The food was off the chain. I had the al pastor burrito and the pollo mole. Both meals could have feed a small army. The burrito was STUFFED like a fat man in a small suit jacket. The mole, infrequently done correctly, was a perfect combination of peanut and chocolate. Service was exceptional. Ambiance? Not a first date location, but so what.

My standard for Mexican food has never been met in MA, until today. The birria, tacos, bistec a la plancha or any other Mexican food I've had here have been dry, flavorless or burned up until today. My sister got the steak platter and there's enough food in there for 3-4 meals. My tacos were hefty and HEAVY. We'll def be back. The only thing that I didn't love is that you CANNOT buy birria and consomé by themselves in a cup or to go container. We wanted to take meat home to have later, but when we asked, nobody understood what we were asking. Service: we got our food to go, but the service we received while we were there was great. The place was super clean too. There is no customer accessible garbage though. I drank a soda while we waited for food and couldn't throw it out. The woman in front kindly took it for me, so I didn't have to worry about it. Ambiance: pretty standard. Clean spot, ample parking. It's in the plaza next to Classics. Getting door here after drinking would be PHENOMENAL. I def recommend.

Ordered take-out with friends and we all have mixed thoughts…read more I ordered chicken tacos on corn tortillas. The tortillas itself were good. The filling is were it fell short. It was described on the menu as having Marinated grilled chicken tomato, fresco & avocado. It didn't have any avocado at all. It wasn't bad, but it needed some type of oomph. I did add some of the salsa they gave us to help with that. With my tacos was I was given a choice of beans or rice. I went with the refried beans, which were okay. My fiancé had Choripollo, which was Pollo, chorizo, & cheese sauce served over rice. He found 2 pieces of hair in his food. So that was that. My friend had Camarones Diabla, which was described as Pan-seared shrimp, in a spicy chipotle sauce. Served with rice & Garlic bread. His dish came with about 8 shrimp and no garlic bread. My other friend had a chicken burrito. He said it was good. Eh. Proceed with caution I guess. It's very hit or miss.

Drinks were huge, tasty, and strong. There was even live music which was so fun! The staff made the birthday extra special with candles, a song by the guitarist, so thank you for that. Our waitress kept walking over to us with her phone pressed to her ear. The first time it was the restaurant phone, and I thought to myself that they were busy with takeout. I was wrong as the rest of the time it was her cell phone pressed to her ear or on speaker phone. She could not care less about the service she was providing. We ordered margaritas and I was very disappointed. They did not taste good at all and tasted completely like drink mix and not a true house made margarita. The stars I am giving this place is for the food. We ordered the chicken mofongo and it was very tasty. I ordered it with the crema. We also had fresh made guacamole which was also quite good. My advice to the owner is to hire staff that actually like to interact with your patrons. I worked in the restaurant industry for many years and wouldn't have made much money if I treated my customers like that.

From the friendly greeting we received, to the warm chips with cool, herbaceous salsa, the complimentary savory soup, the start of our meal was exemplary. Then came the tacos, I had the Al Pastor, and my Wife had the chicken. Just Amazing! The tortillas were crispy and chewy at the same time, as they should be. The meats were tender, cooked, and seasoned properly, and were very flavorful. I've had refried beans all over the USA, and these were about the best I've ever had. Not the typical unseasoned, anonymous mess you get at a typical local Tex-Mex wanna-be. I'm so happy that this place is less than 10 minutes from my house! We're planning to be regulars!

We chose to sit at the bar because it was trivia night. It was loud, but we managed to have a conversation. The trivia host seemed to really enjoy himself and used the microphone quite a bit. If trivia isn't your thing, it's best to avoid coming on trivia night. Most of the food looked good. I ordered the burnt ends with fries and was surprised to find the meat served in cubes. I had never seen it prepared this way before. While it was tasty, it was quite dry, so I added BBQ sauce to make it easier to eat. The French fries were heavily salted, making them difficult to enjoy. As for the cornbread, it didn't resemble cornbread at all. It had a nice flavor, but it was definitely not what I expected.
