Awful experience. Extremely underwhelmed but the "giant" I mean mini arborvitae that we spent a significant amount of money on and are a total let done. Don't trust these people. They will nickel and dime you and leave a pathetic so called tree in the process. Find other landscapers for your own good. read more

I hired Sabia to trim my tree and remove ivy from my house. I specifically told Matt not to touch my daughter's garden and asked Matt if the ivy needles stuck to the siding would come off. He assured me they would I was left with my daughter's barden completely destroyed and an eyesore of ivy needles on my siding. it looks much worse than before. Matt apologized for the garden and said he would make an adjustment to the bill. He didn't--instead offered to replace flowers in the Spring, which is moot because I will never use them again. read more

We had a wonderful experience with our Fall landscaping and cleanup with Sabia ~ from cutting the lawn, Aerating the property, to cleaning up the gardens and pruning some of the trees and bushes back from the overgrowth of the summer gardens. Came out to my jungle of a yard, gave me a fair estimate and finished the job two days later. Very pleased with the work.

Needed a new provider for lawn maintenance. Called the number on the web page and was prompted to pick option #2. Pushed #2 and was connected to a different phone number. As i was leaving a message, received a text from that number saying "sorry i cannot talk- please text me if important." I would assume new business is important to a business owner but i may be wrong. Two minutes later i received another text that apologized but informed me "that they cannot take on any more lawns at this time." The lack of personal interaction and reliance on technology to communicate is poor business relations in my opinion. Thank God, I think i dodged a bullet. read more

I was treated rudely and disrespectfully by Sabia Landscaping staff this morning. As I was walking out of the Covid testing site at the Willow Grove Park mall with my sick infant, a team of Sabia Landscaping staff were standing on the sidewalk outside, next to their truck. I believe they were there to salt the sidewalk because of the impending snow. One of them went to hold the door for me, which I appreciated, but I asked him not to because, as I pointed out, he was not wearing a mask (which is understandable as he was outside, but I am trying to be extra careful with my unmasked, unvaccinated baby). In response, the Sabia staff began mocking and ridiculing me, asking if I could "smell their farts" from where I was. They continued laughing and uttering rude comments as I walked away. I can't speak to their landscaping skills but if this is anything like the way they treat their customers, I would stay far, far away. read more

Sabia Landscaping is the WORST landscaping company to work with and if I could give them ZERO stars, I would. I found this company online and they had decent reviews but the experience that everyone else had was NOT the experience I had. I don't know if it's because I am a female, my age or my race but I was treated very, very, VERY poorly, and not once did I rise my voice or use any indecent language towards them. As a paying customer, I just wanted to improve my yard and for the job to be done correctly. Carmen was the guy I was working with from Sabia Landscaping. I needed to have my land graded and pipes to be put in to drain the water from the gutters away from my house. I should have known from the start to not go with this company when Carmen did not even show up to give me an estimate on the date agreed upon. He did not even have the decency to give me a call/text to say he was not able to make it. However, the next day, he called and said he had some arthritic issues, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and went through with getting an estimate. They were not the cheapest, but they were able to fit me in, so I went with them. WORST mistake ever!!! From then, I had issues getting in contact with Carmen. He did not respond to my texts/ calls/ emails and I had to call into the office every time I needed to get in contact with him. After their first attempt to complete the job my land was eroding where they had put in a pop-top. In addition, they did not lay down any straw over the seeds and of course it rained so some of the seeds were washed away. So, they had to come out again to remove the pop-top and lay down straw. They did not put down any seeds to replace the ones that were washed away, so I have areas where no grass has grown. In addition, now the land at the end of the pipe is eroding. I told Kathy (the lady that works in the office) of the problem and received a call from Matt (the owner of Sabia) on Tues (June 30th). Matt said he would come out Thursday/ Friday to fix the problem, no questions asked. And of course, Thursday/ Friday (July 2,3) came along and no one came. When I reached out to him, he said that rocks where not a part of the estimate, but he would come out and fix the problem first thing on Monday. To my defense, Carmen saw my yard before he gave me the quote for the job that was supposed to include all materials. Why he did not include all the materials needed to get the job done correctly, is a mystery to me. Anyways to no big surprise on Monday (July 6) morning no one came to fix the issue. The job they did for me was not big so for them to have to come three separate occasions is REDICULOUS! Sabia Landscaping does not keep their word and does bad business. This is a WARNING to everyone to NOT do business with Sabia Landscaping. They have horrible customer service and communication skills. They have to come out multiple times to finish a job, and their job will cause other problems to arise to which they will not fix. Learn from my mistake and do not waste your money and time with Sabia Landscaping. read more

If you want to be ripped off, call this company. I just received a bill for lawn cutting for November. I didn't even need lawn cutting in October, let alone November. I was home one day last month and heard commotion outside. It was the lawn service blowing the leaves to the side of the house. (horrible job). So I thought, good they are coming to remove the leaves, that would really help. No, they just blew them to the side (horrible job) and left. They were there about 5 minutes. I can't tell you how much I dislike this company. What a ripoff every month for lawn cutting. They do not do a good job and I am sick of them billing me for such lousy work. Never again!! read more

An employee came out provided a verbal estimate on tree removal and landscape work. The estimate was on par with the other tree removal and landscape estimates i had received. I choose Sabia because that was the only company that could provide both pieces of the project (easier to deal with one company than two, so I thought). Sabia finally comes out starts tree removal on a thursday afternoon, while i was at work. The neighbors that live in the home outback complained to us that the workers were rude. The neighbor approached the workers as tree branches were being dropped into their yard. The neighbor proceeded that the employees said, "just throw the branches back over the fence to us." When the neighbor asked the workers to curtail the foul language her children were playing outside they did not do so. During the removal project I received a call from the foreman telling me that they were not going to remove some trees because they were not part of the work order. Which is not true. those trees were the entire reason the project started to begin with. So the guy who gave me the original verbal agreement said no problem, we'll take care of it. Well, they phoned it in, didn't really do a complete job. Then the owner (Bruce) showed up before the landscape project was to begin saying the guy who gave the verbal proposal was wrong, that his company never works without a signed contract that the he "needed more money from me" He continued to imply that I took advantage of the verbal agreement, I told I would show him the other estimates I had received, he refused to look at them. So on a handshake i agreed to pay an extra 400$ to have the job done (actually 100$ more than the verbal estimate, 400$ more than the initial agreed upon price). "We will come out today and finish the job", he said. Awful job!!!!!!! Knocked over our permanently placed basketball poll/ net, didn't weed one of three beds, didn't do full spring clean up left 2 of the beds full of pine needles, left stepping stones stacked on the grass, by the time we saw the grass was dead underneath. Buyer beware!!!!!!!! Unprofessional company, awful job, yes partly my fault for working without a contract, never again....... read more

They had to remove a big dead oak tree- over my greenhouse no less- not even a scratch could be found anywhere on the glass! The icing on the cake was how well they cleaned up. The crew was wonderful- very courteous and friendly. Will definitely hire them back to take down my other oak next year. read more
