My family went here during COVID-19. They were doing a great job spacing tables out to keep people apart inside. We wanted to sit outside just to be extra careful. It was a beautiful day and they have a pergola to prevent too much sun. We were provided service quickly and kindly. There were maybe four servers who checked on us, refilled water, cleared plates, etc. We had three orders of Bandeja Paisa (my family loves this plate) and I ordered the grilled chicken breast. Saturday night we came here for dinner. It was 8:30pm and it was really crowded. It took about 5 minutes for the host to show up, but when she did we were able to sit down immediately. I ordered the piña colada, delicious! Would get again. For starters I really wanted their empanadas. I LOVE Colombian empanadas! But they said they didn't have any... not sure how that happens. Our salads arrived before we got our drinks... I ordered the arroz con pollo and hubby ordered the grilled steak. Food was phenomenal! When my food arrived, I asked the waitress for a seltzer water since I was done with my piña colada. I basically ate my whole meal without a drink. If you know me, I'm a big drinker. I had to get a different waitress' attention and let her know that my waitress forgot my drink. The lady found my waitress and let her know. My drink finally arrived but I asked for a box and the check. When it was time to sign the receipt, my husband noticed that she charged us someone else's order (double our amount) he got her attention and she said sorry for the mixup. She had to void the transaction and then charge us for our bill. I would give this place one star for poor service from beginning to end. It was about 1/3 full which I'd expect for a Wednesday evening. Menu had a nice selection and everything looked good. Been coming since they were located off division. The new location is very spacious and on Fridays and Saturday its one big party. The food here is unbelievable. Ive yet to have something i didnt like. Theyre very generous with their portions Prices are great. Servers are amazing. They have a party room for private events. Theres an inhouse DJ on Fridays and Saturdays. They also have a little dance floor by the dj booth if you feel like dancing. If you dont like noisy restaurants id advise to avoid Fridays and Saturdays because they trend to get very busy but worth the wait. read more

The restaurant was busy, in little time they arranged tables for our group and accommodated us. It was a very exceptional experience. Tonight they had live music! Yesterday on a casual Monday my husband and I were in long island and decided to try this place. I give it a 3 star because we order the bandeja paisa which they call sabor a colombia and was very dissapointed. Firstable it was not a traditional paisa it was missing the arepa and the portion was extremly small like for a child. In comparison to other Colombian restaurants that we havr been it is not worth it. It was one tiny piece of the carnr asada a very thin pork grind, a half of a chorizo and no arepa as tradition. My favorite drink is their Jugo De Mora en Leche. They do overcharge I'll be honest but their service is great and it's worth it. Everytime I leave this spot, I leave filled haha. The woman could barely hear me over the phone - because of the loud music playing in the restaurant at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon. We had planned to eat there but thank goodness we did not. A thinly sliced large chicken breast is covered in a delicious mushroom sauce with a separate side plate of white rice and fries. This meal is definitely fulfilling. We waited 20 minutes and my his al fin finally had to get loud to get a drink. We were waiting for two more couples, one coming all the way from NJ. Waited the hour they initially said. About an hour and 15 minutes in we asked about our table and the hostess's and they said about 15 more minutes. Thirty minutes later we ask about our table and we are told that everyone in the lobby is also waiting for a table and they cannot tell us when or IF we will be seated?!
