Use caution when patronizing this business. Still waiting for my suit 6 months later. She did not have the alterations done by the pick up date and kept giving me the runaround about picking up my suit. She's no longer returning phone calls about it. Not sure if I'll ever get my suit back. Wish I wouldn't have prepaid for the alteration. For anyone interested, here's what happened: I went to Sabrina's shop on September 4, 2021. I needed to get my suit altered for attending a wedding. I let her know the date of the event and she gave me an estimated pick up date that was a couple of days before the wedding. Unfortunately, I ended up getting Covid right before the wedding and could not attend. I called Sabrina a couple of weeks after my pick up date when I had fully recovered and explain the situation. She informed me that it was a good thing that I couldn't go to the wedding because she actually was not able to do the alteration at all. So if I had been able to go to the wedding, I would not had had a suit to wear. She let me know that she would have the alteration done by Friday of that week. She also informed me that she had to move the location of her business and would let me know when and where to pick up the suit when she called me to confirm it was ready. I received no call to pick up my suit. I gave it another couple of weeks and called her again and the same events repeated. She told me she'd finish by Friday and call me to confirm and then never called me. After the second time that happened, I left her a voicemail telling her not to even worry about doing the alteration and I just wanted my suit back. Ever since that point, she has not returned any of my phone calls. I've called her multiple times and left multiple voicemails simply requesting that I get my suit back. She has not responded to any attempts to reach her. Because she changed the location of her business, I have no idea where to go to request my suit back in person. I'm not sure if she lost or damaged the suit or something more nefarious has happened but regardless, I am here several months later, in a different calendar year, with no suit. I wish I had looked at more of her reviews before I went because it seems like this is not the first time she's done something like this. read more

This is not even worthy of 1 star. She ruined my t-shirt% She didn't put a finished hem on the bottom or the collar so doesn't come unfeigned when washed. I asked her for side slits, pacifically, she didn't do it. She forgot to write instructions properly on the receipt. She promised it a certain date, and she didn't follow thur. A seamstress/ tailor who has their own shop, should have the proper sewing machine and know how to do the collar and anything else she and the customer talk about. I ask her if she was going to be using the same collar for the V - neck? She said she would. So I assume she knew what she was doing. I didn't want to ask her more since she should know how to do things. Went yesterday( Wednesday) I was so upset, it looked so bad ! I paid, shouldn't have. But I was so upset I just want to get out of there. Came back asked for my money back. She did give it back. I asked her why she didn't finish the collar and hem properly so it doesn't come unfeigned ? She said she didn't have that piece on her swing machine to do that. Why would u not have that. It is an import part of sewing. She offered to pay for T-shirt and put the same things on it. But why would I want her to do that if everything she's done already was unpleasing to me. How could I trust her to keep her word? If you have had a better experience with her, good for you. But my trust in her and the ability she says she has. Unfortunately I had brought a maid of honor dress to her but it was not done upon pick up. The wedding was in another state so I had to have it ready by Friday before I left on the plane. I brought in the dress along with another jumpsuit more than 3 weeks before pick-up. The day of pick-up, I text to see if it was ready before I head over. I didn't get a response so then I called a bit later and it just went to voicemail. I end up going to her shop because they close at 2:30PM and I still haven't heard from her. The door is locked and no one was there. I end up calling again, texting and even messing on FB messenger. Her neighbor tenant end up coming out to check on me simultaneously while Sabrina finally called me back. Sabrina tells her to grab the dress for me and there's pins all over it. She never even touched it to work on it. She ends up telling me to take a dress to another seamstress to get it expedited... I had so many things to get done with my kids and trip for the wedding and this was the last thing I needed to deal with. There was no offer to compensate my time, gas, nothing. It was very unfortunate because I would have been a loyal customer. Sabrina is a nice and friendly lady but I cannot say she has her work organized. There was zero communication with me from the start of the day. I can't even speak for the quality of her work since I didn't get any of my items altered. read more

Dropped off a suit for a simple pants and coat hem on 29July and told 7 days. Came back 7 days later and told still not ready and to "give her over the weekend and Monday it'll be ready". Went ahead and gave her a few extra days and went in on Wednesday. So I walk in and told "I just finished the coat , give me 20 minutes and it'll be ready". I had errons to do I couldn't just sit there and wait. The whole thing was completely unprofessional, why give me an estimated date and it take double the time. With only so much as a "I was meaning to call you". Not worth the 60 dollars read more

Sabrina did a good enough job altering the garment I needed altered. (Other than some untrimmed threads hanging off the bottom) However, she didn't return my phone calls when the date I needed the garment was only 2-3 days away. Also, she said my garment was ready and that I could pick it up but the next two times I talked to her she said she was still working on it. Sabrina seems like a nice person and she also seemed very swamped with work. So I understand maybe getting behind on things. However clearer communication would've been appreciated. Or if she was really too busy to complete my garment on time (this is just a guess i'm making) I wish I would've been told so I could've chosen to take it somewhere else to be altered. read more

Asked for a quote from several businesses at the same time for some patch work and not only did Sabrina respond first but she had the best prices by far. I just picked up my jeans that received patches in the thigh areas and the patches were done with such high quality that I don't think I will be able to rub any new holes, ever! Completely terrible. Doesn't know what she is doing. Waited 6 months on garments. Made about 7 trips to her shop. Sleeping bag zipped where it should unzip. Unzipped where it should zip. Hole not repaired. Zipper was a disaster. Cost me $5. Very friendly. read more

I was traveling from Las Vegas on business and was in San Antonio, heading to New Jersey for a job interview and then on to Boston for more work. I had 4 pairs of slacks that all needed hemmed and adjusted for a medium break at the ankle and tapered cuff. Sabrina adjusted all 4 for me in 48 hours for a very reasonable price.
