. Ambiance was a bar with neat little figurines on the fireplace and other ledges. Will be back for fries and beers.

As someone who knows his way around a burger, I can confidently say that this is a burger you do not want to miss out on. Best burger seasoning in the city. Heck, might be the best burger in the state. Don't sleep, get it and enjoy. 10/10 no notes. Great service, great vibes, great beef.

Sabell's has a great happy hour with inexpensive specials and great food! The service was phenomenal and I loved my burger and fries. I'll be back.

Welcome to the falafel of your dreams. Casual bar & Mediterranean eatery tucked into South Inglewood, Sabell's is becoming one of my favorite places for a casual hang with very good food. First thing to love: one of the few inexpensive places left for a great meal these days. Even if I get a drink or two with my food, these are high quality eats and drinks at almost unheard of prices (most entrees are $10-13, same with cocktails, beers are more inexpensive.) The falafel pita is THE item to get here and easily the best falafel in Nashville right now. They don't skimp on the herbs in the falafel batter and it's hot and crispy on the outside when delivered to you - just perfect. Lots of flavorful sauce options but my favorite is toum - a garlic whip concoction that adds a punch to any appetizer or sandwich. The mezze platter is a great way to try a lot of the favorite snacks on the menu and includes some tabbouleh, falafel, toum, hummus, and the whipped feta. My dad really loved the chicken souvlaki and I thought the diner burger really hit the spot on a cold night (with truly the world's most perfect, crispy fries!!) Great beer selection and entree and appetizer specials that rotates frequently. On a recent visit with my parents, my mom fell in love with a watermelon mint N/A drink that she immediately tried to recreate when we got home. Lovely patio for sitting with a big group of friends or your pup, and a small parking lot, making it super easy to find a spot. Great, attentive table service whether you are sitting inside or outside, which really puts this place over the top for me. Hope this place stays around forever - it's such a neighborhood gem!

Such a cute little place! Nice outdoor seating, $5 margaritas from 4-6pm, friendly staff. Had the $12 happy hour diner burger and fries, the burger wasn't my fav but the fries were the bomb! My partner had the curry it was a bit bland and overpriced for the small amount of actual curry/chicken received. Would go back for the fries and trying another drink!

It was a cute place, had friendly service, and the food was incredible! I had the Mezze plate with chicken. A+. Perfect amount of spice in the chicken which was perfectly cooked. The whipped feta had a honey drizzle with nuts, hummus had a nice flavor, and the noum...OMG. I could have eaten that by itself. It was delicious! The waitress said people either love it or hate it. If you don't love garlic, you will be in group 2 since it's whipped garlic with olive oil and lemon juice. I would recommend if you love Mediterranean. They have burgers ad well, but I cannot vouch for those.

This is a great addition to East. Service was great. They have drink and food specials everyday. Happy hour 4-6. The French fries with toum (garlic dip) is incredible. The fries are so crispy. Chicken sandwich was good. Will be back.

We arrived to the patio bar first and had a great experience with the very informative bar tender. She was helpful and made recommendations for us to choose from for dinner. Patio drinks Jack and Coke double tall and Old Fashion. We were welcomed in with a "happy birthday" and seated promptly. Once seated, Katie came to the table with a bubbly and positive attitude (she was fantastic). She took our order quickly and stayed on top of the beverages. Now here is where the experience went from really good to top-notch--apps, dinner, desserts. Starters Caesar salad with spicy breadcrumbs was the best and most fresh tasting Caesar my husband and I have ever tasted... not too much dressing but very flavorful Truffle potatoes with truffle cream sauce and parsley powder came with a punch of savory flavor and a nice crunch wonderfully delicious. Only disappointment was there was not more! Mussels White Wine with freshly toasted local sourdough bread. The mussels were cooked perfectly and made with a perfect blend of citrus and garlic broth. Dinners Roasted Chicken Pesto Risotto was one of the most flavorful items of the night. Risotto cooked perfectly and the combination of ingredients matched perfectly. Pan seared Trout was the best dinner of the night, in my opinion. The corn and blend of dill and burre blanc was a magical pairing with the perfectly cooked Trout. So much flavor Dessert Cremeux olive oil cake was fresh and had a nice citrus flavor paired with chocolate cremeux and raspberries. Very unique but worth the try! Sticky Toffee Pudding So many flavors with this. This one was my favorite, but it was "if held hostage I would choose" situation because everything was so tasty! The server got the kitchen to make me a French Toast Bread Pudding even after the kitchen had stopped serving it for the day (brunch menu). All desserts are amazing! It was quite heavenly, but I do wish it was a bit bigger for the price... My friends both got the Avocado Toast and a few of us ordered sides of chicken sausage (and yeah, that was good and they were also a good size, plus 3 links were included in each order). We finished quite quickly but were in a deep convo about who knows what, but never felt rushed to leave (probs as it was kind of between service times, but still, appreciated). Def need to go back for Dinner and another little retreat!

We chose the restaurant to celebrate my daughter's birthday and, as we have done on previous visits, ordered the Chef's Special for our party of three. While we were surprised to see the price had increased by $15 per person since our last visit, we expected the same high-quality dining experience that has always made the restaurant a favorite. Unfortunately, the service and pacing fell well short of those expectations. Dinner lasted more than two hours from start to finish, with excessive waits between nearly every course. What should have been an enjoyable celebratory meal became increasingly frustrating as the evening progressed. Our server appeared attentive and engaged with surrounding tables throughout the night, yet we frequently felt overlooked. There were extended periods where we were unable to get refills or assistance, leaving us feeling forgotten and, quite literally, thirsty. By the end of the evening, we had to request that the "sweet treat" be packaged to go, and the response from our server came across as irritated rather than accommodating. This was our first time being seated on the outdoor patio, but regardless of seating location, the level of service should be consistent throughout the restaurant. In the end, we spent well over $300 and left feeling frustrated, exhausted, and disappointed rather than celebrated. For a restaurant that has built a reputation on exceptional food, hospitality, and attention to detail, this experience missed the mark. Significant price increases are easier to accept when they are accompanied by an equally elevated dining experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case on this visit, and it has left us questioning whether we will return in the future.
