We walked in and were greeted by a friendly hostess who seated us immediately. The place is larger than we were expecting. Lovely decor. Fun music. It was about 1/3 full which I'd expect for a Wednesday evening. Menu had a nice selection and everything looked good. Sadly, that's all I can say because after 17 minutes not a single waitress or waiter acknowledged our presence at the table. No one brought us water. No one came to say hello. Been coming since they were located off division. The new location is very spacious and on Fridays and Saturday its one big party. The food here is unbelievable. Ive yet to have something i didnt like. Theyre very generous with their portions Prices are great. Servers are amazing. They have a party room for private events. Theres an inhouse DJ on Fridays and Saturdays. They also have a little dance floor by the dj booth if you feel like dancing. If you dont like noisy restaurants id advise to avoid Fridays and Saturdays because they trend to get very busy but worth the wait. read more

The restaurant was busy, in little time they arranged tables for our group and accommodated us. It was a very exceptional experience. Tonight they had live music! It added to the ambience and everyone was having a great time. Food came out quickly and as requested. The staff was very polite and professional. The food was delicious and portions were very generous! All of the dishes and beverages are priced very well. We will definitely return to this restaurant in the near future. Yesterday on a casual Monday my husband and I were in long island and decided to try this place. I give it a 3 star because we order the bandeja paisa which they call sabor a colombia and was very dissapointed. Firstable it was not a traditional paisa it was missing the arepa and the portion was extremly small like for a child. In comparison to other Colombian restaurants that we havr been it is not worth it. It was one tiny piece of the carnr asada a very thin pork grind, a half of a chorizo and no arepa as tradition. Used to be our favorite restaurant. The food is still amazing and the new place is stunning. However we Went to go pick up food today after calling it in and the order was half wrong. The woman could barely hear me over the phone - because of the loud music playing in the restaurant at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon. We had planned to eat there but thank goodness we did not. It was so loud ! Totally ruins sitting down and enjoying a meal. That music could be fine for after 10pm on weekends but kept at a dining level otherwise. I've always seen this place and always wanted to try it. I called in for take out. I pulled up the menu on my phone and decided to try the half chicken lunch special and an empanada. The person taking the order didn't speak English very well but I thought my order would be correct. I arrive and park in the back parking lot and walked into an empty restaurant. There was a woman behind the counter which I assume was the manager. She started to ring me up when I realized my bag seemed very light. I couldn't wait to come here. I am Colombian and I was looking forward to a great night. We arrived at 7:30 and put our name on the wait list and received a beeper. The bar was packed. We waited 20 minutes and my his al fin finally had to get loud to get a drink. We were waiting for two more couples, one coming all the way from NJ. Waited the hour they initially said. About an hour and 15 minutes in we asked about our table and the hostess's and they said about 15 more minutes. I have been here a few times and have loved every dish I have ever tried, most notably the Pollo con Champiñones. A thinly sliced large chicken breast is covered in a delicious mushroom sauce with a separate side plate of white rice and fries. This meal is definitely fulfilling. Make sure you add the rice into the sauce, it's simply amazing! Many other fine dishes, however their prices have significantly risen since the last time I was there. There was a great textural contrast between the crispy outside and the soft, tender inside. For the main course, I had a 1/4 of a rotisserie chicken with French fries, rice, and chicken soup.
