This place is outstanding, my girlfriend and I had a long day of running errands. Looking for food, we thought sabor a Colombia was only in Levittown. But right by my house they have a restaurant as well. Let me tell you the vibes and ambiance is so beautiful inside. It feels majestic and magical. FERNANDO give him a raise. He was on top of it with extraordinary service. Made sure we had everything that we needed. The food and the drinks were so delicious. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend and will be back this weekend read more

The food at this place is outstanding, but the service is absolutely horrendous. We had an accident where we bumped a table and spilled a drink. Instead of being hospitable, the manager told us they would just add the replacement drink to our bill! I've never been to a restaurant that charges you to replace an accidental spill. To make matters worse, we asked for forks and they brought us spoons. The staff was so MIA that a few people at our table had to eat with their hands. Unacceptable for a place either food this good. Sabor a Colombia is a great place to watch a Colombia soccer match. The atmosphere when Colombia plays is outstanding, and that's why my family keeps coming back. Unfortunately, the customer service and management have repeatedly left us disappointed. Tonight, the restaurant was packed, and it appeared they were having air conditioning issues. It was extremely hot inside, which I understand can happen. What was harder to understand was being made to feel like we hadn't spent enough money while we were there. Instead of using the World Cup to create loyal customers who will come back long after the tournament ends, it felt like the focus was on squeezing a few extra dollars out of each table. Ironically, my family probably dines there on regular nights far more often than many of the people who only came because Colombia was playing tonight. This wasn't an isolated experience. On another visit, a guest in our party ordered a glass of wine and simply didn't like it after taking a sip. The server took it away and asked if she'd like a different wine, which made us think they were taking care of the situation. Instead, they charged us for both glasses and told us it wasn't their problem that she didn't like the first one. Most restaurants that pride themselves on hospitality would have handled that differently. Another time, we ordered drinks that were listed on the happy hour menu. Because we didn't specifically say "happy hour drinks," they charged us full price. When we pointed it out, management refused to honor the happy hour pricing, even though we ordered the exact drinks being advertised. The food is good (not always hot), and the atmosphere for Colombia matches is excellent. That's what makes this so frustrating. The service and management consistently come across as penny-wise and pound-foolish. Hospitality is about building relationships, not winning a few extra dollars on a single check. I genuinely hope management changes its approach because this restaurant has potential. Right now, it's the customer service--not the food--that keeps us from wanting to return. read more

Yum! Went here last night for the first time. Parking lot was packed so I thought it would be too busy to be seated but when we walked in we were seated right away and the place is HUGE! We did have to wait a few minutes for our waitress (like 10), but she apologized. We ordered empanadas and pechuga de pollo and my husband got the bandeja paisa. Food came out before the drinks. The empanadas were eh, I wouldn't get them again. The crust was so hard it hurt to bite into it and just tasted like grease. I've eaten a lot of them in my lifetime and make them myself so maybe I'm picky. The meals however were delicious! And we both loved what we ordered and would go back! The vibe was lively and loud which was perfect for our 2 year old who can be lively and loud herself but I could see my mother complaining if she was there that she couldn't hear anyone. They have karaoke on Thursdays that I would go back for (free shot for every song you sing). Great experience overall! read more

Came here for an early father's day dinner didn't need to wait no more than 10 mins. Sat us very close the stage. But it was all worth it! The drinks & food were huge and very generous. We ordered the trio appetizer and it never came out. So we end up canceling the order. So the manager came over to apologize for the order and offer us a free dessert. The vibe was AWESOME! If I could give 0 stars I would. Went for the Colombian match and my party got haggled to consume more because our bill wasn't "high enough". They claim they had a sign up the whole time that said everyone had to spend $100 to watch the game. There was a long line, no one in the back saw the one little flyer on the door and this information wasn't disclosed when booking the reservation. Continuously harassing customers is so classless and we will not be back. Also the food was mid. The yuca fries were burnt and the tostones as well. The food also came out suspiciously quick given it was a full house. These people are money hungry and don't care about their customers in any way. read more

My sister and a group of her friends went to Sabor A Colombia on Saturday, June 27, 2026 to watch the Colombian soccer game and the service was very horrible. The waitress said there is a $600 minimum for a table before actually accommodating them for a table quickly. When seated my sister asked a water and the waitress said no water today only bottled water , what a disgrace, swindling the patrons. In addition, she accidentally bumped into another table and knocked down a soda and a water bottle, the waitress again with a negative attitude told to charge it to my sister's bill. This type of service is unacceptable and taken advantage of people trying to have a good time. I hope corporate management will correct this cause the local management at that night didn't. read more

I was in a group of five and we ordered the beef and chicken empanadas (both delicious), a three-tiered appetizer thing and I got the pork chops for dinner. Everything was very well cooked and tasty. A tad bit heavy on the salt, but otherwise great. The entree came with a salad and a soup of sorts that was yummy. A must try Colombian restaurant in Franklin Square. My best friend and I tried the one in Levittown and we both agreed that this location was better. The chicharron with guacamole is honestly the best appetizer in the whole world. We both couldn't get enough of it and honestly it's the best thing ever. I've been here many times with my wife and kids. The food there is amazing, my favorite dish is the chicken with mushoom sauce and white rice. Everyone is is friendly from the hostess to the bartender and waitresses. In the weekends there is usually a DJ and/or live music which is nice. Would highly recommend. read more

They have a wall of pictures of Colombian artist/famous person from different years. The waitress was nice, and accommodated a high chair for the little one. Drinks: I ordered a Michelada de Mango with Modelo beer and fell in love that I went back already 3 separate times after my birthday just to drink one! For appetizers, we ordered the Tostirron (I think that's how it's spelled)- it's tostones with chicharrón and guacamole. For entree, I ordered the carne asada con arepa. My toddler ate grilled chicken with rice and beans. (And I forgot what my husband had) The food was great and cooked to perfection. Not going to lie, I had already come once about a year ago and didn't have a great experience. There are so many colombian restaurants and bakeries to rival Miami! Yes, I went there. Sabor a Colombia is one of these places with latin ambiance, salsa playing in the background and families enjoying there homestyle meals. I'll preface this by sharing that I went to Medellin 4 years ago so I had a particular dish in mind. Decor: I found it to be really nice, vibrant without being extra. Decent lighting, a mix of regular table seating, high tops and bar. Plenty of parking for the size of the establishment. Our server was Camilla, she was great. Personable, attentive and patient with new customers. We ordered the Tostones as our appetizer. That alone could have been a meal. My wife had the Paella. Honestly, that could have fed at least 2-3 people. It was absolutely amazing. Flavorful and the aroma was everything. I ordered the Bandeja Paisa. It was exactly as I had expected. A...mazing. The food was amazing, the ambiance was great. You would think the service would be good but it was complete bs. The staff was incredibly roud didn't have any manners whatsoever. It was almost like we had to beg them to take care of us. It's common courtesy to be there for your table and our server was never found and when we found her she would be found talking. Absolutely delicious food! I ordered the Bandeja and it was well seasoned and tasty. The steak was cooked to perfection and so flavorful! The chorizo was cut in half which I did not appreciate. I came here today to celebrate father's day and we were blown right away. They had a cute chiva (colombian truck) lots of decorations to take pictures. The service was very good and we were treated like royalty. They even removed one chair for my daughters stroller which I appreciated. The arepa bites were very good for an appetizer and tasted out of this world. For drinks my dad and I ordered the maracuya (passion fruit) with water which was $7 which is a little expensive but it comes in a big cup so its basically 2 drinks in one. I'll start by saying I don't their Levittown locations food but decided to try this place. I feel the same. I had salmon that tasted sweet and fishy (not in a good way) and I didn't like it at all. The place is a gem! Came here for lunch and the Bandeja dish was bomb! For under $15. You get a piece of steak, sausage, fried pork belly, fried egg, avocado, rice and beans. Come hungry! The only thing I didn't like was that the bill came there was 1 price. I gave him the cards & the amount was different when he came back. They added 20% gratuity after receiving the bill without it.
