Never returns calls. Not there when hours say they are open. Crews have gotten worse and worse over the years

This is why we ended up going with them instead of other competitors. Their prices did come in higher then other pool companies but the guarantee that our pool would be up and functional by the time we left is why we went with them. The installers came out quickly to measure the pool and ordered our liner and were out within the time frame to complete the liner installation. All was good. We got all call from the office team about a pump issue and were able to get good advice on proceeding. After the installers left however they left some equipment running and our hose also running to fill up the pool. However they left while we were at work and no one called us so we did not know that we needed to stop the hose and I specifically fill level. We ended up turning off the hose when the pool was full. The installers came back and told us that we filled the pool too high and they would have to pump out gallons of water to do the final things they needed to do. When letting them know we were not informed of this and it would be a pretty costly mistake all we got was a shrug. Also the company is large which I understand but if you miss call from them and call back and get a different person in the office they generally don't know what you're talking about. All in all we are pretty happy with our service and the pool looks great but for the price we would have hoped for better communication and customer service.

Naturally, we chose to stick with them for our pool opening, but the entire experience was a disaster from communication to technical execution. Scheduling was easy, and I was explicitly told I could pay by check, with a credit card kept on file strictly as a backup. On the morning of our service (which had a massive 12 PM - 7 PM window), I called at 9am to request an invoice so I could have the check ready. No one called me back. Instead, around noon--before any technician had even arrived at my house--my card was automatically charged. When I called to ask why my "backup" card was charged, it took forever to get a callback, and when I did, I received absolutely no explanation and I guess I was just paying with card. The technicians arrived, connected our salt cell, and explicitly told us the pool was "all set," the salt cell was functioning perfectly, and we should run it as a saltwater pool. This surprised us, as the previous owners had run it as a chlorine pool for the last few years, and we had already invested in chlorine tabs and test kits. It turns out Juliano's technicians have no idea what they are looking at. We checked the panel that exact evening and saw an error message. After doing our own research, we thought maybe the salinity was just low. Fourteen bags of salt later, the salinity was perfect, but the cell was still not pulling a current. It was completely dead. When we checked with our family member, they confirmed the salt cell had been broken for years--which is exactly why they switched to chlorine. Had Juliano's actually tested the equipment instead of lying and saying it worked, we would have just stuck with our original plan to run a chlorine pool. Instead, their poor advice led to us spending $1,000+ on a new salt cell and bags of salt--a massive, unexpected expense that was absolutely not in our budget this summer. To make matters worse, the confirmation email we received after the service contained photos that **were not even of our pool**. If they can't even match the right photos to the right customer account, I have zero faith that the service notes or actual work performed on our property were accurate. When I called and emailed Juliano's to remedy this, I asked them to at least come back out and install the new functioning salt cell for free to actually finish the job they started. They completely denied the request, claiming "the salt cell must have gone bad after the service." We noticed it was broken the *very same night* they left. It didn't magically break in five hours; their technicians just didn't do their jobs. They also claimed there were no notes that the salt cell wasn't working but I doubt the correct notes are on the account when the photos aren't even of our property. Juliano's is disorganized, possesses poor technical expertise, and has zero customer service. Do not trust them with your pool.

Perhaps it is telling that the reviews here are dated. Here's our story:…read moreWe bought a house with a pool. We had no idea how to care for it and called Teddy Bear. They came out and gave us a once through. We used them to close that year and open the next. The opening was sloppy with things tossed around the yard, but I hadn't been home so I talked to Teddy, texted him pics, and let it go. Last fall they came and closed the pool. Again things were strewn about, but this time they were all on the deck, so some improvement. Unbeknownst to us, Teddy Bear technicians had broken the pipe that goes from the filter to the pool. I don't know what that's called, a return maybe? Anyway, this spring we tried to fill the pool per their instructions. I had noted that it should take a couple of hours. We ran a steady, very strong steam for 4 hours and the water level barely moved. I did this for three days. The opening team said they can't test anything bc we didn't fill the pool. I continued to fill and continue and then some more. The water level wasn't moving. Perplexed, I begin walking around the pool looking for the culprit when I see a steady stream of water flowing from under the deck. I turned off the water and climb under. The pipe that used to go from the filter back into the pool was destroyed. When we contacted Teddy Bear they said it wasn't their fault. Then, they said the winterizing plug would have prevented the fill problem. Lastly, Mario said the pipe froze. To that I respond: had the techs been paying attention they'd have seen the problem. Plugging the basket had no effect when the 'return' was acting like a bathtub overflow. And an open pipe with no water in it and buried does not freeze. Mario was rude and hung up on us when my wife was trying to explain all the factors that make it clear this happened when they closed the pool last year. Update: Upon learning of our experience Ted called and scheduled a visit to our home. He came out, assessed the issues, and after explaining way more about chemicals and the history of Teddy Bear Pools than we needed to know, he fully resolved the entire problem. Ted is a talker and a salesman to the core. He ensured we were happy with the end result and even called the next day to see if we had any questions or concerns we had not addressed. An exceptional response.

I have called Caribbean clear Agawam Poolman and was surprised to get in so quickly because everybody was saying how they have difficulties setting up appointment open pools . We bought the house in January and our pool wasn't closed. Therefore I knew we're gonna have trouble cleaning out the pool however, I said professionals would help, they came on April 25. Look at the pool check pump filters. Everything was working conditions Jacob one of the crew guy said they seen pools in the worst condition. He did put significant amount of shock other chemicals and left saying that he's gonna be back in a couple days to check it out. Which he did, he had more chemicals said that my chlorinator need to be changed was leaking and I was OK with that. so they charge me $700 but my pool was green. I texted my pool picture to the company and said do you think after $700 your pool should be looking like this(green). Since my balance wasn't paid , Tim who is the owner of the company came in look at my pool ,cleaned my filter say that he's not going to charge me for the visit, but I need to clean my filter much more often. for next 3 days my husband was shocking and cleaning but pool was still green. I went Nanci and bought recommended chemicals Algeciras and Blue to Clear.. We clean our filter every two hours, but my pool still greenish blue with yellow sediment on the bottom and walls. By the way, Tim told me to do that and then he will come and vacuum the pool if this wouldn't work. he also mentioned that they have significant balance that should pay even though my due date was not in the week. came to be due date I went and paid $700. Then I went to the store and then end of the May, his wife told me that they just need to do phosphate treatment, which I paid another $50 for and she will let him know and he will get back to me about finishing cleaning the pool. When first time Jacob came my husband, and I said we wanted to pull Crystal clear with clear wall and the bottom and us that's gonna be after all this done . that evening, Tim's wife sent me a message ,saying that they don't have time to come in and vacuum, and I should contact Rick's pools to help me out to finish their job they got paid for. I feel that I paid them 600$ put chemicals in my pool. I think they have bad business practices. and I call Ricks place who charges 150 in hour to clean pool and 95$ to clean filer that take me 10 min to do. i'm not sure maybe just my experience, but I thought I should share.

Mike was very helpful and patient while we decided what options we wanted (pool size, liner style, etc.). At the same time we got quotes from two other pool installers. The experience and price was best at Pools and More. When it came time to install the pool the crew worked hard and fast. We had one day of site prep and one day of install. That 2nd day the team was done by the early evening, and then there was a water truck waiting in the road ready to fill it up. Mike then had the pool inspected the next day and we were ready to swim! I've had a few questions since then about balancing chemicals and operating the pump/filter/etc. Mike has been very responsive and helpful. Overall we would recommend them very highly! Note: We ended up choosing a 27 foot round above ground pool with the upgraded thicker liner, a salt water generator, and an electric heat pump heater (You need a heater, the pool is 88 degrees by 10am every morning. Don't forget the heater!).
