From the outside, the place looks pretty cool and inviting, with several classic cars parked out front that immediately catch your attention. We were greeted by friendly staff, and the atmosphere inside was very lively. We sat down and ordered our food along with some cocktails. The coconut shrimp was just okay--it tasted like it had been fried a bit too long. The chicken with garlic rice and beans was unfortunately very salty, almost to the point of being hard to eat. Our second dish, the ropa vieja, was again just okay and had a noticeable sweetness to it--possibly from the peppers. The drinks were decent, and the place features a dance floor, giving it more of a nightlife vibe than a traditional sit-down restaurant. While I'm not sure I'd return specifically for the food, I would recommend it if you're looking for Latin flavors, drinks, and a fun nightlife atmosphere. read more

What can I say about the Cuban. Everything about this place is top to bottom amazing. We stopped in for dinner this past weekend and got in a little early for our reservation. The front of house staff let us know that we could grab a drink at the bar while our table was prepared, and through a turn of events ended up speaking with the staff and they actually ended up comping our drinks! We were promptly seated and served with warm bread and some type of whipped garlic butter that was incredible. We ordered a few apps, and the cubancitos were a great taste, especially if you don't want to get a whole sandwich as your entree. My wife got the guac, which is prepared table side to liking. For entrees, we got the Lechoncito and the Pollo Sofrito, which were both bursting with flavor and presented perfectly. By the time we were done with out meals, the place was bustling and busy, but unfortunately we missed the live entertainment. I been here a couple of times and I have enjoyed it. The food is good. The old pictures and ambiance makes it feel like you're in Cuba. The vibes are what you come here for. They have live music and on weekends they turn into a lounge with great music and dancing. The service is mediocre if you're around the bar. They do seem like they need more help around the bar when they stop serving the entrees. I asked several employees but they couldn't give an answer when I asked if they kept serving food after 10pm. Which they do. It is only apps or finger food. They are open late and it gets lively so expect a good time. read more

I'll start by saying I came here a few years ago and didn't like it but this past visit changed my mind. Maybe new Chefs? Came for brunch with my parents and overall it gets a 8.5/10 for us. While it was busy all of our food came out quick and was fresh. The bottomless is true bottomless! I appreciate them coming around constantly filling our drinks. Thats very rare and the price you cant beat! Our apps were all good but entrees can use some improvement. My entree was the best one Churrasco bomb. The rice would better in my opinion. Empanadas are really good I haven't had a good empanada in a while. Maduros nice a sweet ! Chicharron de pollo could use more pollo for the price but it was nice and crispy. For dinner I had the CHURRASCO CUBANO, Black angus open flamed grilled skirt steak, chimichurri, arroz moro and maduros topped with pickled onions, my wife and kids had the Vegetarian Paella, Served with carrots, cauliflower, green peas, red and green peppers, crushed tomatoes and sofrito sauce with Saffron rice, and 2 orders of Palomilla En Cebolla, Thinly sliced prime beef, marinated in garlic, lime, juice, topped with caramelized onions, cilantro, served white rice and black beans. Skipped desert but wanted to try Cuban coffee, was a very small portion, like a shot espresso, didn't know what expect. a little pricing for what it was. I'd come back for the full restaurant experience the food was that good. For the starter we had the Cubano mixto (a sampling). I loved the yucca fries. As my entree I had the la campechana which is an entire platter of seafood - lobster, scallops, mussels, and shrimp. It was delicious. Dip some Cuban bread in it and it's amazing. The mojitos were fantastic. They brought out fresh churros for dessert. I'm not a churro person but these were SO GOOD! Service was okay. Has been here twice before and loved the look of it. It has this retro 60's era. They have old cars parked in the front, and palm trees as well. It does share the same building as the bowling alley. Last two times I was here the service was good and we got everything on time. Everything was going well this then around at first but after a my friend and I got out our food out of the way, and got the dessert menu, they took a while to ask if we wanted to order anything off the dessert menu or even wanted the check. The food was really good and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We like this place but a few missteps. Gorgeous day, so we sat outside. Wouldn't have made a difference, they had the doors opened so it would be the same in or out. They have a minor mosquito/fly issue. Maybe some well placed plants that repel bugs would be helpful. Staff is friendly but English seems to a bit of a challenge, we had to point to the menu to order. Food is good and plentiful. This was my first time going here .. they were on my HH list. I went to check it out . Happy hour is Monday - Fri 4-7pm at the bar . Margaritas are 6$(they are strong ) BUT you can't add flavors . If you add a flavor it's regular price when usually it should just be a $1 up charge . Sangria , beer & well drinks are $6 as well! Now when I went I was starving . I check their food out . I liked the calamari it was good just a little salty. I noticed the HH menu quesadilla cubana and the regular menu quesadilla cubana had diff ingredients .. why? That's weird - regardless I got the one I wanted .. ( grilled chicken sweet plantain one )& it was good but I was charged regular price so be careful! ANOTHER THING. A customer paid cash and a processing fee was added to his bill. So I think they may have been robbing people ( the fee is literally a couple cents but it's the principle) & no one should have a processing fee when paying cash . The customer did speak with the manager but that conversation didn't really go anywhere . He just removed the fee from him. So the dancers were fun, energetic and brought the vibe. 2 sets of 30 minutes. Food was mediocre. I'd give it 3 stars, tops. Service was ok, but as in industry person, I did notice A LOT of birthdays and they all had to do the song and dance to those tables, so I get it. Drinks, weak AF. And again, I know what the bartenders 'would' say, "we made it per the recipe".
