This is the local watering hole that is a great sports bar also.. We got to enjoy wing night which was .89 cents wings that are large and meaty... they were amazing.. we also tried cheese sticks another home run the must try are the fried zucchini... beer prices just right, wings large and in charge at a great price along with many sandwiches and apps to chose from. Great place to catch a game.

This was our first visit, but definitely not my last. Our server was amazing. She was very friendly and kept our drinks filled. We got the Corona and Thai wings. The wings arrived piping hot and tasted delicious. The wings have a lot of meat on the bone and are well worth the price. The inside of the building is not fancy, but clean and comfortable.

The wings are the best that I've had in Morgantown. The few soups I have tried were great too. Nice staff and environment.

Food was typical of any other place. Slow, rude server. Overcharged. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.

We ordered wings and alcohol. The wings were cooked perfectly and the hot wing sauce was exactly what I was looking for

The environment is about typical for what a sports bar would be like, with the neon signs and TVs on every wall.

Archie's used to be the gem of Sabraton--a good place to get wings and drinks with friends. My…read morehusband and I took some friends who were in town to Archie's, and everything that could have gone wrong basically did. The restaurant has new owners and a new menu as a result. We put in our drink and food orders and waited and waited...and waited--until all of our drinks were empty. When our food finally came out all six of us had at least one item missing from what we had ordered. My friend ordered the mac and cheese which was supposed to include bacon and onions but seemed to just be plain Velveeta. On the other hand, the potato skins were filled with piles of onions. To top it off, our dinners were consumed with no drinks. My friend spoke to who she was told was the mangager twice who informed her that our waitress was new (and clearly did not receive proper training before beginning) as her way of apologizing. We finally asked for our checks and waited for 20 minutes to get them. We received no apology from the management and but just a measly $2 off our check. One of my friends paid in cash and was owed money back, and the waitress shorted her some of her change indicating that "they don't give (coin) change back." I will not be returning to Archie's anytime in the near future. Luckily, we were able to warn some Baylor fans who had come in to try Mario's Fishbowl instead. Please take my advice as they did and avoid Archie's until the new owners figure out how to run a restaurant or Bar Rescue decides to take them on.

Used to have the best wings in town and the brew fries were awesome. None of those things are there anymore. Every good wing sauce is gone, don't even have BBQ...and the new fries are pathetic. Service was terrible. Took 20 minutes to get drinks, our appetizer never came, and over an hour for 4 orders of wings and fries. Avoid at all costs until management changes. I will never go back.

In any case we placed our orders, I ordered the breakfast platter special, which was fried chicken and biscuits with country sausage gravy my wife ordered the eggs Benedict my daughter for her birthday ordered the French toast with two eggs and my son ordered the chicken and waffles. Talking first about the chicken and waffles. I've come to see that many locations offer chicken and waffles. This being about average for what I would consider chicken and waffles as it was a small filet cut in a half upon a very thin flat waffle, which would've done better to be a Belgian waffle with a much fluffier plump chicken filet. My son did enjoy it but when he finished it the server came by and he says did you enjoy that? Was it good, it must've been good because you ate everything! Then let's discuss my wife's eggs Benedict, which she thoroughly loved. However, the ham looked like it was sliced deli ham for a sandwich instead of Canadian bacon or a little thicker slice of country ham. It's not my call, as my wife said she enjoyed it. My daughter enjoyed her stuffed French toast and egg. Everything was cooked to her liking and she said it had a good flavor and of all four dishes that certainly was the best of the four. as for the last dish, my Sriracha sausage gravy, fried chicken and biscuit with home fries, the jury is still out as the home fries came out a little overdone and cold. The sausage gravy looks like somebody spread it on with a paintbrush, and it wasn't very warm. The chicken was warm and did taste good and the biscuit was good, but it made no sense when the server said, it comes smothered in sausage gravy. Take a look at the picture, and it looks more like a couple tablespoons of gravy on each biscuit with the chicken. We did have a good time and the ambience of the place was very nice, especially seated along the windows looking at the snow outside and perhaps we'll give it another shot at a later date. Overall, nothing over the top but nothing to make us fear coming back either. It was just kind of middle of the road, but I am glad that the nicest dish and the best presentation went to my daughter for her 20th birthday. At least that was a saving grace as well as the lunch with the movie, listening to the various antics and chatter coming from the server.
