    Avocado Toast

We came here with a group of five and loved every minute. The whole space is super chill -- bright, colorful, and packed with personality. Between the music, the quirky art, and the cozy lounge vibe, it's the kind of place you could hang out for hours. Food was just as good as the atmosphere: * The avocado toast was a stunner, topped with pickled onions, chili crunch, and a perfectly cooked egg. * The pancakes were fluffy, buttery, and came with fresh berries -- classic comfort brunch done right. * The crispy chicken sandwich & fries was a total win: crunchy chicken, fresh toppings, and those seasoned fries that disappeared fast. * Even the simple sides -- crispy bacon and a bowl of fresh berries -- were on point. * Drinks were great too -- my raspberry matcha latte was smooth, creamy, and Insta-worthy with that latte art. This spot nails it: great food, beautiful presentation, and an atmosphere that makes you want to linger. Perfect for brunch with friends, or just grabbing a coffee and soaking in the vibe.

What an unexpected surprise! I recently met a friend for a late breakfast at the All-Day Cafe. If you've never been to Waymore's, it's time to change that. The lobby is creative and modern - with funky greenery and artsy displays throughout. The cafe is situated just to the left of the lobby, but in a nice, airy open-concept. It's open seating, and there were plenty of tables still available when we arrived on a weekday around 10AM ... though I can imagine it gets very busy on weekends and during peak travel season! I ordered a shot of espresso (it was OK) and Waymore's take on avocado toast (it was delicious!) Crispy sourdough toast is topped with chili oil, pickled onions, and soft-boiled eggs ... making the perfect breakfast when you're in the mood for something light. This seems like a wonderful spot to work remotely. You'll certainly encounter some folks coming and going - but it's quiet enough that you can put your headphones on and be productive. I'm sure I'll be back soon!

I was looking for a new breakfast spot this morning and came across Waymore's. This boutique hotel has a very cute lobby with an onsite cafe. Our waiter Johnny was amazing. He was very attentive and answered all our questions. Now when it comes to the food it was just ok. My pancakes were cooked perfectly but nothing special. The sausage was a tab bit spicy but good. My mom got the GuestHouse Breakfast. She said it was ok but not her personal preference. Overall not a bad spot to try but wasn't for us.

I made a brunch reservation here and was seated promptly. We came for the bottomless mimosas for $30, which did not disappoint. It was the perfect morning activity after a long night of drinking. We stayed for three hours and by the end they just brought out the bottles for us to DIY, it was a nice touch I'm not gonna sugarcoat it, the sausage here sucks. Everything else in the guesthouse breakfast was fine. I did not see it on the menu but I also got a side of pancakes to make it a sweet and savory breakfast

Great spot for brunch. They have a few booths to accommodate larger groups. The decor was super cool and the furniture was colorful. I tried the pancakes and my boyfriend tried the chicken sandwich. Both were good and were generous portions. The almond joy latte was also delicious and not too sweet.

LOVED the vibes at All Day Cafe! The furniture and decor is so bright, modern, and fun. The Photo Booth was a blast! It was the cherry on top that the food and drinks were scrumptious.

Went on a Thursday morning for a breakfast meeting. There were other people around working so the atmosphere was chill. The coffee bar area doubles as the hotel check in too but there was plenty of space. I feel like this food was made with care and attention. My friend got the avocado toast and I went for the breakfast plate (it came with meat but I don't eat pork and didn't want the beyond sausage so I doubled up on potatoes). Even though it was a simple eggs, potatoes and biscuit it was good. (You'd be surprised at how places can do something so classic so wrong lol) I added my own salt and pepper to the eggs but the potatoes were seasoned to perfection and the biscuit seemed homemade. It all came out hot and fresh within a decent amount of time. I'll definitely be coming back to work however, I didn't see any outlets where I was sitting if I needed to plug in my computer or charge my phone.

    Great study area. Good chai.

Plenty of seating to study or chat with friends. Indoor and outdoor. I tried the iced chai and it nothing crazy, just good.

Food ambience music service, all superb! I had the smash burger the wings and the shrimp Sammy and they all were spectacular. This place definitely deserves some more recognition. It's a scratch kitchen with all very fresh and tasty ingredients! Will deff be back!

We arrived to the patio bar first and had a great experience with the very informative bar tender. She was helpful and made recommendations for us to choose from for dinner. Patio drinks Jack and Coke double tall and Old Fashion. We were welcomed in with a "happy birthday" and seated promptly. Once seated, Katie came to the table with a bubbly and positive attitude (she was fantastic). She took our order quickly and stayed on top of the beverages. Now here is where the experience went from really good to top-notch--apps, dinner, desserts. Starters Caesar salad with spicy breadcrumbs was the best and most fresh tasting Caesar my husband and I have ever tasted... not too much dressing but very flavorful Truffle potatoes with truffle cream sauce and parsley powder came with a punch of savory flavor and a nice crunch wonderfully delicious. Only disappointment was there was not more! Mussels White Wine with freshly toasted local sourdough bread. The mussels were cooked perfectly and made with a perfect blend of citrus and garlic broth. Dinners Roasted Chicken Pesto Risotto was one of the most flavorful items of the night. Risotto cooked perfectly and the combination of ingredients matched perfectly. Pan seared Trout was the best dinner of the night, in my opinion. The corn and blend of dill and burre blanc was a magical pairing with the perfectly cooked Trout. So much flavor Dessert Cremeux olive oil cake was fresh and had a nice citrus flavor paired with chocolate cremeux and raspberries. Very unique but worth the try! Sticky Toffee Pudding So many flavors with this. This one was my favorite, but it was "if held hostage I would choose" situation because everything was so tasty! The server got the kitchen to make me a French Toast Bread Pudding even after the kitchen had stopped serving it for the day (brunch menu). All desserts are amazing! If you go to this hidden gem, prepare to have your tastebuds in overdrive! Wonderful service, amazing food and overall blown away experience! We will be back and will continue to support this local business that supports other local businesses!!!! Go see Katie and the team!!!

Didn't feel like I was right in the heart of bustling East Nashville - felt like a little retreat. The service was great and so patient with us as we were quite indecisive. Especially since it was a new menu and there were no pics online (then I totally forgot to take pics to help future yelpers not fall to my fate, alas!). I landed on the French Toast Bread Pudding. It was quite heavenly, but I do wish it was a bit bigger for the price... My friends both got the Avocado Toast and a few of us ordered sides of chicken sausage (and yeah, that was good and they were also a good size, plus 3 links were included in each order). We finished quite quickly but were in a deep convo about who knows what, but never felt rushed to leave (probs as it was kind of between service times, but still, appreciated). Def need to go back for Dinner and another little retreat!

This visit was a surprisingly disappointing departure from the consistently excellent experiences…read morewe've had at Butcher & Bee over the years. We chose the restaurant to celebrate my daughter's birthday and, as we have done on previous visits, ordered the Chef's Special for our party of three. While we were surprised to see the price had increased by $15 per person since our last visit, we expected the same high-quality dining experience that has always made the restaurant a favorite. Unfortunately, the service and pacing fell well short of those expectations. Dinner lasted more than two hours from start to finish, with excessive waits between nearly every course. What should have been an enjoyable celebratory meal became increasingly frustrating as the evening progressed. Our server appeared attentive and engaged with surrounding tables throughout the night, yet we frequently felt overlooked. There were extended periods where we were unable to get refills or assistance, leaving us feeling forgotten and, quite literally, thirsty. By the end of the evening, we had to request that the "sweet treat" be packaged to go, and the response from our server came across as irritated rather than accommodating. This was our first time being seated on the outdoor patio, but regardless of seating location, the level of service should be consistent throughout the restaurant. In the end, we spent well over $300 and left feeling frustrated, exhausted, and disappointed rather than celebrated. For a restaurant that has built a reputation on exceptional food, hospitality, and attention to detail, this experience missed the mark. Significant price increases are easier to accept when they are accompanied by an equally elevated dining experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case on this visit, and it has left us questioning whether we will return in the future.

The…read morerestaurant was completely packed when we visited, so I'm really glad I booked a table well in advance. They have a relatively small entrée menu, and the entrées are definitely on the pricey side. However, they have a great selection of appetizers and smaller plates, which makes it easy to try a variety of dishes. I decided to go with the Chef's Choice option, where the chef decides what you eat. Honestly, I'm really glad I went with this because it allowed us to experience a wide variety of dishes without having to choose everything ourselves. We started with fried potatoes with green garlic chimichurri and whipped feta with dip. The whipped feta was absolutely amazing and one of the first highlights of the meal. We then received a couple of special bite-sized appetizers, including bacon-wrapped dates and beet falafel bites. The bacon-wrapped date was delicious, and the beet falafel was a fun and flavorful bite. The halibut sushi was good, but the real surprise for me was the avocado and crispy rice salad. This dish was absolutely out of this world! The crispy rice added an amazing texture, and the combination of flavors was fantastic. For the entrée, we had the house kebab platter, which came with house shishito peppers, fried okra, mushrooms, chicken and steak kebabs, along with a side of fermented pepper. There was a lot going on with this platter, and it was a great way to finish the savory part of the meal. We ended dinner with the peach and almond Malabi, which was delicious and a perfect way to finish the meal. Overall, Butcher & Bee completely lived up to my expectations. The Chef's Choice experience was definitely the right decision, especially for someone like me who loves trying different dishes. The food was creative, flavorful, and full of interesting combinations. The only thing to keep in mind is that the entrées can be quite expensive, but the smaller plates give you a chance to sample a lot of different flavors. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time because this place fills up quickly!

We were able to make a reservation a couple days before for a Saturday dinner. Staff was attentive and gave good suggestions. Everything was nicely plated and I think overall the dishes were good, but I didn't personally think I needed to have anything again per say. What we ordered: + smoked bone marrow - pickled red onion & parsley salad, smoked salt, grilled FM sourdough - generous to make sure we had 4 pieces, one for each of us, bread was toasted to near burnt, and I wish there was more herbs/onions to eat with + queso fondito - PRB chorizo, pumpkin seeds, cilantro, warm tortillas, escabeche - nice cheese blend, but I think it was missing some more oomph, I think I prefer the crunchy chip than tortilla + SM grilled 12oz bone-in pork chop - TN smoked cheddar mac and cheese, braised greens, TN chow chow - Not our favorite entree but I liked the cheddar mac + beef short rib stroganoff - Nicoletto's rigatoni, roasted onion, mushroom & garlic, sour cream - my favorite dish of the night! A unique way to present a classic dish and I thought it was delicious. + Empanadas - crispy exterior and good filling, the chimichurri was more oil-tasting than additional flavor + Gem salad with fried tomatoes - I like the fried tomatoes! I think a romaine would be better than the gem lettuce as it was a little soft. We were stuffed afterwards so this amount was plenty for 4 people. Price was also reasonable!

The cooks were throwing down in that kitchen! Over a couple of days I tried a few things. SZECHUAN SALAD I got the Szechuan Salad with both kale and spinach. I added tempeh bacon and extra dressing on the side. (It didn't need the extra dressing though.) This salad is SO good! I had to force myself to put the fork down and not overeat. It's a large portion so you can share or save half for another day. (When doing this I recommend getting the dressings on the side to prevent soggy greens.) All of the ingredients tasted super fresh, and that Szechuan tofu was thoroughly marinated. Deliciousness! The tempeh (and at home avocado) that I added wasn't necessary but it sure was tasty. This salad is gluten free. SZECHUAN BRUSSELS I love me some roasted brussels sprouts so it was a must to try theirs. I added jalapeños and Hot Tempeh. I have no idea what Hot Tempeh is but I wanted to try it. Best decision ever. The dish itself is amazing. 10/10! The sprouts are saturated in the Szechuan sauce and spices, so every tender bite bursts with tantalizing flavors in your mouth. The Hot Tempeh is tempeh with a coating. It's quite delicious and it elevated an already soaring experience for me. The Szechuan Brussels dish is gluten free, but the Hot Tempeh is not (because of the breading). DUBAI CHOCOLATE CAKE Because I had to. It was NOT gluten free, but I risked it (I have a gluten sensitivity). They did have a gluten free chocolate cake and a gluten free brownie à la mode dish, but I needed that Dubai Chocolate. It was delicious. BLUEBERRY PANCAKES I ordered a single pancake, gluten free for $1 extra. So fluffy and buttery. You'd never guess it was gluten free or vegan. ROASTED POTATOES Excellent preparation and seasonings. MOCK TUNA MELT Gluten free when ordered as a bowl. It was served on a bed of spinach instead of bread. I omitted the cheese and tomatoes. It was very good and the chipotle sauce had a great kick. TRIPLE CHOCOLATE CAKE Gluten free. Rich. Delicious. Everything I ate here exceeded my expectations. Graze is sure to be one of my go to spots for delicious food when I'm in Nashville.
