I was on the hunt for some cute vacation attire for a trip to the Caribbean. I normally don't love shopping in stores because as a tall woman, I tend to have trouble finding items that fit my build. I had heard about Sabrak Boutique and thought their clothes looked cute online so decided to pop in the Bellflower location. As soon as I walked in, British greeted me and was so lively, giving me compliments on my appearance and asking how she could help me. I casually told her I was just looking for an outfit for my trip and she immediately started grabbing items that she thought would look nice on me. Between her and my selections, I had 17 items to try on! She has a great eye and picked out items for me I would not have picked that ended up looking great on me that I purchased! Come to the store on Tuesday or Saturday to get a great experience with her. She also helped zip and adjust all the items on me. This was the best shopping experience I've ever had! The jumpers and two piece sets were long enough for me, a 6 foot tall woman - I was sooo pleasantly surprised! What I like about about this place is that it's a boutique, so it's unlikely that someone else will have your same exact dress at your event. They have a nice selection of dresses, though most of them had very high slits and mid-level cutouts. I had to redirect the sales lady that I was looking for something a little more "President's wife and not side-piece." She laughed, and I liked that they were trying to pull additional options for me, even if they weren't something that I was interested in. The cons of shipping here are that the prices are higher than a department store, and dresses are all final sale. They also don't do holds. It makes it a higher pressure decision since they probably only have one dress of each style in your size, so you have to make your choice immediately and you can't change your mind. All in all, I was in a time crunch for an event I have coming up shortly so I bought the dress so I did find something and it's lovely for the occasion. When I returned on Tuesday, the management said I had violated the return policy. I wasn't requesting my money back. How are you going tongive 7 days to exchange, when younarent even open 7 daysI actually wanted to purchase a more expensive item. In today's climate of good customer relations. SABRAK fails. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS STORE EVER! As much success as they have had, it will not continue to thrive. Let me tell you something: I am six feet tall and not slender. I'm not overweight I'm just not the "sample sale" store size. I've been watching (stalking) this store since they opened another location in Bellflower (original store is in Inglewood). I often am challenged with leg and arm length because of my height. I decided to finally take a deep breath, brave the wild, and come into the boutique. I already knew from social media posts and window displays their clothes were beautiful. Well I was not disappointed. Moreover I was greeted by Priscilla, who was a delightful person. Felt like I was talking to a good friend or family member. While I was perusing the store she was quietly sizing me up and suggested some outfits. I say quietly because she fit my size. Which is hard for most. The three outfits were as gorgeous as any of the other outfits in there. Out of the three I loved two of them. The way my indecisiveness is set up I couldn't decide on which ones but I think I'm going to get both - and then some. My short term goal was to purchase a dress for an evening wedding on a yatch in August. I think now my short and long term goal is to become a regular customer. I came to this store today because I was looking for A dress for a party and I follow they're page on Instagram and always thought they had cute stuff. When I walked in I was greeted by a older women with short hair. As I started to shop she kept staring at me like I was going to steal something and as soon as I pick up a dress I liked she ran over to me and ask if I wanted to try it on and took it away and put it in the fitting room again made me feel like she thinks I'm going to steal then when I asked her for a dress on a manikin she said that the last one and it's a Xs and I said okay can I try it on and she looked at me up and down and said u still wanna try it on even thou it's a xs which was so rude to me and Over all the clothes are really cute here but the customer service is the worst.
